Nice and cozy atmosphere inside, sunny location outside directly on the Pegnitz, simply beautiful. In addition to the standard menu, there are constantly changing creative compositions that you may not necessarily know and taste very delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful. We really liked it there.

Great location. Lovely inside - slightly "night-club" feel, though it worked. Lively. Friendly staff and very good service. Flexible - they made a starter sized risotto for me and it was excellent. Excellent main courses too.

The service was polite and tried hard. My husband really enjoyed the lasagna. I had the salad with beef fillet tips. Visually it looked beautiful, but overall it was very bland. Unfortunately the meat was tough, so I chewed on it for a long time and then choked down a dry lump. Arugula salad had lots of long stems. The dried tomatoes also didn't taste good at all, I couldn't eat them. Overall very disappointing for 23 euros. If it hadn't been quite late and we were very tired, I would have let it go back.

Service and staff very friendly and helpful. The ambience on the canal invites you to linger. Reservation for good seats is highly recommended. Portions/pizzas very good in keeping with the price-performance ratio! Sanitary facilities available and just as good/clean.

They left us sitting at a table and had no choice (even though there were plenty of free tables). Waiters who weren't very friendly because they saw that we were Italian. We ordered two Aperol Spritz (which tasted like water) and were told we had to vacate the table by 6:30pm, even though there was no sign saying "Reserved". I don't recommend it for tourists. 17 € for two spritzes.

A very nice place on the Pegnitz. Prices on the Internet differ from the map by an average of 20% upwards. Pasta with truffles is completely tasteless and even if a kilo of truffles costs €1000, the value of the goods on the plate is less than €1. The woman's spaghetti, because it was obviously not stirred, was partly stuck together inseparably. Price performance is not right. Pizza was ok. Panna cotta made with so much gelatin and completely oversweetened, practically inedible. Service good. The two stars are only for the pizza

A nice atmosphere and a fun place to eat/drink. Service was friendly and quick. My partner had a mixed grill which was delicious and well prepared! However, i had a pasta and its quality did not meet my expectations. The pasta shape was something else that was on the menu, and the amount of chicken and mushroom was very minimal. The taste was fine, but would not recommend the pasta.

Very long waiting times and wrong drinks despite being returned. In addition, I paid for the more expensive, wrong drinks and unfortunately the staff wasn't really friendly either...unfortunately not recommended.

Today we went to Riverside to celebrate my aunt's birthday. It quickly became clear that our visit to Riverside was anything but a good experience... We were treated very disrespectfully by the waiter (somewhat grayish hair) and we didn't feel any hospitality at all. He made us feel so uncomfortable that we left without eating. You'll never see us here again!!!!!

Pasta and salad were delicious. However, the waiter was so rude, arrogant, ignorant and indifferent that for once I didn't leave a tip. I basically dislocate my arm so he can come and get my food thrown down. His colleagues weren't any better either. No thanks, I don't need it again.

We wanted to have coffee at lunchtime. Only the Indian restaurant next door smells very unpleasant. Well, it's a matter of taste. But you can't help it.

I would like to see what is served on the menu. I had the beef tartare and it consisted of 80% avocado and the tartare was decorated with a cremefraiche white wine dressing, which wasn't good at all and isn't on the menu. The vegetables with the sea bass were full of oil even though I didn't want any oil. The sea bass wasn't fished well at all and was full of bones. The waiters were very unfriendly and hardly cared about us, just casually looked around but there wasn't really any interest. I wouldn't recommend any, I also got really sick from the food

Once and never again !!! We visited this restaurant yesterday and ordered drinks and pizza. The drinks came quickly, but the food was a long time coming. After an hour I asked and was repeatedly put off. When another half hour passed, when asked, they admitted that they had forgotten the pizza. So we waited another half hour until the pizzas finally came. My pizza was burnt, the other one was undercooked. Well the taste was rather bland and dry and that for the price of 14.90! To make matters worse, I had to bite on shards of glass. There were quite large shards on my pizza. Craziness!! Luckily nothing serious happened. I can only advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. You can find a better quality pizza on every street corner cheaper, faster and without the risk of broken glass...

The food is very good. There are many different kinds of pasta and pizza, allowing you to choose your favorite. The waiters are very nice and check on us often. There are also a variety of drinks and risotto which is great. It can get pretty hot inside the restaurant during summer, but the outside is usually pretty cool. Unfortunately, when sitting outside, spiders will occasionally crawl up to you if you are near the river. The restaurant offers a good view of the river, while still having great food.

