Based on a recommendation, our expectations were fully met. Rustic ambience, delicious burgers, early Kölsch and relaxed service - what more could you want?

Very cozy atmosphere. The seven of us quickly got a table. The young service person was very friendly, courteous and in a good mood. If you accidentally poured too much beer but drank it, it wasn't charged. The food was also ready quickly and really tasty. The home-made fries deserve special praise. The quantity was absolutely ok and the price was reasonable and not exorbitant like elsewhere. We'd love to come back.

It was terrific! There are no defects whatsoever...neither in the service, the timing, the quality and taste of the food, the friendliness or the price. It's rare that I have such difficulty deciding between so many great and unusual dishes. Ultimately it was the Penne Paul and it was an absolute culinary delight - in love with shock! My husband had a burger and wedges. The meat arrived exactly as ordered - medium. Was super tasty! The accompanying aioli dip was also great. The staff always tried hard, were totally accommodating, always had a smile on their faces and simply matched the atmosphere. The wait to drink and eat was super pleasant. The entire outdoor area was fully occupied and there were another 5 tables inside, but neither the kitchen nor the service staff showed anything. They were always available and asked if everything was tasty and if anything else was needed. We will come back every time we stay in NRW. The anticipation is already huge again!!!

Had the sweet potato cream soup as a starter, simply great. We continued with the bacon burger + double patty, a tasty example. As dessert there was the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and an espresso + water (which for many people is no longer considered included). The food was all beautifully served with a pleasant wait and everything tasted excellent. The service was satisfactory, all the employees were very nice, polite and very attentive. We like coming here. It's very comfortable to sit there in a nice atmosphere. The food and drinks are delicious and the service is friendly. I just can't recommend sitting upstairs when it's warm, the heat builds up enormously there. So we went outside later after dinner, which was fortunately possible. We visit there once a year and always end up in the city light, traditions must be preserved.

I was there, waited half an hour to get something to drink and left again. Lemgo doesn't really have many good restaurants, so it was full, but still... I would have been happy with some water...

The city light inspires me with its very friendly service and good quality food. Everything is made possible. Luca in particular has everything firmly under control and takes great care!!!!

We had reserved a table for a birthday party by phone some time ago. When we arrived yesterday we were seated outside, right next to the speakers on a stage. However, we had reserved a table inside. It was hardly possible to have a conversation because of the performances on stage and when it started to rain we asked if we could eat inside as planned. However, the waiter dismissed us by saying that he had already been asked that 18 times today. There is nothing to complain about the food. We also accepted that as a group we only had 5 dishes to choose from. Since, as mentioned, entertaining was not possible and it was cold and wet, we decided to have more drinks and dessert at another restaurant. If we had been informed when booking that we would be sitting outside and unable to chat, we would have preferred to celebrate our birthday somewhere else. However, ultimately the highlight of the whole thing (and also the reason why I'm writing this) was how we handled our complaint when paying. When we expressed our displeasure while paying, we were even laughed at. So if you don't care how you are treated and if you don't want to be valued, you can eat here. However, if you value service in addition to good food, you're in the wrong place!

Yesterday we were in the city lights in the pouring rain. It was correspondingly full in the restaurant. The service was very quick and courteous. The food was again excellent and we can only recommend it.

A real highlight in Lemgo's gastronomy - in the middle of the market square with plenty of outdoor seating, but of course also seats in the restaurant. Good varied menu with some vegetarian options and so far everything has always tasted very good 😋

Were there at lunchtime today (Sunday) and sat outside in the best weather - cozy terrace, beautifully decorated with olive trees. Service was really nice and quite quick. The fries are really great and recommended, crispy and salty! Burgers are good too. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Wiener Schnitzel at all - it wasn't fried crispy at all, the breading was totally greasy and soft. Also pretty tasteless, barely seasoned. In response to my feedback, I was told that that was the intention (?!) - they would rather season less because you could add more seasoning (funnily enough, that wasn't the case with the fries and if that's the case, then salt should be included). on the table) and in the city light the breading should be the same. In pictures from other reviews you can see that the schnitzel otherwise seems to be crispier and browner. A pity! To be fair, I have to say that I was offered a new schnitzel - but it was too bad or a waste for the bin. It would have been nice if the service had asked upon arrival whether we needed a high chair (2 small children with us) - I think that's part of good service. Nevertheless, we would of course like to come back, just eat something different.

Actually my first five star review. Discovered by chance while taking a walk in Lemgo. This restaurant is now worth the trip from Paderborn twice a week. The truffle pasta is an absolute dream. I also can't rave enough about the New York Cheesecake.

I was very impressed with this place. The service was super nice and attentive. The food and drinks came very quickly. We had burgers and fries and both tasted very, very good. The fries were with the skin on, which I found particularly good. The ambience is absolutely beautiful.

Selten so gute, engagierte, freundliche und gästeorientierte Servicemitarbeiter erlebt. Wir fühlten uns hier mehr als wohl und willkommen und geschmeckt hat es auch allen sehr gut. Kleiner Sterneabzug für das grelle Licht im Kuchenbuffet im hinteren Raum.

