Very family atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening with a culinary journey at its best. With heart and attention to detail - with a sensational sense of flavor and seasonal ingredients used! Absolutely recommended!

Pure feel-good aroma with a very nice approach We stayed in this cozy country inn for six days in June 2021. Mr. Jahn is a host with heart and soul, humor, heart and empathy, and so are his employees - always attentive, always ready to respond to requests and always very, very nice. We felt completely comfortable. Good traditional Rhön cuisine plus a selection of unusual, delicious burgers. The rich breakfast was prepared individually for each guest every morning - simply great! The rooms are cozy, bright and furnished with loving details. You can endure it very well here. There are always parking spaces and we are already looking forward to the whiskey barn that is still planned. It wasn't the last time we were here.

We had a very good dinner here. The “beetroot medallions” are a great example of a delicious meal without meat. The regional Jacobinus monastery beer goes well with this.

My lamb was very tender and at the right eating temperature. The extensive menu overwhelmed me personally. The service is very accommodating, for example their chairs are very uncomfortable for my back. I was immediately given a pillow to support when I asked.

A very nice restaurant, comfortably furnished, but also has a beautiful terrace with a wonderful view. We recently went there for the goose buffet and we can only recommend it. The service staff is very friendly and attentive.

Everything is very tasty 🤗 but for me the portions are too big.

We ate very tasty trout (of course) and were served nicely. They were happy to explain to us that you should pre-order because this ensures that enough fresh fish are taken from the pond, but we were lucky even without pre-ordering. The ambience is very old, hence only 3 stars. Delicious food at a reasonable price, we can recommend the Forellenhof. M

Very bad hotel that doesn't deserve the name! Unfriendly staff! The room was a catastrophe and there were cobwebs and spiders everywhere. When I asked the reception if they could get rid of it, the only answer was that there was no one left to do it! The bed was so uncomfortable, there was a wooden board under the mattress, whatever that was used for, the bed linen was dirty, the TV was broken and the toilet didn't flush either! In my opinion too overpriced for 140 euros a night! The food didn't taste good either! The only positive thing is the breakfast! !

The climb on foot is quite strenuous. But once you reach the top, you'll be treated to a fantastic view of the valley. The restaurant is very cozy and clean. The terrace is also very nice. Friendly and attentive service. You can also find something here to satisfy your small appetite. Definitely recommend zi.
