Today we were there after our grandmother's funeral. I would rate the food as “3”. Unfortunately the waiter was very unfriendly and started asking us to “leave” after two hours. He put pressure on us several times that we had to leave now. This is very rude and I would like to express it here. At a funeral you want to spend some time with your family. He prevented that. There was schnitzel and he brought out the dishes too quickly. My sister wasn't even asked whether she wanted a "turkey" or "pork schnitzel". In addition, the waiter often gave stupid answers to questions. Sad.
We have been coming to Dimi for many years. This was the last time. After the Soutzoukakia had its ups and downs (sometimes wonderfully fresh, then thawed again, then microwaved) it was always homemade and tasted good, sometimes more, sometimes less. Today there were three long, gray frozen cevapcicci, cheap ready-made products. After the first bite, I tried to get the attention of the two female waitresses, but failed, so that after 10 minutes I had to go through the winter garden with the plate to the bar, which I actually wanted to avoid because of course everyone was looking. There I told the two of them that I don't go to the restaurant for cheap ready-made products and that I also found the Aperol spritz (with two! almost 3cm thick orange halves and a plastic ice cream ball to increase the volume) along with the plastic straw, which is actually forbidden, to be pretty crazy for the price. The two nodded in understanding, that was it. There was no reaction from Dimi, no explanation, no apology, nothing. Only the dish was not calculated. If you can no longer do things yourself for cost reasons or for whatever reason, you should take them off the menu. Very easy. Actually. But like that, never again. Who knows what else will be bought ready-made. We definitely don't want to try it out.
It's a real shame that I've ordered there twice now and haven't received any food. I've been a regular customer so far but that was the last time I ordered something from this store.
Service and dealing with customers is the last thing
I live around the corner and was unfortunately only here for the first time recently: Unfortunately, because I should have been here much earlier and more often: the owner is super friendly, the vegetarian kebab is delicious and fresh, sumac is on the start (deluxe) and when there was a tea on the house I was completely convinced! 5 stars
As with every visit, the staff was super friendly and attentive. Portions are large and tasty. Since the snack bar is in small Merkenich, you can safely stand in a parking ban for 2 hours.
The harmoniously decorated space has a calming vibe. Attentive service provided detailed explanations of the food and drinks. The portions were a bit small, but beautifully presented. We felt very comfortable and welcome.
The food is particularly deliciously seasoned. Always very fresh ingredients. Very friendly service and the open design of the shop means you can see how everything is freshly prepared. It simply tastes extremely delicious and I often drive by there just to pick something up.
In addition to the standard menu. There are also always changing weekly menus. The boss's sauces are delicious. In my opinion the best pizzas in the area.
I always enjoy coming here. For us geocachers it's a favorite local spot. The service is extremely nice and accommodating. The food is very tasty and the portions are more than sufficient ;-) I wish the team continues to have such good hands for this restaurant
