I was with my family on vacation, strolling around the city when we came across this lovely restaurant and decided to have lunch there. The staff ready to help you and satisfy all your needs. The food was amazing we ordered past and pizza and a salad. The dessert was also amazing. The menu had a variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend it

Given the bad reviews here, I wonder if the reviewers aren't just struggling with themselves and want to blame others. The food is always very good, as is the service. A good daily special. It's never stuffy inside. Anyone who gets kicked out at 10:00 PM probably hasn't ordered anything for an hour; you know the candidates.

Disappointing – not again! We had reserved a table for 7 p.m. Around 10 p.m., the manager personally came to us and said we had to leave because the table was reserved – even though half the restaurant was empty! I've rarely experienced such rudeness. We've been to the Riverside several times before and have actually been satisfied, but this behavior is completely unacceptable. When you go out for a leisurely meal and then are practically thrown out without warning, you feel completely unappreciated as a guest. Furthermore, when we made the reservation over the phone, we had explicitly requested a table by the water. But we got a table right in the passageway. It wasn't ideal, but we accepted it. But the incident at the end ruined the whole evening for us. It's a shame – we won't be back anytime soon.

The waitress was extremely unfriendly to us. We didn't want to pay per table, but rather separately. We were with a larger group at two reserved tables. During the payment process, the waiter hissed at us, was unfriendly, and didn't apologize. I always thought the customer is king.

Despite having reserved an outdoor area, we were only seated in the stuffy indoor area. The waiters seemed very stressed. Inquiries about ingredients (due to allergies) were answered hesitantly and very reluctantly. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, but the portions were rather small and the prices were rather high. When the bill didn't arrive for about 10 minutes and we asked again, the waiter reacted with extreme annoyance and used a very inappropriate tone: "If you have a problem, you don't need to come back." Absolutely not recommended.

The service is great and the food is wonderful. The lasagna is a dream. Unfortunately, the restrooms are much too small, cramped, dark, and not really clean. The indoor dining area is also just too cramped. However, there is outdoor seating available. Despite the issues, the food is excellent.

It's actually a really nice location, but only half the tables are available, especially the sunny ones, which are blocked off. When I asked, the employee said he was the only one there, which is why the tables were blocked off, which I can understand from his perspective, but I don't want to sit in the shade. It's a real shame!

I found the restaurant here via Google Maps and I'm absolutely thrilled that I found something like this! I had ordered for four people a few days before, and we were given a table outside due to the pleasant evening temperatures. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Special requests when ordering food were also implemented without any problems. The food itself was fantastic, we all loved it. Of course not at the lowest price but worth every euro. We won't be coming back to Nuremberg any time soon, but we would like to go there again if the opportunity arises.

We were there with 8 people and at the beginning my girlfriend and I were there earlier to have a coffee. Only I got the coffee and my friend wasn't asked what she wanted to drink. Once everyone else was there, things went relatively quickly. The staff tried very hard and seemed to have everything under control. However, when ordering food I wasn't asked what I wanted to eat. I was actually prepared for Italian cuisine or Mediterranean cuisine, but then I read about cream sauce with the carbonara and it became clear to me that this couldn't be Italian cuisine. The pizza I then ordered had too much cheese on it and only in the middle. Seen from the outside, there was too much edge, then a section with no topping, just tomato sauce, and then in the middle was the entire topping. Normally I love the crust but unfortunately the dough was tasteless and underbaked. Location and drinks are top and the ambience is great, but there is simply more here. All in all, we recommend it for a few drinks in the evening or a coffee on the Pegnitz in the afternoon with a meal, but there are better alternatives in Nuremberg.

The service was very slow and the waiter was not kind enough.

Service was rude, we had to wait 30 minutes for a beer and a cappuccino. After that there wasn't even an apology. The spoon and saucer of the cappuccino were both dirty. Definitely not recommended despite the beautiful location right on the river.

The pizza is great if, like me, you like a soft, airy crust and a thin base with plenty of toppings. Pizza Vulcano is best eaten with two people. Good service and good drinks.

We had a business team dinner here recently. I really enjoyed their seafood dishes: Salmon Tartare for a stater and linguini with muscles for a main. The Panna Cotta dessert also hit the spot.

