Not recommended – customer service calls customers "disrespectful." A very disappointing experience with Höffner. I had a delivery appointment today for a box spring bed, which was already two weeks late. According to the delivery agreement, the shipping company was supposed to call one hour before arrival. Since I had to get home from work, I called customer service twice that same day to explicitly confirm this. Despite this, I received a call from the shipping company informing me that they would be there in 10 minutes. The drivers later told me that this information had not been passed on by customer service. The subsequent contact with customer service was extremely disappointing. The employee was rude, barely let me finish speaking, and blamed me for the situation. The only solution offered was a new delivery date – without specifying when that would be. In the end, the delivery driver himself (not customer service!) solved the problem by reorganizing the delivery and arriving an hour later. I am very grateful to him for that. After the delivery, I informed customer service again that the shipping company had resolved the issue. I was then told that my feedback/review was "not helpful." During the ensuing conversation, I was called disrespectful and even told: "You're disrespectful, you need to go back to school." That was my first and definitely last experience with Höffner. A company whose customer service speaks to its customers like that deserves no trust.

I ordered a bed online which was delivered defective. The return process was a disaster, with repeated claims that it would be handled directly by the manufacturer in Poland. Höffner consistently shirks responsibility. In the end, I could have ordered the bed directly from the manufacturer in Poland, as Höffner's customer service is nonexistent. They are unreachable by phone for complaints and don't properly address the content of emails. This has been the worst experience I've had buying furniture. Despite my offering to repackage the item with newly purchased materials, we have been waiting for a response regarding pickup since December 11, 2025.

First, he was unenthusiastic, then clueless, then a know-it-all, and then he said, "Oh." Yes... oh, right, we... oh, I see... oh... We only want to spend a four-figure sum there... no problem, another company will get it, and Mr. Krieger wouldn't like that and would be perfectly happy about it. I ordered a coffee machine from the online shop as a birthday present for my mother. We were very surprised to find the packaging had already been opened, the instructions were in tatters, and the machine itself was completely scratched. It's infuriating and utterly incomprehensible how such a well-known company could sell something like this as new. Strange business practices; this will definitely be my first and last order. I naturally returned the machine and bought one elsewhere. At least they didn't try to pass off a used item as my gift. The fact that my complaint was answered with a standardized, generic email containing no apology or anything similar, and simply providing me with the return link, speaks volumes, as does the fact that I only received my refund after following up again.

We wanted to replace our kitchen cabinet doors. The kitchen isn't from Höffner. We were brushed off. They would only deliver the doors to the curb, not install them. What kind of service is that? Well, then they don't need our business. The local kitchen manufacturer is offering to do it for us.

Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review of the service counter and the Click & Collect process. We ordered using Click & Collect. You have to go to the service counter before you can pick up your order. This counter was staffed by only one person, and there were three customers ahead of us. After us, the queue grew to a total of nine customers. The woman at the counter wasn't particularly friendly, but she was also completely on her own. While the sales staff on the shop floor were bored and just irritably gave information, she didn't know how to handle the rush. Firstly, I use Click & Collect to get out quickly, but that's impossible if you have to wait at the service counter for more than 30 minutes. And secondly, why not do it like the competition (separate pick-up counter) or have a second employee on hand as needed? I won't be using Höffner again. The fact that we were given a very friendly send-off at the checkout doesn't make up for it.

We visited Höffner Furniture a few months ago and were able to plan a kitchen thanks to a spontaneous appointment. So far, so good. The delivery date also went ahead as planned. However, while assembling the kitchen, the fitters discovered that the countertops weren't deep or long enough. Since they still need to be replaced, the back panels can't be installed yet. Delivery of the new countertops will take six weeks. Silicone can't be applied to prevent water from getting into the gaps. The cooktop can only be used halfway because the steam on the new wall immediately deposits moisture if the pot is placed too close to the wall. Since a countertop isn't flush with the wall, we have to avoid using the edge as a shelf, as things can fall behind the cabinets and have already fallen. The back panels have been in the way for weeks. We specifically took time off work for the delivery date, but on the morning of the delivery date, we received a call saying the countertops were defective and couldn't be delivered. The next delivery date isn't for another six weeks. We have to take time off again for this. We asked Möbel Höffner about a discount as a token of appreciation for all the inconveniences, including the time off. Möbel Höffner declined. I would have preferred better customer service from such a large company.

