Hotel Restaurant LR6 in Bad Sooden-Allendorf

EVERYTHING was perfect at this hotel. The varied breakfast was particularly good; it left nothing to be desired. The hosts were very friendly. We can definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again.

A lovely place to unwind. Also easily accessible by train.

I came here for the schnitzel. I thought they were the best in town. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. The sauce was overly seasoned in places. The schnitzels seemed like they'd been warmed over. I'd give the Madagascar schnitzel plate a 3- at best. Otherwise, it was cozy.

Good food also for vegetarians, nice interior, individual and the pictures in the washroom make you smile

We only ate in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. It was a cozy, somewhat secluded restaurant, a few meters away from the hustle and bustle. The food was also very tasty. It was difficult to choose something from the menu; everything sounded delicious.

I went there for the first time on Sunday and I'm absolutely thrilled! Very friendly service, nice outdoor seating, and above all, delicious vegan food! Unfortunately, there are only 4 dishes on the menu so far, but they're super delicious! To all of you vegans, please go there! You can choose from vegan schnitzel (soy-based, but you can't really taste the flavor - for those who don't like soy, try it anyway), salad (it could use more dressing, otherwise it's great 👍🏻), beetroot medallions, and I had curry schnitzel! So delicious. Beforehand, I had a salad and white bread with a delicious tomato dip. To the team at this restaurant: in the future, a vegan yogurt dressing for the salad would be great, and maybe you could offer a different salad bowl: with croutons, pulses like chickpeas, bell peppers, maybe vegan feta, pumpkin seeds, etc. I'm pretty sure it would sell well! ;) In any case, thank you so much! Especially for being open to vegan food and having it on your menu. Absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely be back!

A very nice, lovingly family-run hotel. A classic menu with local specialties, all deliciously prepared. We particularly enjoyed the soups. And after dinner, whisky lovers will definitely be pleased with the extensive selection, including some specialties. A highly recommended hotel; we certainly felt very comfortable.

Good German food! It was delicious. Since the restaurant is on a side street, it's not too busy and you can sit outside.

Incredibly delicious schnitzels, even for those with a very large appetite. Add to that friendly service and a lovely atmosphere with a view of the half-timbered houses. Sometimes it's worth taking a look at the restaurants a little further away.

We had dinner today at the LR6 restaurant. The owner friendly and helpful. The food is simply excellent. The goose and lamb including side dishes are simply excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We had a very good dinner here. The beetroot medallions are a great example of a delicious meat-free meal. The regional Jacobinus monastery beer goes perfectly with it.

We went hiking and swimming with our Labrador dog in and around Bad Sooden-Allendorf and had a very quiet room with a large terrace here in the LR6. Also ideal for our dog. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help or provide information. We also found the directions given in advance very helpful. We have often had negative experiences with this; if the address provided cannot be accessed by car. Here too, the parking space is not identical to the address. It is located right at the back of the hotel and is easy to navigate. The double room is inexpensive for the very good facilities. There is also a small hallway through which you can access the very spacious bathroom. The breakfast buffet wasn't opulent, but it was also very inexpensive. We'd love to come back.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights at the end of July with an arrangement. We were thrilled, the food was very good. Our room was also great. Service in the restaurant was very attentive and friendly. The candlelight dinner on the last evening was a blast, the table was beautifully arranged and the 4-course menu was great. We will come back in any case.

We were there for dinner with several people on July 7th, 2024. We had lamb, salmon and schnitzel in various variations. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The fries and breading of the schnitzel were nice and crispy. The service was friendly and attentive. A wine that had apparently been open for a long time was brought back without any problems. Bread with greaves was served beforehand. Each dish came with a small mixed salad. When we asked, we were also given bread. The ambience is a matter of taste. The pasta with the salmon was very clear and I would have liked a larger portion. It would also be nice to have a vegetarian version as a dip for the bread. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant and would visit it again.

I had lunch with my wife today. Very friendly service, very good menu selection. My steak was on point, very tender and tasty. The pork medallions my wife had were also very tender and tasty. I'm not a salad eater, but the salad that comes with the dishes is simply amazing. The prices are absolutely moderate for what is on offer. If it wasn't 170 km away, I would stop there more often.

I was visiting my husband for a weekend who is in rehab in Bad Sooden Allendorf and I had a nice single room which even had a small refrigerator and a place to make coffee. For breakfast there were freshly prepared egg dishes and cappuccino was no problem either It is very centrally located near the spa park, I was able to park for free behind the house. The dinner in the restaurant was very good, I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent and extensive menu when it comes to schnitzel and steak. We recommend. Very friendly service. As a rehab patient in BSA, the LR6 is a welcome addition to the taste.

Zum Hotel kann ich nichts sagen, da ich (bisher) nie dort übernachtet habe... Aber das Restaurant ist einfach Spitze: sehr leckeres Essen - insbesondere die Steaks - und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Sonerwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Vielleicht sollte sich der Service etwas mehr Zeit lassen, damit man das Essen auch richtig genießen kann.

Wir haben dort mehr die gut bürgerliche Küche genossen. Sehr leckeres Zwickelbier und super nette Besitzerin.

Hervorragendes Restaurant, die Speisekarte bietet viele Wünsche zudem gibt es eine große Auswahl an Single Malts. Die Preise sind angemessen und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Einen Besuch kann ich nur empfehlen.

Sehr interessante vegetarische Gerichte. Wer all der Fleischgerichte in lokalen Restaurants müde ist, findet hier wunderbare Alternativen. Probiert die Rote Beete Medaillons!

Ich bin ein leidenschaftlicher Schnitzel Esser. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ein gutes Schnitzel gegessen wie da. Ein großes Lob an die Küche. Wer so ein leckeres Schnitzel machen kann, hat ein Lob mehr als verdient.

Essen war super, nur die Bedienung etwas unfreundlich drauf, an dem Tag, was aber ein Einzelfall war, denn wir waren dort schon öfter essen. Qualität und Location sind gut, wir kommen wieder.

Ludwigs waren jetzt verdientermaßen einige Zeit im Betriebsurlaub; wir hatten tatsächlich ‚Entzugserscheinungen‘ Danke für leckeres Essen und - wie gewohnt - netten Service.

Wir waren am 30.10. zum Abendessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da.

Tolle Wirtin, offen und zugewandt

Wir waren bereits mehrmals vor Ort. Das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr gut. Erfreulich ist auch die Auswahl an veganen Gerichten auf der Karte. Auch ein veganes Dessert war keine Herausforderung für die Küche. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren hier gestern Abend zum Schnitzelessen. Ich hatte das Pfifferlings Schnitzel und war von der Ansicht und der Frische total positiv überrascht. Der Geschmack war hervorragend und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es gab zum Start einen kleinen Schmalz Gruß aus der Küche und darauf folgend einen super frischen Salat. Das Schnitzel war wirklich mega lecker und die Bedienung freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich komme definitiv wieder und werde weitere Speisen probieren. Vielen Dank für das köstliche Erlebnis.

Schon zu Pfingsten haben wir auf Empfehlung unserer Pension, die Schnitzelkarte rauf und runter getestet. Schnelle superbe Küche, das Highlight vor Ort Souveräne fixe Bedienung. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Immer noch unser Stamm-Lokal. Sehr, sehr, sehr lecker... Das betrifft nicht nur die Schnitzel.......
