Great food. As a vegetarian and vegan I enjoyed a healthy happy bowl. The service was lovely. Yeah after 4 days Tony Robbins the perfect meal before i go bbc sck to Berlin. Eat it and enjoy

I didn't think my bowl was bad but not great either. Unfortunately, both the vegetables and the meat pieces were very, very roughly cut. Since it's difficult to cut something with chopsticks, the whole thing was a bit unpleasant to eat. Unfortunately, I didn't find the bowl's overall taste to be properly balanced. I think it lacked a bit of freshness. Something fruity or a sauce with lime would definitely have helped. To my taste, the meat could have been seasoned a little more strongly/marinated longer. I also didn't like the white sauce on the rice. This was somehow relatively fatty and gave the rice a somewhat mushy consistency, which I found somewhat unpleasant in terms of mouthfeel when eating it. The mushrooms, however, were excellent and very tasty. The staff is very nice. The interior is a bit cooler and is a bit reminiscent of a break room. However, I will definitely come back and try the non-bowl dishes.

Nice concept, friendly service and very hard working and willing to learn. The food is good, but the chef's background makes you hope for a little more sophistication.

Modern and at first glance inconspicuous local near Cologne train station. The location is known for its star chef Maximilian Lorenz and not only because it serves great food. The restaurant is partly self-service: orders are placed at the counter and you are quickly served freshly prepared and absolutely delicious food. Payment is also made at the counter on the way out. The service is very courteous and kind. The atmosphere is modern - it's a great shop, especially for lunch, as it's quick and you can then take a digestive walk on the Rhine promenade.

You get great food and can go in in casual clothing. The prices are above, for example, a normal lunch menu. From our point of view, price/performance was completely okay. Gladly again.

The bowls are delicious and fresh, the staff is friendly, but unfortunately the hygiene is lacking, as I discovered on my second visit. The employee behind the counter prepares the bowls, handles the vegetables and collects money in between. Hand washing is non-existent. When my thumbnail was stuck in the vegetables in the bowl while serving, I lost my appetite. That is not how it works. It's a shame, because otherwise everything is good.

Unfortunately all (!) components were cold and the meat tasted like it had been from the day before. The seasoning was consistently bland - a shame! The vegetables were bland, uninspired and some of them came from a can. We wouldn't have expected that given the name and reputation.

A gem place. Tried their 'Honshu' and 'Nice Veggi' Bowls. And both were delicious. Ben was super helpful when it comes to explaining the dish and helping to choose from the menu, Highly recommend their bowls - you wont be disappointed.

Very pleasant service (bravo for young waiter), good place to eat near the railway station. It is an excellent idea to offer such service by a Michelin quality restaurant. The bowl Honshu is excellent, but Teriyaki is not at all. It will be good to provide pictures in the menu card (I thought that my bowl will looks similar to the picture on the website of the ML Strassenkueche, but it was completely different).

Die Bowls sind eine Geschmacksexplosion. Der Preis ist sehr angemessen und man bekommt super Qualität in guter Menge in die Schüssel. Tolles Essen von freundlichen Köchen. Leider müssen sie auch noch bedienen und kassieren, was in Stoßzeiten dazu führt, dass man länger warten muss, als in einer "Straßenküche" üblich :-). Ich komme aber gerne wieder.

Waren vor unserem Musical Besuch dort essen. Ausgefallene Bowls und ein sehr leckerer Flammkuchen. Außerdem war die Bedingung sehr zuvorzukommen und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder, vielen Dank

Super höfliche Mitarbeiter und meine Bowl war sehr großzügig mit Fleisch serviert . Die geizen da nicht rum mit den etwa teureren Zutaten . Auch super symphatische Mitarbeiter

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend in der Strassenküche. Der Koch hat uns bei der Essensauswahl gut beraten. Das Essen kam schnell und es hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt! Wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sind, kommen wir bestimmt nochmal vorbei.