Extremely disappointing! I ordered a couch for delivery on December 5th, scheduled between 7 am and 6 pm. Unfortunately, it wasn't delivered, without any prior notice. After complaining via email, I received no apology, only a new delivery date for December 15th (between 7 am and 1 pm), which is impossible for me as a working professional. When I inquired about a different date, I received an automated email with a delivery date of February 2nd, 2026! I find this absolutely outrageous and disrespectful. There was no apology, and customer service was incredibly inflexible. I expect significantly more professionalism and customer focus. I would not recommend this company if you rely on a dependable delivery service!

I was there again today after a long time. I always enjoy it. The staff is friendly, and I found what I was looking for again – a lowboard at a good price. I've bought several things there over the years. What I also really liked was the small restaurant on the first floor. I didn't eat there, it was only 11 am, but I did have a cappuccino. The prices are quite reasonable, too.

Unfortunately, I haven't received a response from Höffner to this day, even though they received my complaint. Since this isn't the only problem I've had with Möbel Höffner, I'll simply deduct my discount myself from the purchase price when I transfer the money. Let's see if they're still so unresponsive then. In any case, their customer service is anything but "customer service" and doesn't deserve the name.

Höffner Waltersdorf is like a terrible government office. Everyone's in a bad mood, nobody knows anything, and everyone's telling you something different. Multiple trips to pick up orders due to incorrect information from the store or items not being available are apparently considered perfectly normal. The worst part is the pickup area, where they roll your order in secured baskets to your feet without a word, and you have to dismantle them yourself to get to your items. Never again.

We are unfortunately very dissatisfied with our experience at Höffner Waltersdorf. We recently bought a large kitchen and afterwards wanted to take a look at a Jette Joop sofa that we had seen advertised and really liked. The saleswoman's advice was truly excellent – ​​very friendly, dedicated, and helpful. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for that. However, everything that followed was disappointing: Although there is a color chart and the sofa appears to be freely configurable online, in the store it is more or less only available as it is displayed. Even a minimal reduction in size would have almost doubled the price. The "Old Gold" color, which was visible and presented as an option in the store, is also supposedly unavailable – unless you pay almost double the price. That a small adjustment or color choice involves such a high surcharge seems completely unfriendly to us. We find this particularly disappointing given that we just invested a significant amount of money in a kitchen and had actually planned to furnish our new home further at Höffner. Unfortunately, this experience completely put us off. The saleswoman really tried everything and spoke to several supervisors on the phone – it definitely wasn't her fault. It's a shame that Höffner offered no compensation whatsoever.

I ordered furniture online from Höffner and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience! The delivered goods did not match the ordered configuration, making the sofas unusable for us initially. For weeks, no one was reachable by phone, and we received only automated replies to several emails. For three weeks, there was absolutely no progress. Since we received no response, we finally went to the nearest Höffner store. There, however, we were told that they could not help us because our online order had apparently been processed by a different location (Berlin). Although the stores have the same name, they apparently do not collaborate in this case – information that customers are not necessarily aware of beforehand! After repeated inquiries, the shipping company Bejot Logistics finally contacted us. Even though we had already canceled the incorrect delivery, they wanted to bring us new sofas again. This meant we had to wait for another appointment. The later pickup date was also problematic (pickup time between 6 pm and 10 pm). The delivery drivers didn't speak German, making communication nearly impossible. They refused to carry the furniture down from the apartment, even though we had previously received the wrong delivery. During the first delivery attempt, the delivery company had already demanded extra payment for carrying the furniture upstairs, despite this not having been agreed upon. Only after an employee contacted a German-speaking colleague by phone did we learn that deliveries and pickups were only to the curb. Since Höffner was unreachable in the evening (around 7 p.m.) and generally difficult to contact by phone, we – a pensioner with a back problem and I – had to find a way to carry the items downstairs ourselves. Overall, the communication was unclear, and the entire process was very stressful. Based on this experience, I would not order from them again and cannot recommend the delivery company, Bejot Logistics.

For me, Möbel Höffner used to be the number one furniture store. I'd walk in, browse, get inspired, or shop with a specific purpose. Unfortunately, after the reorganization, I find the store cluttered, disorganized, and confusing. The charm of a good store with a well-curated selection has been lost. It's always the strategists who make everything worse! Changing a concept that works well is hard for me to understand. Since I'm very disappointed, my opinion shouldn't be considered objective. The advice from a sales assistant was, as always, very good, and the food in the restaurant was also very good. Plenty of parking available!

