Zündkerze in Lemgo

The pizza always tastes delicious, but the pizzas are quite small. Otherwise, a great central location and cult status in Lemgo. The ambiance is well-kept and has its own character, as it should. The service is very friendly.

For me, it was my first and last visit. I was extremely disappointed with the food. My spinach pizza was rock hard and dripping with oil. For the rather hefty price, I would have expected significantly higher quality.

I've been going to Kerze for over 30 years, but what happened to us on Saturday, August 16th, is simply beyond words!! The three pizzas were delicious, although they were smaller. One pizza was made with regular dough instead of whole wheat as ordered. The spinach lasagna was okay, but it used to taste better. The real kicker, though, was that we ordered a portion of plain spaghetti, for which the young waiter charged €8!!! 😳😳 When I asked if that could be true (spaghetti Bolognese costs €10.50!!), he said, "Yeah, of course, we have to stand up and cook a separate pot of pasta, so we'll just deduct €2.50 for the one without sauce." I then asked why €8 was justified for a portion of pasta, and he walked away from the discussion! This is completely out of all proportion when you consider what a portion of spaghetti costs at the retail price, and especially the €2.50 for the sauce is completely out of proportion. The friendly female waitress deserves a special mention. There was no tip, though, which was definitely included in the €8 bill. For us, this was the last time we went to Zündkerze. In the future, we'll be spending our money elsewhere on our visits to Lemgo!

I visited this restaurant and overall had a great experience! Everything was good and we enjoyed our meal. One thing to note was our vegetable salad - while it was fresh, it did seem to have a lot more lettuce compared to other vegetables. It takes more then 30 minutes to get the food.Still, we appreciated the food and service here!

An institution in Lemgo's gastronomy scene. The food is top-notch, as is the ambiance. The coolest team in the world comes together to work here, and the service is first-class. My recommendation? Anything with extra garlic—I particularly like the Hillentrup pizza. For drinks, there's Teegernseer on tap, a fantastic rhubarb spritzer, and the best-mixed Aperol Spritz I've ever tasted. (The drinks menu is, of course, much more extensive, but I'm a fan of the deri.)

Good service and great ambience! Especially with the Biergarten in Summer, easily one of the best spots in Lemgo for dinner and location is a prime advantage. The pizza was definitely different, not the usual crust but tasted good. I felt the pizza was a little overpriced. The baguette was good, and tasty.

Pizza Ankara is an absolute recommendation!!!

Yes, the spark plug is and remains a cult, a top team behind the counter and in the kitchen ensures a good mood, well-chilled drinks, delicious food and really great music. There is something for everyone.

Has good pizza and drinks. The Wüste car park is closer and so is the bus station.

One of the nicest “pubs” in the region for many years. The price/performance ratio is right. Delicious, friendly and informal. You can go out to eat in work clothes after work without feeling weird. Keep it up.

The fact that I was served a portion of tzatziki late in the evening, even though the kitchen was actually closed, saved me from crashing after visiting the Lemgoer Kläschenmarkt. THANKS to the spark plug team!

During a live concert it was quite crowded. But it was easy to get drinks and delicious slices of pizza from the kitchen. It was really a nice evening...

The pizza with whole wheat dough is highly recommended. The only negative point is that most of the beers on the beer menu are never “stocked”.

I have known the spark plug since I lived in Lemgo and that was over 25 years ago. Simply cult, it's always been good, is good and will hopefully stay that good for a long time. What can you say, the pizzas are so delicious and with a Tegernsee beer, wow I feel like it again. 👍

We only stopped here for a beer, but the service was very good and the atmosphere was great. The food we saw looked very good. We will definitely try the kitchen on our next visit.

Unfortunately I only got the spark plug shortly before the end and we got another beer. The service was great. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash here, which is not very modern. I think it was great that we were able to sit at the bar. I would like the spark plug to be a little more comfortable. I would like to come back for a second review and a meal.

