Essen wir drei Erwachsene und ein Kind, bei maximal 20% Auslastung… eine scheinbar massive Überforderung Zuerst wird für das Kind der Ketchup vergessen, wer glaubt das ist nur ein kleines Problem… der hat kein Kind . Während der nächsten 20 Minuten gab es keinen Ketchup, dann waren die Pommes und Chicken Nuggets kalt. Ok passiert Dann Nachtisch und Kaffe bestellt, Bedienung musste erst noch das Bestelltablet holen, dann wurde die Bestellung aufgenommen. 30 Minuten später, die Frage wo unser Essen bleibt… oh es wurde vergessen Dann wollten wir zahlen, getrennt… auch das eine Herausforderung Trinkgeld gab’s nicht, und eine Empfehlung kann man für den Laden auch nicht geben

Essen prima, Preis-Leistung angemessen, leider etwas längere Wartezeit, Grund wurde aber erklärt - somit verziehen.

Wir waren heute zum entspannen am See. Mittagessen ist Pflicht in dem tollen Lokal. Kellner/Besitzer super nett und das Essen erst. Wir hatten smashed Burger und Burrata Salat. Super lecker. Vielen Dank 😍

Idyllische Lage.... und was für eine tolle Küche! Alles hausgemacht und sooooo gut. (Für uns gab es Leberkäs mit Spiegelei und mit Bratkartoffeln und Zwiebelsuppe....)

Ich wollte mich mit Freunden zusammensetzen und in Ruhe ein Bier trinken, aber das Personal war unhöflich und unfreundlich und hat uns praktisch rausgeschmissen, weil wir uns nur unterhalten haben, obwohl das Restaurant völlig leer war.

Wir waren vergangene Woche zu 2. zum Mittagessen dort und haben draußen gesessen. Wir hatten Spargel und einen Burger bestellt. Nachdem wir beinahe eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet hatten, fragte ich den Kellner nach dessen Verbleib. Er fragte nach und sagte mir dann, dass noch 3 Essen vor unseren serviert werden würden. Nachdem gut 15 andere Speisen serviert wurden sprach ich einen anderen Kellner an, da unserer nicht mehr auffindbar war. Er wollte nachfragen, kam danach aber nicht mehr zurück. Er war auch nirgends mehr zu sehen. Als beinahe 1,5std vergange waren, wollten wir nicht mehr warten. Ich ging hinein, bezahlte die Getränke und wir mussten hungrig weiterziehen. Weder wurde uns eine Wiedergutmachung angeboten noch hat sich jemand bei uns entschuldigt. Den ganzen Vorfall finde ich einfach nur unglaublich peinlich. Es kann ja mal etwas vergessen werden, sowas passiert. Aber zu behaupten, dass unser Essen nach x Speisen kommt und uns damit anzulügen geht einfach nicht. Es ist nicht nur das vergesse Essen, was so traurig an dem Besuch war. Es ist das ganze drumherum. Kein Entgegenkommen, nichtmal eine Entschuldigung. Das ganze scheinte keinen der Kellner interessiert zu haben. Niemand zeigte sich betroffen. Soetwas habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Das war mit Abstand der schlimmste Restaurantbesuch meines Lebens.

Einfaches Restaurant mit herrlicher Terrasse. Toller Ausblick auf den See. Die Bedienung ist zwar sehr nett und bemüht, jedoch ziemlich konfus. Das Essen war nicht zufriedenstellend. Scheint nicht frisch gekocht zu sein. Falls doch - schmeckt man es jedenfalls nicht so. Außerdem: sowohl meine Frau als auch ich mussten die Pommes/Bratkartoffeln auf unseren Tellern eher suchen als dass sie hätten als Sättigungsbeilage durchgehen können.

Nach einem Spaziergang kehrten wir in dieses Lokal ein. Leider waren wir (4 Personen, 2 Hunde) sehr enttäuscht. Bedienung war sehr konfus,liefen wie ausgescheuchte Hühner zwischen den Tischen umher. Es dauerte sehr lange,um überhaupt eine Bestellung aufzugeben und dann dauerte es noch mal so lange eh die Bestellung am Tisch war. Kaffee kam zuerst,der wurde kalt,bevor endlich der Kuchen kam. Kuchen ist TK Ware. Kaiserschmarrn sollte angeblich frisch sein.(muss man so glauben.)