Thank you for the lovely afternoon! We went to Riverside for a civil wedding lunch with 30 people. The food tasted excellent and came table by table at the same time. From pizza to pasta to fish and meat dishes, everyone was extremely satisfied. The service team was very friendly and accommodating to our requests, including a champagne reception and decorations. We would be happy to come over for dinner again, even in a smaller group.

Very nicely located restaurant with nice staff. Actually five stars. Only the Pizza Diavola (€12.50) was spicy, but otherwise just ok. Not bad, but not particularly tasty either, my colleague felt the same way with his pizza. Conclusion: For me, a restaurant that you can visit at any time, especially during your lunch break. I would try the pasta next time though.

Very friendly, helpful boss, we had 3 great positive experiences with him. During a city tour, our city guide needed something to drink because of a throat problem, the employee gave us a large glass of water free of charge, the next day he let us charge our cell phone even though we weren't guests. Compliment👍. The guests' food looked very appealing.

Very unfriendly waitress! I called two hours in advance and reserved a place, I was told on site that there was no reservation even though I showed the call on my cell phone. Waitress walks past you with an aggressive and pessimistic manner and doesn't even look at the person's face while talking. Nobody even came towards us. I then asked if we could have a seat, and then we were rudely shooed into the corner to wait there. Due to the unprofessional and unmotivated behavior of the employees, we immediately decided to leave and celebrated our birthday somewhere else! What a shame!!

I wouldn't recommend it, tiramisu wasn't really tasty, Greek mocha is usually served with a glass of cold water to neutralize and refresh the palate before enjoying the coffee, unfortunately there wasn't any either. Overall not recommended

Located right on the river, you can have a delicious meal here in comfort with a beautiful view. We had antipasti, halloumi and vitello tonnato as starters, each one really good in its own right. The pizzas were also very good, although unfortunately mine was a bit cold due to the cold mozzarella. The staff is friendly and well organized.

We got a table for 5 people without a reservation. That was very good. But we had to wait a very long time for the food. But it tasted good. What we didn't find so nice was some of the service. Nobody really came to our table and asked if we wanted any more drinks. The Aperol Spritz was good, but a lot of ice cubes. We sat outside. I can't really say much from inside. But what I noticed on the way to the toilet was that the bar was full of dirty glasses. That's not a good poster child. The ladies' room didn't look that special either. Stress or not, but this is something you should pay attention to.

Leckerer Mittagstisch und leckerer Nachtisch. Wir waren Mittags im Riverseide und haben den Mittagstisch probiert und 1 Pizza genommen. Die Pizza war gut belegt und der Teig war dünn, so mag ich das. Der Mittagstisch war auf dem Punkt gekocht und super gewürzt.

The two of us didn't reserve a table at Riverside at 8:00 p.m. and still managed to get a seat, even though it was very full. The selection of Mediterranean cuisine was excellent, there was something for everyone... a sea bream fillet as well as a steak and also pasta/pizza. We had two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc wine and a Lugana and as a starter we ordered an antispasto starter plate and a salmon tartare. Both tasted good. After a short, pleasant bridging period, we continued with the main course except for a few small fish, which usually happens, the sea bream was very, very tender and I ate it with pleasure. My counterpart had the truffle pasta which had a pleasant touch of truffle and parmesan. In terms of price/performance ratio, we are in the upper segment of Mediterranean cuisine, but the quality is also really good and so is the service. I give the Riverside a successful 9/10.

The food is average and not very seasoned, the service is unfortunately disinterested and has no interest in giving the customer a nice evening, all in all a nice location but unfortunately the prices are too high for the quality and service - more of a tourist trap.

Very pleasant restaurant. Food A1, service very good, only negative point - you wait a long, long time for the menu if you want to reorder. In the meantime we even gave up on it before we were given the menu again after asking. The restaurant is quite small inside, perhaps that's why they prefer a higher turnover of customers rather than repeat orders.

We were a group of 10 people, but we only took care of the bare essentials. 🤔 At the end we were even rudely asked to pay and leave without any understandable reason. 👎

The food was ok. In my opinion the portion of salad is too small. The Mediterranean salad was absolutely not filling. I would have gotten more for the money elsewhere. The store is also very small and when our company party arrived, there was another group sitting there too. This could have been planned better. It's too loud and too hot for so many people. There are also only 1-3 dishes for vegetarians, you cannot eat vegan there. A pity. For me the store is totally overrated.

We also chose the Aperol Spritz and a Lillet Wildberry. Both great. The Riverside Café is definitely a must for anyone who wants to relax in a beautiful setting while enjoying delicious food and drinks. It is not only a place for culinary delights, but also an oasis of peace in the city that should not be missed.