Food super tasty. I would definitely recommend a starter as the portions are not that big. But it can be easily reconciled with the price. The atmosphere is nice and it is always well attended.

Erinnert etwas an eine Szene-Kneipe. Hat eine besondere Atmosphäre und die Pizza schmeckt auch gut!

tolle Kneipe mit aufmerksamem Service, guter Getränkeauswahl und super leckeren Pizzen. Für jede Pizza gibt es die Optionen normal oder klein sowie Vollkornmehl oder normales Mehl - die Beläge sind sehr kreativ und schmecken einfach super 👍

Ein nettes Lokal wo man freundlich und höflich bedient wird. Wenn man da Essen und Trinken möchte sollte sich ein Tisch reservieren lassen.

Schöner Biergarten mit tollen Biersorten und sehr gutem Essen! Sowohl drin als auch draußen ein Besuch wert. Alle Mitarbeiter sind wirklich nett und aufmerksam.

Also wenn man was essen möchte kann man das dort für mein Geschmack gut. Prinzipiell wäre es nicht schlecht wenn man seine Getränke selbst mitbringen könnte, war nämlich schon des öfteren so, dass das Getränk im Glas nicht alleine ankam. Der Service, naja was will man erwarten von Angestellten die froh sind gleich wieder chillen zu können weil es zu warm ist oder mal n bisschen voller als normal ist?! Sorry, nicht in der Gastro.. Fazit: Anrufen essen bestellen abhauen.

Superleckere Pizza, sehr nette Bedienung und nicht so steif und förmlich, einfach super!

Als ich die Lasagne gegessen habe, bekam ich einen Anruf aus dem Krankenhaus. Die Frau am anderen Ende hat mir mitgeteilt das mein Vater deine Herzerkrankung überstanden hat und wieder nach Hause kann. Die Bedienung ist super nett und kümmert sich um jeden. Ich würde vor der Tür von einem betrunkenen angepögelt und die Bedingung stand mir zur Seite und hat den Mann ins Krankenhaus geprügelt.

Immer wieder ein Geschmacks-Erlebnis, freundliches Personal. Manchmal etwas laut.

ja moin beste Grüße vom alt eingesessenen, Die Kerze ist die kultigste urigste und charmanteste kneipe in der ich je war. Es ist immer ein großes Vergnügen dort hin zu gehen und es ist ein Stückchen Heimat 😊. Ich bin jede Woche da und es wird nie langweilig und man trifft immer spannende interessante Leute. Möge das licht der Kerze 🕯️nie erlöschen 😇

Da es im Restaurant sehr saunamäßig heiß und feucht war, saßen wir spontan draußen und wurden mit Fellen und Decken verwöhnt! Wunderbar!!!

Die Kultkneipe in Lemgo, hier tanzt der Bär, netter familiärer Service, Szenekneipe mit alternativ angehauchtem Touch, von Jungs bis Alt ist jeden etwas dabei. Leckeres Essen. Insbesondere die Pizza ist zu empfehlen.

Pizzen wie immer lecker, besonders die Buxtehude oder Schalkidiki?! … ansonsten gibt es bei den Größen einen Abzug. Die normale bzw große Pizza ist bei anderen Läden eine Kinderpizza 🤷‍♂️

Für den kleinen Hunger o.k. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen sind gut und natürlich auch schnell belegt. Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit wurde die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen. Die Essensauswahl ist überschaubar, die Pizzen mit kreativem Belag versehen. Alle Pizzen lassen sich auch als kleine Pizza bestellen - ist dann aber sehr klein. Nach einer längeren Wartezeit würden unsere Pizzen geliefert. Satt sind wir leider nicht geworden. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist leider nicht gegeben. Fazit: nur zu empfehlen wenn man keinen großen Hunger hat.

Gute und leckere Speisen, Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt auch außen Sitzplätze.

Das essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt das kann man sehr empfehlen aber ich musst 1 1/2 stunden drauf warten. Die haben sich zwar oft entschuldigt aber trotzdem.
