Soleil Bistro & Café in Lemgo

The best food and drink I've experienced at a swimming pool and sauna in years. A fantastic selection with changing daily and weekly specials, and world-class coffee (!), which you'd never expect at a swimming pool. The team is super friendly and very attentive. I can't understand the recent reviews here at all. We'd love to come back. Thank you so much for the wonderful sauna day! Other pools, and especially their food and drink, could learn a thing or two from this!

A very friendly couple who run the restaurant are still passionate about their work. Great team, everyone is very friendly and always helpful. We've been to the bistro several times now as sauna guests, and it's been excellent every time. Thank you so much for the great food and delicious drinks. Highly recommended.

I can't comment on the food. However, the drinks on the menu are regularly unavailable. The staff aren't experts and have only limited knowledge of the drinks on the menu, so as a guest, you have to explain/correct what you want. Furthermore, the staff is generally very slow and often seems overworked. The long waits for drinks are rarely understandable to me, as there are no visible lines. Due to the lack of calibration marks on the glasses, it's difficult to determine whether you're getting the amount you ordered.

Such a shame! The food is incredibly expensive and the quality isn't at all commensurate. A tarte flambée for €12 was barely topping, dry, and lacking in love. The burger (although made with local meat) had maybe only 100g of meat on it. The overall selection is limited. The salad and fries are below average. The service is also downright rude. You feel uncomfortable ordering something because you're ignored or the staff are simply unmotivated. We usually love going to the sauna and like to combine it with good food. But that's not the case here.

The menu selection is quite small, and half of it was already sold out that evening. I've never experienced anything like this before. It's a real shame. What was left was fine.

The food used to be really good, but unfortunately the menu has been significantly reduced, and the salad, for example, has become watered down. The dressing didn't have much flavor. While the fries were well-seasoned and crispy, the dip spilled over some of the fries, leaving them soggy in places. Due to the very small menu, limited selection, and lackluster dishes, I can no longer recommend this bistro. The service was very friendly and attentive, no doubt about it. The ambiance is also really nice. The prices and size of the dishes would be acceptable if they were more flavorful.

We often eat fries here. They're filling enough for the price, and, most importantly, they're always crispy and well-seasoned. The cappuccino costs €3.50, but it's the best cappuccino I've ever had at a water park or other spa. It's a really good portafilter cappuccino. And the staff are always friendly and smiling towards our son. A real asset for the little EauLe.

On Fridays, the bistro is officially open until 9 p.m. Unfortunately, the kitchen was already "cleaned" by 7:30 p.m., so we could only order drinks. By 8:40 p.m., they weren't even available... It's a shame, because for us, eating and drinking are part of the experience. We'll choose a different sauna next time.
