Die besten Restaurants mit Restaurant Essen in Bad Arolsen

We ate at Schäfer's last night with six people and are still thrilled. A small, very fine menu with seasonal products, very well composed in terms of taste. There is also a large, well-organized drinks menu. The ambience is very pleasant and stylish. We were looked after calmly and very friendly by the staff. An all around wonderful evening! We'll be back.

Awesome establishment to stop and eat amidst a lovely typical german village. The food was reasonably priced, varied and, most of all, delicious. P.S. : If you wish to have the traditional turkish dessert, be sure to ask in advance as it takes almost an hour to prepare.

Unfortunately closed again, even though we were there during the opening times according to Google and Facebook. Update January 28th closed again, whether it should be open according to Google...

Food great, otherwise getting old

We got a table for 9 people at very short notice. Yes it was near the door and a spot in front of the dessert fridge. But we all had very tasty food, whether it was scampi, steak, bruschetta or pizza, it was all super tasty. The person in front of the refrigerator had to briefly bend to the side twice during our stay. So I don't think it's that bad, considering we didn't reserve the table until lunchtime. The service was really great. Drinks were requested directly and brought quickly. Then we had a special order, a main course modified as an appetizer for 2 people. Unbelievable, it worked great, even on two plates without us saying so. So if you value service and taste, you've come to the right place. And as if that wasn't enough, there are even gluten-free dishes.

I ordered a small farmer's salad. When asked if with olives, the answer was "Gladly". When I picked it up I had to pay 6.50 instead of 6€, but this wasn't mentioned. When I got home, I noticed that there was hardly any cheese on the salad. The quality was significantly better with the previous owner (which also applies to a previously ordered chicken burger). Olives and a fair amount of cheese were a given. Too bad.

The quality of the food and preparation are above average. Kudos to the kitchen! The ambience in the old walls is something very special.
