On May 2, 2025, I worked as a DJ at the Sandhorster Krug for the first time since the renovations – and I'm absolutely thrilled! The venue is not only a real visual highlight, but also technically excellently equipped. As a DJ, I particularly appreciate being able to easily connect to the in-house music system. The installed lighting technology is also top-notch – it truly leaves nothing to be desired! The interaction with the service team was smooth and very professional. The food selection was diverse and of high quality. A particularly positive aspect: the buffet was accessible from two sides – so there was hardly any waiting time despite over 80 guests. The wedding I was able to attend was celebrated exuberantly and happily until 3 a.m. – the bride and groom and all guests were completely satisfied. I'm already looking forward to the next celebration at the Sandhorster Krug!

Ordered takeaway and unfortunately the food wasn't good. Definitely expected more for the price!!

A place where you like to go. It would be a shame if it would be over if the current owner can no longer continue it. It is and remains a cult pub.

My training here was a huge disappointment. As the only foreign trainee, I was excluded from the team 😡😡 and left alone with all the hard work. Respect, fairness and humanity? Completely missing. I didn't feel like a colleague, but like a worker who was being taken advantage of.

I've eaten there five times now. Whether it's breakfast, afternoon tea, or dinner, the food is always delicious, but unfortunately, sometimes it gets cold, or something is always forgotten when there are large groups. The service is very poor; plates are left on the table for ages, and drinks aren't refilled, let alone asked for.

A lot of food for €9 per portion. Very tasty food. Unfortunately, there was just not enough sauce for two dishes. Friendly staff.