Hello :) I was with you for the first time this afternoon with my friend and we were very excited! They both said that we haven't had such a good pizza for years and I, for example, have tried many in Nuremberg and they don't even come close to yours! The atmosphere is very nice right on the Pegnitz and the service was very attentive and friendly. Price performance ratio very good for what you get served. We'd love to come back! :)

The food was good but the rest was somehow not up to par. The waiter had to stop taking orders several times because the internet was gone. He only came up with the idea of ​​working with pieces of paper after several attempts. At least twice the wrong food and drinks arrived. I had the impression that there weren't enough staff present. It was very dark in the restaurant. A large area of ​​the ceiling was poorly covered with foil or garbage bags because it had apparently been opened. Not only did it look ugly, it also didn't inspire confidence. Everything was hanging down. The restaurant tries to appear stylish, but is more dazzling and is at best middle class. It's a shame actually. There would be more there. Therefore only recommended to a limited extent.

Delicious food, elegant service and cozy atmosphere. The only sad part was that our reservation was limited to 1:30 which didn't give us time to taste any dessert. I will be back for the full experience. I ordered the risotto and it was simply delicious. 😋

Caution!!! We were there for dinner with the family in mid-November, paid with a debit card and an additional €40 was then deducted from my account. I sent an email to the restaurant twice, asking for an explanation, no response. We're going to call in our lawyer now...

Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were immediately contacted because we came without a reservation. Then we were simply made to wait until we were served. Exchange money was simply withheld without asking. The food, however, was delicious.

Got a table, they were nice, fast serving… iwish my salad had more meat. Or could pay an extra fee for more meat. There was a lot cheese. Just a personal preference.

The service was polite and tried hard. My husband really enjoyed the lasagna. I had the salad with beef fillet tips. Visually it looked beautiful, but overall it was very bland. Unfortunately the meat was tough, so I chewed on it for a long time and then choked down a dry lump. Arugula salad had lots of long stems. The dried tomatoes also didn't taste good at all, I couldn't eat them. Overall very disappointing for 23 euros. If it hadn't been quite late and we were very tired, I would have let it go back.

Service and staff very friendly and helpful. The ambience on the canal invites you to linger. Reservation for good seats is highly recommended. Portions/pizzas very good in keeping with the price-performance ratio! Sanitary facilities available and just as good/clean.

They left us sitting at a table and had no choice (even though there were plenty of free tables). Waiters who weren't very friendly because they saw that we were Italian. We ordered two Aperol Spritz (which tasted like water) and were told we had to vacate the table by 6:30pm, even though there was no sign saying "Reserved". I don't recommend it for tourists. 17 € for two spritzes.

A very nice place on the Pegnitz. Prices on the Internet differ from the map by an average of 20% upwards. Pasta with truffles is completely tasteless and even if a kilo of truffles costs €1000, the value of the goods on the plate is less than €1. The woman's spaghetti, because it was obviously not stirred, was partly stuck together inseparably. Price performance is not right. Pizza was ok. A nice atmosphere and a fun place to eat/drink. Service was friendly and quick. My partner had a mixed grill which was delicious and well prepared! However, i had a pasta and its quality did not meet my expectations. The pasta shape was something else that was on the menu, and the amount of chicken and mushroom was very minimal. The taste was fine, but would not recommend the pasta.

Today we went to Riverside to celebrate my aunt's birthday. It quickly became clear that our visit to Riverside was anything but a good experience... We were treated very disrespectfully by the waiter (somewhat grayish hair) and we didn't feel any hospitality at all. He made us feel so uncomfortable that we left without eating. You'll never see us here again!!!!!

Pasta and salad were delicious. However, the waiter was so rude, arrogant, ignorant and indifferent that for once I didn't leave a tip. I basically dislocate my arm so he can come and get my food thrown down. His colleagues weren't any better either. No thanks, I don't need it again.

We wanted to have coffee at lunchtime. Only the Indian restaurant next door smells very unpleasant. Well, it's a matter of taste. But you can't help it.

Once and never again !!! We visited this restaurant yesterday and ordered drinks and pizza. The drinks came quickly, but the food was a long time coming. After an hour I asked and was repeatedly put off. When another half hour passed, when asked, they admitted that they had forgotten the pizza. So we waited another half hour until the pizzas finally came. My pizza was burnt, the other one was undercooked. Well the taste was rather bland and dry and that for the price of 14.90! To make matters worse, I had to bite on shards of glass. There were quite large shards on my pizza. Craziness!! Luckily nothing serious happened. I can only advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. You can find a better quality pizza on every street corner cheaper, faster and without the risk of broken glass...

I would like to see what is served on the menu. I had the beef tartare and it consisted of 80% avocado and the tartare was decorated with a cremefraiche white wine dressing, which wasn't good at all and isn't on the menu. The vegetables with the sea bass were full of oil even though I didn't want any oil. The sea bass wasn't fished well at all and was full of bones. The waiters were very unfriendly and hardly cared about us, just casually looked around but there wasn't really any interest. I wouldn't recommend any, I also got really sick from the food