Bis vor Corona gingen wir sehr gerne dort essen und haben auch Familienfeiern dort verbracht. Das Essen ist nach wie vor lecker. Leider gab es heute einen Engpass mit dem Servicepersonal. Mit 2 bzw 3 Personen kann man den Service im Lokal und im Biergarten nicht aufrechterhalten. Zudem wurde dann auch das falsche Essen zum Tisch gebracht. Wir verzichteten dann auf das zweite Gericht, was sehr schade war. Vielleicht spielt sich der Service noch ein

Wir waren am Ende eines Ausflugs kurz dort. Leider etwas zu früh; die Küche öffnete erst um 17 h. So hatten wir nur einen Kaffee auf der Terrasse. Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage am Rand von Usingen, direkt an einem kleinen Badeteich. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Wartezeit sehr lange. Das Essen lauwarm, die Portion klein ( Lende mit Püree) und das bei halbvollem Lokal.

Die Neueröffnung mit einem neuen Pächter finden wir gelungen, es wird sich sehr bemüht und zu den Gästen ein guter Kontakt hergestellt. Seit Jahren war das Ständige auf und ab , kein Zustand.Das Restaurant liegt nun mal an dem viel besuchten Hattsteinweiher angrenzend die Wanderwege die gern genutzt werden. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar und öfters gibt es noch ein Tagesgericht auf Empfehlung. Geplant werden Events mit live Musik 🎶. Neues Glück ,neu Chance .... Seit November 25 ein neues Team in der Küche.

A lovely beer garden overlooking the Hattsteinweiher pond. The menu was clear and concise, and the waiter was friendly. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. A short walk around the pond before or after your meal was wonderful! This place deserves more customers, especially outside of the summer season. It would be a real shame if it were to close again.

We were here with our campervan. There's a free campervan spot on the lawn near the snack bar/restaurant/beer garden. The swimming lake is nice and busy. The public restrooms are a plus. The snack bar is quick and friendly. They don't have everything in stock, which is a shame. The salad is tasty but very watery. There's also a restaurant next door, but it's not clearly signposted, which is also a shame. The ice creams at the snack counter are cheap and delicious.

The food is average, the service very friendly. Personally, I don't find the ambiance that great, but then again, it's a restaurant by a lake with a campsite.

The location, right by the lake, is the only good thing here. Unmotivated service; one dish was suddenly unavailable after ordering, and there were hairs in two dishes. The food itself is delicious.

We arrived at Seecafé Miro around 11:15 a.m., during the official opening hours (from 11:15 a.m.) – but the owners were still busy with breakfast. The beer garden only opened after we informed them. So, the first impression was already a bit rocky. The waitress took our order wearing sweatpants and flip-flops – it didn't seem very professional. The tables were unloved – no decorations or details that would create an inviting atmosphere. I had a farmer's sausage with fries – unfortunately, it was absolutely inedible. The sausage was neither fried nor warm, but cold and covered in a dried-up ready-made sauce. My friend had the Kaiserschmarrn, which she at least enjoyed. Overall, it was a disappointing experience: Neither the food nor the service were convincing. It's a shame, because with the great beer garden, the restaurant really had a lot of potential.

A great day-trip restaurant right on the Hattsteinweiher lake. The food is fresh and delicious. In summer, you can sit on the large terrace overlooking the small beach.

