We went to Jaartn for breakfast/brunch for the first time in December. It was a dream ;) the food, the drinks were simply great! The owners are super nice and kept asking if everything was okay or if something was missing. The food was prepared with so much love and thought, so many small, delicate details and bowls filled with delicacies. You could choose between "normal", vegetarian or vegan - amazing!!! The table was beautifully arranged and we immediately felt at home. Really a little insider tip!!! The mulled wine (with alcohol) and the apple punch (without alcohol) are very tasty and we can also highly recommend it (it's best to pack a thermal mug for the way home, which you can still feel). Thank you very much to you!!!

I waited about an hour for the waitress to come over. All local guests were served before me, even though they came after me. I don't recommend it

The visit to IKEA was a complete disappointment. Customers are discriminated against and faced with extremely poor service. The quality of the products is terrible - everything seems to be designed for maximum profits with minimum quality. IKEA deceives its customers with clever marketing, but the reality is different. The food has been bad for a long time, the products seem careless and cheaply produced. Anyone who buys here basically has themselves to blame. The toilets were dirty and smelled of urine, which made the whole shopping experience even more unpleasant. When I complained about these conditions, I was not only treated badly, but also discriminated against and blamed. Everything IKEA does seems to be aimed at deception and whitewashing. This store is definitely dead for me. A clear non-recommendation.

Went to the furniture store today (Saturday) and bought a table from the exhibition. They were unable to pack the table so we could take it with us. We have to drive back again in the week to be able to pick up the table, which will hopefully be well packed. Rather bad for such a big house.

A few years ago, Widynski & Roick were a significant improvement in quality compared to the previous provider. Much of this has decreased significantly, although there are also significant differences within the 3 locations at BER. Portions are significantly smaller, the pre-order system does not bring any benefits for anyone who is not directly employed by FBB. From October 14th, 2024, prices will be increased by an OUTRAGEOUS 78%, almost doubled. Thanks, but now I've reached the point where I won't play this game anymore. I regret it very much because I actually really appreciate the lunch break in the canteen and the networking with other areas there. But what is too much is too much.

The atmosphere there is cozy, friendly and brings a piece of Cologne tradition to the capital region. Particularly noteworthy is the Kölsch tray with 11 glasses of 0.2l each. Not only is it an eye-catcher, it also creates the perfect sense of community. Whether as a couple or in a larger group – a tray of Kölsch and the holiday can begin! We often treat ourselves to a portion of heaven and earth – hearty, hearty and simply delicious. The combination of mashed potatoes, applesauce and black pudding is typically Cologne and tastes almost like in a brewery in Cologne at BER. The service is always attentive and in a good mood. Even when it's busy, you feel welcome and well looked after. For us, visiting the Permanent Representation has become an integral part of our holiday tradition. It's the perfect start to relaxing days - with a little piece of home feeling right at the airport. Conclusion: Anyone flying out of BER should not miss the opportunity to enjoy a Kölsch. Absolute recommendation for everyone who appreciates conviviality and Cologne cuisine!