Wir waren am Donnerstag im Restaurant "ML Strassenküche". Nicht weit weg vom Kölner Hauptbahnhof oder Musical Dome direkt neben dem Weinlokal. Etwas versteckt aber gut zu Fuß  und schnell zu erreichen. Es handelt sich um ein Ausbildungsprojekt von Maximilian Lorenz, dem Sternekoch von Köln. Hier organisieren sich die Auszubildenden selber. Sie kalkulieren, kochen, bedienen und servieren kleine Köstlichkeiten. Es ist eine gesund alternative Küche. Das Konzept der kleinen Karte gefiel uns sehr gut. Wir entschieden uns für eine Bowl "Teriyaki", welche uns in kurzer Zeit präsentiert wurde. Die Portionen haben ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und waren sehr lecker. Getränke kann man sich aus dem Selbstbedienungs Kühlschrank nehmen. Die Inneneinrichtung haben die Auszubildenden selber ausgesucht. Die Ausstattung an den Wänden sind passend zum Lokal. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und kompetent bedient. Erst zum Schluss haben wir erfahren, dass es sich um ein Restaurant handelt wo Ausubildende ihren Beruf erlernen. Man merkt es aber auf Grund der Professionalität gar nicht. Es wäre schön gewesen man hätte etwas mehr erfahren über diesen tollen Ausbildungsplatz. Wir bedanken uns für die Gastfreundschaft und kommen gerne wieder. Dieses Lokal möchten wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Weiter so, denn es gibt leider zu wenig so gute Ausbildungsprojekte. El jueves fuimos al restaurante "ML Strassenkuche".  No muy lejos de la estación central de Colonia o del Musical Dome, justo al lado del bar de vinos.  Un poco escondido pero fácil de caminar y se puede llegar rápidamente. Es un proyecto formativo de Maximilian Lorenz, el chef estrella de Colonia.  Aquí los aprendices se organizan.  Calculan, cocinan, sirven y sirven pequeños manjares.  Es una cocina alternativa saludable.  Nos gustó mucho el concepto de la tarjeta pequeña. Nos decidimos por un bol "Teriyaki", que nos fue presentado en poco tiempo.  Las raciones tienen una buena relación calidad-precio y son muy sabrosas.  Puede tomar bebidas de la nevera de autoservicio.  Los aprendices eligieron el diseño interior ellos mismos.  Los muebles de las paredes hacen juego con el restaurante.  Nos sirvieron muy amable y competentemente.  Solo al final descubrimos que este es un restaurante donde los aprendices aprenden su oficio.  Pero no lo notas por la profesionalidad. Hubiera sido bueno haber aprendido un poco más sobre esta gran posición de entrenamiento. Le agradecemos la hospitalidad y nos encantaría volver. Definitivamente recomendaríamos este restaurante.  Sigan así, porque lamentablemente no hay suficientes proyectos de formación buenos. We went to the "ML Strassenkuche" restaurant on Thursday.  Not far from Cologne Central Station or the Musical Dome right next to the wine bar.  A bit hidden but easy to walk to and can be reached quickly. It is a training project by Maximilian Lorenz, the star chef from Cologne.  Here the trainees organize themselves.  They calculate, cook, serve and serve small delicacies.  It's healthy alternative cuisine.  We really liked the concept of the small card. We decided on a "Teriyaki" bowl, which was presented to us in a short time.  The portions are good value and very tasty.  You can take drinks from the self-service fridge.  The trainees chose the interior design themselves.  The furnishings on the walls match the restaurant.  We were served very friendly and competently.  Only at the end did we find out that this is a restaurant where trainees learn their trade.  But you don't notice it because of the professionalism. It would have been nice to have learned a little more about this great training position. We thank you for the hospitality and would love to come back. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.  Keep it up, because unfortunately there are not enough good training projects.

Super Essen, wenn das Restaurant geöffnet hat. Es ist immer ein Glücksspiel, ob die Straßenküche auf ist oder zu. Mal funktioniert der Strom nicht, beim nächsten Mal ist der Reiskocher kaputt oder die Kühlung. Wenn diese Dinge laufen würden, gerne mehr Sterne - das Team ist immer extrem freundlich und bemüht. Aber Kontinuität ist wichtig und derzeit ist das Konzept kein Aushängeschild für Maximilian Lorenz.