Neither they nor the customer service representative on the phone could arrange another appointment. Everything was communicated via email. We were left speechless and appalled. Höffner doesn't care whether you've taken time off work or are sitting in a half-installed kitchen with no idea what will happen next. A complaint email was sent immediately. What abysmal customer service!

I would like to give you some feedback on the current organization in your store, which is unfortunately very impractical from a customer perspective in several respects. Firstly, the warehouse is located on one side of the store, while the checkouts are at the very other end. When picking up ordered or reserved goods from the warehouse, you often have to cross the entire store with large and heavy packages – through narrow aisles, past shelves, and past many people. This is extremely tedious and hinders not only the affected customers but also the ongoing customer traffic. It is truly incomprehensible why the warehouse and checkouts are so far apart. A payment option near the warehouse or a direct, wide aisle to the checkout would be much more customer-friendly. Furthermore, there are no self-service checkouts. This results in long wait times, especially if you only want to buy a few items. For furniture products, a salesperson seems to be absolutely necessary to even complete a purchase. This further complicates the shopping process and seems inflexible. To make matters worse, there appears to be no separate exit for customers who haven't purchased anything. They also have to squeeze through the checkout areas, which is very inconvenient for both them and paying customers. Overall, the entire routing and organization seem poorly thought out and customer-friendly. I would like to see these points reconsidered in future planning to make shopping and picking up goods significantly more pleasant and efficient.

NEVER let's go to Höffner! Why is brick-and-mortar retail doing away with itself? Here's an example: I needed a washing machine and a refrigerator combo. With shipping, they delivered the next day and to my apartment. Similar price: At Höffner in Waltersdorf, they only had some parts in stock, okay—that's just how it is, I'll go back later. At the checkout (the refrigerator was in stock), there's a 1-meter-high ramp. I'm told I have to lift the thing down myself. The second time I ring the bell, an employee comes and helps me, which is forbidden. When I ask how I'm going to get the 80 kg washing machine down there on Friday, he says he doesn't know, most people come in pairs... What if I fall off the ramp? Or the washing machine falls down? There's a small lifting platform—but a technician has the key. Has anyone ever bought something similar there? I can't believe it. Why buy from there at all? I had no idea what to expect, but I'm now fundamentally wondering why people still buy things from brick-and-mortar stores.

We wanted to buy curtains today. Perhaps we chose the wrong time (around 12:30 p.m.), as both the employees' tables were empty. I dared to approach an employee in another area and told her to wait, as her colleague was already at her table. I was asked what I wanted, to which I replied that I wanted to buy panel curtains. The answer was that they were already on the shelves and I could choose for myself. I didn't want to ask any more questions. I had planned to buy some bedding, but then decided against it. There are opportunities to buy goods at other markets. It's a shame, otherwise a very nice market.

A great selection with discounts for loyalty cards. Large parking lot and a great restaurant. The employees, however, are very unfriendly and don't know how the price tags on the shelves are arranged, or that the red price is the price for customers with loyalty cards... Instead of calmly and kindly resolving an issue during the payment process, we were blamed and insulted. Truly unfriendly. As a customer, you have to come up with a solution, only to be rejected and then take the "mocked" route. That really wasn't a nice end to our shopping experience. Especially from someone who is training new employees... There's definitely room for improvement. Friendliness isn't difficult :/

My daughter bought furniture on Saturday. I picked it up on Tuesday. They directed me to the information desk. It's great, there aren't many parking spaces for cars with trailers at the main entrance. The short-term parking zone was occupied by houseworkers. At the information desk, they told me I could get one at the goods issue in the building. I had to go right through the building. Then I got my items on a pallet truck and had to go right through the building again to the checkout. There was a huge queue at the checkout for about 20 minutes. I waited. The cashier said, "We don't have any staff," so I loaded everything up and went around the building to the other goods issue. My items were pushed onto a large cart to the gate. And the colleague left. It's a shame, I could have used a little help for a moment. Especially since this colleague had already helped others load their vehicles. I am so disappointed with Höffner. I wish every Höffner boss had to go through this process. And then tell me it's customer-friendly. Especially when you are under time pressure.