6:10 PM We try a new restaurant. Sitting outside, tables OK, rustic ambiance, capacity at the time, max. 10 people. After 5 minutes, I look inside to see if they're serving or self-service. A very young waiter walks past us without saying a word. After another 10 minutes, I go back inside and order from the manager. After placing my order, I was asked where we were sitting. Outside was my reply. Manager, I'll be right out. Not with the drinks. We'll reorder! They're brought promptly. Two dirty water glasses are placed in front of us. Buzz, the young waiter is gone again. We politely point out the glasses to the waiter. Waiter, yes, that's possible. One glass is taken away, but no new one is brought. We order our food. Small salad, red and white fries. After 5 minutes, it arrives. The waiter disappears very quickly again. Small salad, fries without red and white. Cutlery at the table for 6 was just enough for 2 people in a cup, no napkins. I asked for mayo and ketchup, thinking it would come later. After another 5 minutes, I got up and asked the manager for mayo and ketchup, visibly annoyed; he was playing on his phone. After another 5 minutes, my companion went in, and shortly afterwards a waitress came out with mayo and ketchup. My companion pointed out to her that it was taking a while, as the fries had gotten cold in the meantime. I could have eaten them all in that time (15 minutes), without mayo and ketchup, of course. Waitress, no problem answering. True, not for her. At the same time, a parasol was opened behind us, with the help of the guest, since the young waiter couldn't do it alone. After the parasol was opened, the manager yelled from a distance, "It's broken." Then my companion started laughing and said that nothing was happening here. Service, order, dirty glasses. Wow, the manager suddenly woke up, came to our table, and said we could leave if we didn't like it. Yes, we were happy to, and we left. Thanks for 45 minutes of the best service. 1 point for the location

So what's wrong with your staff? We ordered drinks and a Kaiserschmarrn. We asked three people several times (at least four times) why the guests after us had gotten the Kaiserschmarrn, while we still hadn't after 50 minutes. One referred us to the next person, while two of your employees stood in front of us with water, beer, and other drinks, mistakenly trying to bring us these, even though we hadn't ordered them. In the end, we were so annoyed that we wanted to pay, of course without the Kaiserschmarrn, since it was supposedly never ordered. In the end, they said: If it's already been prepared, then of course we have to pay for it! What??? I guess the staff needs to be put in their place, given their claims and ignorance, and then their rude behavior. Very disappointing.

The service is too slow! I don't recommend it! Especially if you're a tourist!

We spontaneously went to the garden this Tuesday evening, with a stunning view of the Hattsteinweiher pond. The sundowner is indescribable. You can forget the world around you for a brief moment. The chef was personally in charge of serving food. And he did a great job. We felt very welcome and comfortable. It was quite busy for a Tuesday, and everyone around us was also very satisfied, from what we heard. We had rösti with smoked salmon for starters and two steaks for the main course. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Kudos to the kitchen. Keep up the good work. We'll be back 🤩

We were so disappointed yesterday – I gave honest feedback to the waitress. All she got was "okay." When I look at the pictures from three weeks ago, I wonder even more what we got. Relatively small schnitzels, fries were so wide, and the salad didn't even come with any dressing. Aside from the size (a normal-sized schnitzel would only be a small one), the taste unfortunately didn't justify the price either. Therefore, two stars only because at least the food came quickly. We probably won't go there again. Too bad, because our constructive feedback was also followed by "just a monosyllabic okay."

We went there spontaneously and only discovered it through a voucher book that advertised it as an insider tip. The restaurant is located on a swimming lake in an idyllic setting. The outdoor area is very cozy and beautifully designed. Unfortunately, it rained while we were there. The interior hasn't been updated since the 70s/80s. About the food and service: The food tasted really good. The fish and meat were well-cooked and delicious. For our child, we ordered pasta (without sauce) with a little Parmesan. Unfortunately, the pasta was completely greasy. We also saw on the bill that this small portion cost €6.90. We found that quite unfair considering it was no more than 150 grams and there was only a hint of Parmesan on it. Prices in general are quite high. We didn't expect that for a lakeside restaurant in Usingen. Both main courses were just under €25 each. The service was a bit unmotivated and not entirely focused. There's definitely room for improvement. We've been there just once and probably won't be back again.

We've loved coming to Hatsteinweiher for many years and enjoying the natural surroundings. We think it's simply wonderful that there's a small restaurant where you can find good, delicious food. It's down-to-earth and not too expensive. It fits perfectly here. It's pleasant to sit on the terrace. And we received very friendly service.

