Quaint little and authentic restaurant. Very nice landlady. Child and dog friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Food was consistently good. Unfortunately the ice is a medium disaster. What doesn't work at all: Trying to reach someone by phone to make a reservation. Or via this reservation assistant. Absolute no-go. This is not how you win or keep guests

Uwe Weber is a true artist in the kitchen! The best cuisine nationwide - every dish is a delight. Uwe also knows how to respond to various special requests with the usual perfection. Quality has its price, so of course it's not cheap, but if you're looking for a special meal in a beautiful half-timbered ambience, this is the place for you. For those who like something cheaper and simpler, but still of excellent quality, there is Uwe's Burger Shop right next door.

A beautiful atmosphere and very attentive employees. Even the manager is not above welcoming the guests and the food was absolutely amazing.

I had the pleasure of eating at Restaurant Lava in Usingen for work and it was an all around great experience! The two hosts, Tarik and Ömer, are incredibly friendly and personable - you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. I found it particularly nice that you can watch the tennis players while you eat. The food was simply outstanding – fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. I can really recommend the restaurant to everyone and will definitely come back. A completely successful visit!

Starter: Beetroot carpaccio - goat cheese good, not very good. Salad too. Unfortunately very little beetroot, a bit weak but well crafted. Main course: Green sauce - very weak, schnitzel on the other hand good - but not very good. Fried potatoes really good. Side salad drowned in vinegar, a shame. 🍔 wildburger: the ingredients don't match, the patty is too dry, but the taste could definitely be going in the right direction. Game meat content good, spices good. Ingredients in the burger are generally quite high quality, there is definitely potential here. Cranberry? Unfortunately, if it doesn't fit into the taste, it doesn't become a relevant part of the mouthfeel - it's a shame that points are wasted. Fries good. Waited a little long but not worth mentioning - unfortunately a drink order went missing, that can happen. Service was otherwise generally very nice and seating was particularly good.

At the beginning of November we were able to sit here in the sun. Fantastic!

Good food, friendly and fast service. Tribal meal for 14.90: Soup or salad and a drink with the main course. Wednesday is schnitzel day.