Waren auf einem Samstag Abend im Lokal zum essen.Kellner war schon etwas zu überfreundlich was es leicht nervig macht. Essen kam sehr schnell echt positiv. Bacon Buger ist leider nicht so lecker, das Bun schmeckte nach altem Toast. Kalbsschnitzel hingegen sehr gut. Allerdings finde ich den Preis für eine Portion Pommes von 4,50€ zusötzlich zum Burger schon echt frech. Ambiente ist schön aber bei der Lautstärke durch die anderen Gäste hat es eher was von einer Kneipe

Schönes Ambiente, leckeres Essen, nicht gerade günstig, Personal hatte keine Ahnung, was es als Tageskuchen gab, nachdem aber explizit gefragt werden sollte. Die Antwort war: "da gehen sie an die Kuchenauslage im Erdgeschoss und suchen sich was aus". Wir saßen im zweiten Stock ... Letztlich haben wir dann Waffeln genommen. Immerhin waren die lecker.

Bin immer gerne im Stadtlicht wenn ich in Lemgo bin, obwohl die Preise schon ziemlich angestiegen sind finde ich. Aber mein letzter Besuch war nicht so entspannend wie sonst weil die Bedienung nicht sonderlich freundlich war. Hab mich nicht so wohl oder willkommen gefühlt wie sonst 😕

Super Service, leckeres Essen und gemütliches Ambiente. Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend dort und das Lokal war voll besetzt. Trotzdem hatten wir unser Essen (Burger) innerhalb von 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung, was für eine gute Organisation spricht. Darüber hinaus war das Essen auch noch sehr lecker und der Preis war ebenfalls angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind spontan abends eingekehrt. Ergo: keine Reservierung. Der Laden war sehr voll, trotzdem wurden wir freundlich begrüßt. Man konnte uns „nur einen Tisch hinten in der Ecke, neben dem Tresen anbieten“. Uns hat diese kleine Ecke sehr gefallen, da wir recht separieret saßen und so für uns sein konnten. War also gar kein Problem. Und obwohl so der Service also aktiv zu uns musste und sich nicht „im vorbeigehen“ um uns kümmern konnte, wurden wir sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war fantastisch. Alleine dafür würden wir nochmal nach Lemgo kommen. Das Servicepersonal hat auch so ungezwungen und sympathisch mit unserer Tochter (8J) kommuniziert. Essen perfekt! Service perfekt! Ambiente perfekt! :-)

Essen gut, Ambiente angenehm. Nur beim Service ist noch Potential. Wir mussten ständig bescheid geben, dass wir noch was bestellen möchten. Leere Gläser wurden einfach auf dem Platz stehen gelassen. Wenn das noch verbessert wird, dann gibt es auch hier mehr Sterne. Komme aber gerne wieder.

Richtig gemütlich, über mehrere Etagen. Richtig gut haben mir die selbstgemachten Soßen gefallen. Hier Kellner/in zu sein muss tatsächlich sehr hart sein, da man permanent die Treppen rauf und runterlaufen muss. Großes Lob!

Das Essen ist immer wieder sehr gut, von rund 50 besuchen war ich nur einmal enttäuscht aber dann auch auf ganzer Linie. Nobody is Perfect, jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag auch der Koch. Sehr empfehlenswert

Kleinod der Gemütlichkeit und des Services. Viel Ambiente und die Qualität der Gerichte ist super, alles lecker frisch zubereitet. Daumen ganz hoch! Die Mitarbeiter im Service sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Für unseren Hund wurde gleich eine Wasserschale hingestellt. Für die Kinder Malbücher und Stifte bereitgestellt. Dafür 5 Sterne + Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Wir waren schon zum 2 mal dar, wir haben einen Tisch im Restaurant gehabt. Das Restaurant ist vom Eingang bis nach oben sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell am Tisch, unsere Getränke und Essen sind schnell serviert worden. Zum Essen es ist richtig gut angerichtet und dazu noch richtig gut, werden öfters vorbei kommen und auch Sonntags werden wir nach unserem Hunde Spaziergang wenn's Wetter es zulässt draußen unseren Kaffee trinken.Macht weiter so und Ihr seit Klasse.

Das Restaurant Stadtlicht liegt mitten im historischen Zentrum von Lemgo, direkt am schönen Marktplatz gegenüber vom Rathaus. Hier sitzt man in einem schönen Ambiente draußen und man kann die Umgebung genießen. Im Inneren kann man natürlich auch sitzen, aber da waren wir nicht. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielseitig und hat wirklich außergewöhnliche Gerichte. Ich hatte einen ungewöhnlichen Burger und habe ihn sehr genossen. Auch die anderen Gerichte sagen sehr gut aus und kamen gut an. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und versuchte, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen wieder.

Ein wundbares Restaurant, sowohl innen als auch draußen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben Burger und Kalbsschnitzel gegessen und waren begeistert von der sehr guten Qualität und von dem außergewöhnlich guten Geschmack der Speisen. Ich habe schon viele Burger gegessen, aber noch niemals einen Besseren. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut, ich empfehle dieses Restaurant.

Mein Lieblingslokal in Lemgo. Man kann gemütlich drin oder draußen sitzen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell. Vor allem der Curry schmeckt besonders lecker und im Winter gibt's leckeren weißen Glühwein

Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Preise sind definitiv höher,aber noch gut. Der Burger hebt sich klar vom 08/15 Rest in Lemgo ab,daher zahlt man gern etwas mehr... :)

Ein tolles Ambiente mit nettem Service macht auch den trübsinnigsten Regentag zu etwas Besonderem.