We went to the Hattsteinweiher quite spontaneously and luckily got a table. It took a while until we were served, as was the food and drinks. Cutlery was placed on the table in the middle, no napkins. We asked for sauces for the fries, they forgot. Also a salad with the schnitzel. A schnitzel was subsequently ordered, which was followed by an annoyed look and the lady left the table without comment. We waited another 20 minutes for the bill and were said goodbye with the words “make a reservation next time”. Overall poor service. Food was okay.

It's been a long time since we've been to the former Neumann restaurant at Hattsteinweiher. It has been called “Miró” for a year and is run by Kurdish restaurateurs. We were served very friendly. The food came quickly. First a green mixed side salad (see photos) and then the Argentinian rump steak (see photos) which was really very good. The French fries were cross-fried and not fried in old fat, but in fresh oil. The side salad was also very fresh and dressed with a nice dressing. There was also herb butter with the rump steak. To drink we ordered the light Bavarian light beer from the tap, which was really great and we each drank 1 liter per person. 🍺All in all a successful evening. We'd love to come back. The ambience could be changed or made nicer. The seating and tables are very simple and old, just like they used to be. A lot of things would have to be renewed here, but this would require a lot of investment and cost. There would also be more options for decoration. But you make an effort with a fresh rose in the vase on the table. Opening times 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday even continuously from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We ate there for the first time at the weekend. The service was very courteous, the starter and the main menu were prepared quickly. We each had a schnitzel. The salad was super tasty and fresh, the schnitzel was large and the fries were on point. The prices are a bit higher, but you get full and the portions are large. We'd love to come back.

The food was okay, the prices are okay too. What struck us as very negative was the way the boss dealt with the service staff. A young girl tried very hard to make the service good and correct, but was still a bit unsure, which we didn't think was a bad thing. She then served the wrong food at the next table, whereupon the boss cut her down in front of all the guests. And that twice. He let her come to the table and treated her very badly. Something like that is not appropriate, and especially not in front of the guests! To the friendly service: we found your service good.

Addendum: we wanted to visit the restaurant for coffee and cake on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025. Today we also found out about the change of tenant. It's a shame, there was only apple strudel and another incomprehensible variety. At Neumanns there were always delicious different types of cakes and tarts. If you read the reviews about the food, it's a shame for the beautiful restaurant. By the way, we enjoyed our wedding coffee and dinner here 40 years ago. Back then with Peter Mayer. We once again enjoyed the good cuisine. Service and good food are good here. Tip: If you want to have lunch here, please avoid breakfast at home.

Two restaurants in one building. One serves traditional German food, and the other serves hamburgers. If the menu doesn't offer what you're looking for, the waitress will happily bring you something from the other menu. Beautifully situated by the lake, unfortunately, the view is obstructed by the fence and hedges. But the food is excellent, and after a day of swimming or hiking, there's nothing better.

Went there spontaneously on Friday afternoon. Food and service absolutely impeccable, very attentive and friendly. I have no idea who has to write “you” instead of “you”, I can’t understand. Also difficult to explain is the review that describes a supposedly unfounded expulsion. If someone exercises their domicile rights, there is definitely a history. It's a shame the critic didn't write anything about it. Such reviews are no help. Basically, they only document the very limited view of the respective authors.

Einfach spontan Freitag mittag mal hingegangen. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Betreuung, der Beilagensalat kam prompt, knapp eine Minute nach den Getränken. Beide Schnitzel waren frisch ausgebacken, die Champignon Rahmsoße mit frisch angerösteten Champignons (keine Convenience!) Die Ansprache kam ausschließlich per Sie - Ich kann die betreffenden Kritiken früherer Zeiten nicht nachvollziehen - und blieb aufmerksam und trotzdem unaufdringlich. Sehr gut! Wer auch immer den Anspruch hatte, alles habe mit 100% Perfektion und ohne Kompromissbereitschaft sofort nach seinen Vorstellungen zu geschehen, vergisst, dass frische Küche ihre Zeit braucht und überall, also auch dort, Menschen arbeiten. Da menschelt es eben auch. Ich finde das gut. Dem Bericht des Wirtes nach gab es wohl jemanden, der diese Meinung nicht teilt.

