The service really sucks, arrogant conditions, if you don't want a nice and cozy environment, this is the place for you. I used to really enjoy being there, but they don't seem to be interested in sales or anything like that. Job missed, sorry and I rarely give only 1 🌟 star ⭐️ and that's only half a star.
The place is terrible! It's impossible to get a good night's sleep with this mattress. The internet doesn't work and you often have to shower in freezing water! 😓👎🏻
This is the second time I brought my friends to this restaurant. It is a restaurant with local characteristics. The Bavarian pork knuckle and other dishes taste quite good!
A friendly restaurant, the food has improved somewhat over the last year and a half.
Unfortunately, the meat is often too dry and sometimes very earthy. So the whole thing can still be expanded. The salad is a matter of taste.
Today we ate delicious ox cheeks with bacon beans and noodles. Insider tip for everyone who wants to sit on a comfortable, shady terrace and doesn't need a large menu. Watching horses is included in the price 😉
Restaurant is part of the holiday inn hotel. Food was good, service excellent, prices were high for area but it is convenient when staying at the hotel.
Cool American dinner. We had chili and burgers. The burgers were tasty, large and the fries were plentiful. The fries were particularly excellent.
In my opinion, the chili was too tomato-heavy, but that's a matter of taste.
The ambience is great.
There were 8 of us there and my girlfriend and I arrived early to have a coffee. I was the only one who got the coffee and my girlfriend wasn't even asked what she wanted. Once everyone else had arrived, things went relatively quickly and the staff were very helpful and seemed to have everything under control. However, when I ordered my food, I wasn't asked what I wanted. I was actually expecting Italian or Mediterranean cuisine, but then I read that the Carbonara had cream sauce and it became clear to me that this couldn't be Italian. The pizza I ordered had too much cheese on it and only in the middle. From the outside, there was too much crust, then a section with no topping, just tomato sauce, and then the entire topping was in the middle. I usually love the crust but unfortunately the dough was tasteless and not fully cooked. The location and drinks are great and the ambience is good too, although there's more to it here. All in all, I would recommend a coffee on the Pegnitz for a few drinks in the evening or a coffee in the afternoon, but there are better alternatives for dinner in Nuremberg.
We stayed here in a double for a weekend trip to Nürnberg and it was a 9/10.
The price was reasonable for the size of the room, which was spacious. The furnishings were very modern and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean, and there was plenty of storage. Tea and coffee were in the room for us, however there were no spare pillows in the room, and we only had one each.
At check-in the staff member serving us seemed a bit offish and unfriendly, but there were no issues, at all other times staff were friendly and check out was a simple card drop.
The location is ideal for those arriving by train, as it’s a short walk from the main train station. You can quite easily get here from the airport too on the metro. Getting into the city can be done via a few routes but none are so far that they cant be easily done on foot. There is a large tramstop nearby as well as a small regional train station down the road.
Lovely hotel, would have been 10/10 if not for the lack of pillows and the uncomfortable check-in.