We wanted to buy a kitchen. The salesperson was very nice and helpful and spoke almost perfect English. He should get a raise. But the Höffner system seems dubious to me. First of all, they require a customer card. The starting price was €50,000, but after three hours of pleasant inventory, it was only €30,000. If you order, it's only €25,000, and if you sign immediately, it's only €22,000. Without a signature, the customer doesn't receive any plans to go through everything in peace. It feels like a bazaar. I'm sure even this price can be negotiated. I don't see this as reputable or credibly good quality.

The food at the restaurant is quite good. How can you only staff two cash registers for a new opening?! The ongoing discount campaign is proving to be a real shopping challenge. Getting to €200 after all the discounts. After the third attempt (the product labels were difficult to read), the very nice woman at the cash register was still in good spirits. We put some items down and continued looking for something useful. She closed the cash register, and the colleague said, "Well, you were just out of luck. That's the problem, customers always want to be first in line! That's bad luck." So, you've lost me as a customer.

In the end, we found exactly the right model for our needs. We'd also like to particularly emphasize the reliable organization: Even though we bought the mattresses separately, the coordination of delivery and assembly was seamless and absolutely professional. As a customer, you feel completely in good hands. We've been there often since then, even if it's just for cups or new pillows. There's also an entrance area, which is very nice. You feel welcome.

Almost exactly two years ago, I bought Windsor chairs (item no. 143007769) online. One sits only in the bedroom as a "clothes rack," and the other was used daily. The backrest rods are coming loose and are unstable. The quality is poor and not worth the money. Stay away! I purchased this as a guest and therefore can't directly review the item. Höffner says I have to prove that the defect was already present at the time of purchase (statutory warranty), and it certainly did! Poor quality is always evident immediately at the time of purchase, but unfortunately, it usually only becomes apparent afterward! Six, sit down!

I can't explain the sheer messiness of so many sofas any other way. A beautiful store stands or falls with its presentation. A shame, failed. The restaurant was a completely different story. I strongly advise against ordering a new kitchen here. After endless back and forth, a date was finally set to install the new kitchen, but of course, there was a problem: the wrong feet for the furniture. Everything was simply unloaded and the tradesmen left again. The replacement date: a whopping 1.5 months later. In the meantime, there was a mini-kitchen with a smelly refrigerator and a cabinet under the sink that wouldn't close properly. This is what it's going to look like for the next 1.5 months. The replacement date wasn't announced until half a month later. Don't bother yourself. For the price, you'd expect better. UPDATE: Finally, after 2 months, the furniture feet were delivered! BUT THE SINK IS WRONG!!! It's crazy how many things go wrong...

There's nothing to complain about when planning the kitchen. The employee arrived promptly, was very courteous, and the planning was carried out quickly and precisely. Then the problems began. We applied for 0% financing in cooperation with Targo Bank on April 15, 2025. Two months passed, and then, upon our inquiry, we received a reply: "The financing didn't go through, my ID card has expired. Further documents are required." So we redid everything, sent even more documents, and nothing happened for two months. Upon further inquiry, we were told again: "It's taking time." Funnily enough, I've since bought a car, and the financing was approved within 10 minutes. Now we've withdrawn from the purchase agreement in writing, but we expect the bank to start debiting the money on September 1 anyway; it's supposed to keep things interesting. So, if things always go this way, I can't recommend the Höffner package. Edit: Here in the Neuss district, Höffner cannot access documents from other Höffner branches or general orders that weren't completed at the local branch. This means that our kitchen, which we planned online with a consultant on-site in Neuss, cannot be viewed by Höffner in Neuss because they can't access Team South data that originates from Berlin. Excuse me? Even the German authorities are better connected there!

The employees preferred to stand in groups and chat among themselves rather than help or advise customers. Hey IKEA! Today we went to the Christmas buffet. The tables were beautifully set. The price included the buffet and almost all drinks. We were warmly greeted with a glass of glögg (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). A small band played live music. It was a lovely experience. Thank you so much!

The fact that you can't even manage to puree the mashed potatoes smoothly, and that more than half the portion consists of undercooked potatoes for an €8 dish, speaks volumes about the "effort" that goes into it in the kitchen. The fact that vegetarian/vegan dishes often cost over €10, however, tops it all. Simply embarrassing.
