A really nice little journey back in time, a restaurant from the 1970s (unfortunately there are fewer and fewer) and a modern restaurant with TOP dishes. Whether the “Mr. Pomper” or the goose meal, the kitchen/cook is great, as is the service. You simply HAVE to feel comfortable here.

I was spontaneously there yesterday with a friend. He had a calzone and I had a Diavolo. At the end there was a schnapps on the house with the delicious pizza. I'll definitely come back!

Were in the new location on the new Torstrasse for the first time. There was no pizza at all, even though it was still on the menu on the website. Whatever the reason… a hint would have been good. Unfortunately pork fillet was very dry and tough. Ambience and service are still very good.

I can't say anything about the food... but about the service. We ordered 5 kebab plates yesterday. Unfortunately, my daughter and her boyfriend had an accident on the way there where the car overturned. Luckily nothing happened to the two of them... The two were of course in shock and had to go to the hospital in Detmold. When I called to order, only one plate of kebab was ready and I asked to wait with the order because I didn't know what to do next. My daughter also called while the two were being taken to the hospital. Unfortunately the conversation was very negative. The owner also has to feed his children and she should send a photo of the accident, otherwise she will get a report. In the end he canceled the order. We won't be ordering from there anymore. I'm shocked by the reaction

The restaurant itself is highly recommended, both in terms of location and ambiance. There's absolutely NOTHING to complain about with the food either (I had No. 14 - pork steak). The meat was PERFECT. No tendons and cooked to perfection. The service, however, is poor. The young waitress was hopelessly overwhelmed, and we waited 30 minutes for a cappuccino. The other colleague became rude and completely uncomprehending when we criticized her. That's completely unacceptable! Even for food (which we wanted to take away), we had to wait over 30 minutes, and it only came when we asked for it. It was probably simply forgotten.

This little café is an insider tip for cake lovers. The house is rustically furnished.

The food used to be really good, unfortunately the menu has been minimized and the salad, for example, was watered down. The dressing didn't have much flavor. The fries were well seasoned and crunchy, but some of the dip was poured over the fries and the fries were therefore soggy. Due to the very small menu and little selection as well as dishes without any pizzazz, I can no longer recommend the bistro. The service was very friendly and attentive, no question, the atmosphere is also really nice, the prices and size of the dishes would also be acceptable if they were tasty again.
