Pool in Bad Arolsen

A very lovely restaurant that truly impresses with its cozy atmosphere and delicious food. There were three of us, and we enjoyed excellent service. The owner took the time to share some of the history of the building. Firewood was stacked in the fireplace, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. It's clear that the food is still cooked by the owner's mother, and you can taste it in the loving presentation and flavor of the dishes. The decor is well-chosen and offers ample space for larger celebrations. Thank you to the owner and the chef! ...we'll definitely be back.

Permanently closed due to death!

One of the last "pubs" run by Bernd and Christiane. A visit brings back memories, and time seems to stand still. However you want to interpret it! It's still very emotional for me. Thank you to them both.

We've been regular customers for almost 30 years and are always extremely satisfied. The food is always delicious, the owners are very friendly, and the service is excellent. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

My birthday at Die Wetterburg was a true experience! The restaurant is located in an old inn – thick walls, rustic wooden beams, and a warm, almost medieval atmosphere. This makes the evening so special. The food is regional and creative: "Gespenstergeflüster," "Ratsherrenpfanne," "Wetterburger Bräutigam," and "Baron Padberg" – all of the names are truly a highlight, and delicious and highly recommended! Yes, we had to wait a bit because the waitress was alone – but no problem, because she was incredibly welcoming. Lilly, our furry friend, was also warmly welcomed. 🐾 Finest enjoyment in a house full of character. We'd go back anytime!
