Update 24 good home cooking and now shortly before Christmas the barley soup is great!!! Update 23 still very tasty home cooking at reasonable prices unfortunately the excellent barley soup is no longer available on Saturdays, it's a shame the Serbian one is also good but unfortunately there's no substitute! 23 years ago I've probably known this place for 10 years and have always stood in front of the closed door when I came by here on my bike and have always heard that there is a very tasty lunch here! Unfortunately, the kitchen closes at 1 p.m. and the restaurant reopens at 1:30 p.m. at 6 p.m.! Now it finally worked, called in the morning, you have to pre-order lunch by phone, unfortunately it can't be seen on the internet, it's a shame I probably got the last portion when I asked! Arrival friendly welcome, rustic ambience in the 70s style but cozy! Pils came quickly and less than 5 minutes later, the lunch dish today was dressed with Chinese cabbage like savoy cabbage, never eaten like that before and simply brilliant, very tasty potatoes and fried meat sausage, large slices like cold cuts, everything together was really tasty and a good portion! Wonderful home cooking would have eaten two plates! I have to come by in the evening and there are also supposed to be very good steaks! I've eaten fish on Fridays probably 5 times now, and it's great with the wonderful mustard sauce! Greetings from Moers, see you next time!

I almost went to the kebab on the corner because it looked more inviting at first. But then I decided on this great restaurant. The quality of the food is fantastic and the people here are extremely friendly. I would come here again and again. The freshly made lahmacun with minced meat and pomegranate seeds were fantastic. The atmosphere and the way they care about the customers is very nice. We like the doner kebab very much, but the sauce of the doner kebab needs to be improved, it is not like other doner restaurants and it leaves that beautiful doner kebab lacking.

I currently live in Essen, but I grew up near the shop. Since then, the flatbread and the kebab have been the best in the area. When it comes to minced meat kebab, no one can touch it!