There were three of us there today - without any great expectations. However, we were surprised, everyone was very nice and accommodating! The food, in this case schnitzel with fries and salad, was delicious. I haven't had such delicious schnitzels in a long time. Definitely a clear recommendation from us 👍 We'll be back. Visited under the new tenant: We moved to Usingen and had dinner there. The service was attentive and quick. The small menu also gave hope for freshness and quality. When the schnitzels appeared in front of us after a short time, the enthusiasm was gone. These were cheap ready-made schnitzels, some of which weren't cooked properly, the fries weren't cooked through either and there was a dead fly in the salad (it can happen, but it shouldn't) The price is not at all appropriate for the quality of the food. We won't be coming here again.

Were there on August 10, 2024, and apart from the uncomfortable seating outside, we can't say anything negative. The service was very friendly and attentive. The tables outside are clean, as are the inside and the sanitary areas. It was busy due to the really nice weather, but the service was really good. We can recommend this place.

We would have liked to visit you, but the security service wanted to collect five euros from us, even though we didn't come to swim and mentioned that. So we went somewhere else where I don't have to pay an extra five euros to visit an inn. So I can't say about the food, the 3 stars are for the location.

Nice service, but when the cards are handed out it could be said that there are other dishes that are not written down anywhere, not only when ordering. Unfortunately, food is not recommended. Farmer's sausage didn't taste good and came with an inedible sauce. Handkäs not yet cooked through and served with margarine and vinegar essence (no joke, 4 people tried it). Schnitzel TK nothing special but ok. Unfortunately, criticism after paying was rejected and said it couldn't be that something didn't taste good. I hope something changes with the new owners because the place is beautiful!

Service and food are clearly designed for quantity and not for class. But not a problem for the location. If you want to have a drink in a cozy beer garden, this is the right place for you. If you want to have a nice, good meal, you should look for an alternative.

It's just an outrage that you pay €7 for a currywurst with fries and then an undercooked sausage and this sausage didn't even have curry sauce even though I had bought a currywurst! Now let's come to the fries: The fries were still salted, full of fat and partly still frozen on the inside and the ketchup that came with them only tasted like vinegar. So all in all it was an outrage: the employees were stressed and this was also passed on to the customers, the food was of poor quality and didn't taste good, the sausage wasn't cut and there was no curry sauce with it and finally everything looks very shabby came from :( If I had to describe it in school grades it would be a 6!!

Of course we were expecting something more and more appetizing. I have the impression that the schnitzel was made from frozen meat as it had a refrigerator smell. The salad, as you can see for yourself, was presented in such a way that it did not whet one's appetite. The first two photos show the ice cream - what it was supposed to be and what was actually served - these are two completely different things. A year ago the schnitzel covered half of the plate, now it only covers a quarter.

Super nice restaurant! The owner was very attentive and accommodating and the food was really tasty! You can sit wonderfully outside and inside with a view of the small pond. Small note: The internet is really not good there, which is why paying by card is difficult, so it's best to take cash with you.

Unfortunately, after the change of operator, the size of the portions has decreased. The quality is okay, but nothing more. Because of the weather we had to sit inside. Unfortunately the tables weren't really inviting. Dirty tablecloths and greasy, greasy salt and pepper shakers. The napkins placed there don't help either. The menu was very worn and unfortunately dirty. Some things very much need improvement. I used to enjoy coming here regularly. I'm excited to see how it develops.

We had a wonderful meal at Miro's today. PRAISE DRR KITCHEN

The surroundings are of course fantastic! The restaurant still has the ?old? Name Neumann, according to the flyer it should now be called Miro. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is rather below average, tastes more like frozen foods and ready-made sauces and is rather carelessly prepared. For example, the schnitzel is full of fat and the breading is boring and very compact. The service is chaotic and seems disorganized. Hopefully something will happen here!

I was there on Thursday lunchtime, in the beer garden with a view of the lake/or pond:-), the food was very tasty, I really liked the raspberry lemonade and the service was phenomenal and very, very nice, value for money, there's nothing to complain about, I'll come gladly again.

Very nice restaurant with very good food. Nice view of the pond. In terms of price performance, the restaurant isn't exactly the best, as the prices are rather high. However, you have to say that you really get great service, with a very friendly host. If you want to spend a little more money, I can only recommend the restaurant.