We had reserved a table in the restaurant, but it was still dirty and not cleared by the previous guests. When we asked the waiter if he could clear the table, he was very rude and we had to leave the table. We have never experienced such outrageousness anywhere before! The restaurant apparently doesn't need to serve its guests in a friendly manner. The owner should think about the unprofessional and rude staff he employs there. We will certainly not visit this restaurant again and will pass on the same.

First of all, I personally didn't like the atmosphere of the place. Using expensive wine and champagne bottles as decoration may appeal to some people, but to me they seem rather ostentatious. The Aperol tasted good, but consisted mostly of ice, which was a shame for the price. I had the porcini mushroom risotto, which tasted very good and I definitely recommend it, but the portion was a bit meager for the price. In my opinion it was too expensive for what I was offered, but otherwise good.

Highly Recommended. Good Mediterranean cuisine with modern elements and many positive surprises. Some dishes (e.g. grilled octopus) are really rare to find so well prepared. The service was very attentive, friendly and calm. The only criticism is the ambience. The tables are very close together and overall the room is very noisy. Nevertheless, very tastefully furnished and the price-performance ratio is right.

There were 6 of us at Riverside on Sunday evening. The food was good except for the spaghetti carbonara, which was just pasta with cream and a bit of bacon. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the service at a restaurant with such an atmosphere. The waiter only did the bare minimum at our table. I had the feeling that he was quite aloof and had no desire to serve us, but we were not asked whether everything was OK after we had served the dishes, or whether we still had empty drinks want something or when clearing up, whether we would like coffee or dessert. Maybe I'm being a bit critical, but I've already served myself and expected better service based on the presentation and prices.

Service staff is unprofessional and unreasonable. Drinks were non-carbonated and after complaints people made fun of them within earshot. One dish was subsequently forgotten. At the end there was some “advice” on how to behave. I can only advise against visiting this restaurant, but maybe the market will regulate it.

On Sunday I had dinner with my family at Riverside. I am very disappointed and it was the last visit for my family and me. Unfriendly staff and arrogant boss - the only positive thing was the waiter, otherwise we would have left straight away. Some of us had to wait for our cutlery even though we already had our food. The meat was almost raw, instead of medium as ordered and had to be fried again. The portions were small, so you almost had to count the side dishes (price-performance ratio wasn't right here). We felt very uncomfortable and unwanted. We had three small children with us, so apparently that didn't go down well. When I look at the reviews here, the behavior of the staff when it comes to families with children seems to have a method. It's a shame, actually a great restaurant. But you simply notice that you are not dependent on every guest. No problem, we won't come back and won't recommend you to anyone else.

Very disappointed with Riverside - this was the last visit for my family and I. An unfriendly boss including a receptionist (bar) - despite a reservation, no one can tell you where our reserved spot is when you enter the restaurant. We had to wait for our cutlery. Overall, poor communication and the food wasn't particularly good. All in all very chaotic. Their only excuse is that there is a lot going on today...ect...no self-reflection, almost arrogant, but apparently that's what you can afford at this location. We wouldn't have tipped and were almost about to leave early. But the waiter served was very helpful and so we decided not to. He was also able to guide us to our reserved spot. Oh yes, we had three small children with us, maybe. Was this the reason for their laissez faire attitude...it's a trendy shop on the Rivera...

Hello, we had dinner with a large group in the evening. The restaurant is modernly furnished and makes a good impression. That evening the restaurant was completely full and no table was available, which made it extremely loud in the restaurant. The pasta dishes were very tasty, but unfortunately the portions were small, which is not unusual for the prices in Nuremberg. Drinks were served quickly and there is nothing to complain about in terms of service. The pizza is absolutely not recommended and is far from a good Italian pizza in terms of both the quality of the ingredients including tomato sauce and the taste - perhaps on the level of a mediocre delivery pizza . Incomprehensible. All in all, it's worth a visit if you don't order pizza and the place isn't fully booked.

We love spending our couples evenings here! We discovered this restaurant by chance while walking through the city. We both celebrate very good and tasty food. The feel-good atmosphere impressed us right from the start and gave us a homely feeling. This is the best place to spend romantic time for two. The waiters are friendly and competent. They have a great sensitivity as to which wine suits us best. The best thing about the service is the humanity! You are immediately recognized and the staff approach you, after the first sip of wine and after the meal, with nice questions asking if there is anything else they can do for us. They also offer a good selection of nightcaps. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, modern, but also luxuriously furnished. In summer, when the weather is good, we recommend sitting outside with a direct view of the Pegnitz and the Love Island.