Tolles, hochwertiges und nahrhaftes Essen, innovativ und inspirierend. Sehr freundliche und interessierte Servicekräfte, die hier agieren. Mega finde ich das Konzept, da die Auszubildenden des benachbarten Edelrestaurants Maximilian Lorenz hier ebenfalls das komplette Management eines Lokals praktizieren können. Top - das nenne ich mal ein wertvoller Beitrag für hohe Qualität in der Kulinarik und in der zukunftsweisenden Nachhaltigkeit bei der Ausbildung!

Wahnsinnig leckere und hochwertige Gerichte zu fairen Preisen! Hier bekommt man wirklich tolle Bowls, eine sehr nette Bedienung und die Portionen sind auch großzügig! Nur zu empfehlen und ich hoffe, dass ihr zur festen Institution im Veedel werdet!

Gemanaged von Azubis des nebenan liegenden Sternerestaurants. Teriyaki-Bowl war super. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre.

Absolute Top-Empfehlung nicht weit vom Hauptbahnhof. Etwas versteckt, aber nur einen Steinwurf vom Kölner Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Sehr gemütliche Location mit sehr leckeren Essen. Es gibt eine ordentliche Auswahl unterschiedlicher Bowls. Dazu verschiedene Erfrischungsgetränke oder auf Kaffee. Hatte zur Bowl eine Bionade und im Nachgang eine Cappuccino. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und gemütlich. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Im Hintergrund läuft Musik. Kartenzahlung ist problemlos möglich.

ML Strassenküche ein MUSS für alle, die feines Essen mit Geschmacksexplosion genießen! Die Bowls sind der Hammer!!! Oberlekker ! absolute Empfehlung und dabei preislich sehr fair !

I came a few time for their breakfast options. I liked the congee and also their wrap. Today I got the chicken teriyaki bowl and was quite disappointed. The atmosphere is much better when it's light outside. When it's dark outside, the atmosphere is a bit unwelcoming. The small components of the bowl where good, but the rice was a bit too grainy and the chicken was awful. It was very dry and it had an overwhelming taste of soy sauce and nothing else

Super freundliches Personal und ein sehr schöne Idee, den jungen Köchen die Möglichkeit zu geben zu zeigen was sie können. Schnelle Küche mit Geschmack der Extralative. Hier gibts definitiv kein Essen was 0815 ist und das auch für den Geldbeutel des Durchschnittsverbraucher. Leider sieht man dem Lokal nur von draußen nicht wirklich an das es drin mega lecker ist. In der Optik und Gestaltung des Lokas ist noch Potential nach oben, dann würden mit Sicherheit auch mehr Leute aufmerksam werden. Absolute Empfehlung

I come here maybe about once a week because it’s so good. I do miss their pulled pork bowl, that was by far their best bowl! The food quality, great fresh ingredients and healthy options is insane. It’s like you get to eat delicious without feeling guilty.

Ich war jetzt schon das zweite Mal innerhalb von zwei Wochen in der Straßenküche, einfach weil ich es beim ersten Mal (war alleine da, wollte nach einer langen Zugfahrt einfach schnell eine Kleinigkeit in Bahnhofsnähe essen bevor es nach Hause ging) sooooo lecker fand, dass ich wenige Tage später nochmal meine beste Freundin hinschleppen musste. Sowohl der Sushi-Teller (Sonne und Meer) als auch die Poke Bowl (Limette Lachs) waren sehr frisch, angenehm zu essen bei den warmen Temperaturen, lecker, die Sauce, die Sprossen... es war alles schön gewürzt ohne den natürlichen Geschmack der Zutaten zu übertünchen und auch die Kombination aus allem war schön bunt und harmonisch! Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend :) Preise fanden wir definitiv auch fair, wir kommen also wieder! ☺️

Sehr guter Laden und typische Einrichtung für eine Straßenküche. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber wir wurden sehr schnell fündig. Die Zubereitung ist frisch, hochwertig und ausgesprochen lecker. Die Portionen sind ausreichend groß und wir waren gut gesättigt. Wir können diesen Laden absolut empfehlen und in Hauptbahnhofnähe ist das eine tolle Alternative zu billigem Fast Food

Das Vietnam Rührei war absolut spitze, jedoch war ich vom Ambiente und der Einrichtung des Restaurants enttäuscht
