Very good value for money, highly recommended. Unfortunately, my favorite burger with whiskey sauce was taken off the menu.

Always delicious food and great atmosphere. We have been regular guests since the beginning and a visit is always a great experience. Chilli burger + bacon is the favorite.

The best burger in town. We have been coming here for 11 years and the large burgers always taste very good and delicious. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The great furnishings make you feel like you're in 1950s America. Please keep it up.

A first! As die-hard Nurembergers, we spontaneously came to the restaurant, which in the past was always full, hoping to get a table and were surprised that there was hardly anyone there. Despite the large staff, it took 20 minutes until we were asked for our order. Since the menu wasn't what it used to be, we decided to drink 2 light drinks and snack on a portion of onion rings. 10 minutes later the onion rings were on the table but there was no trace of the drinks. When I asked, the waitress assured me that they would take care of it. Another 10 minutes later the onion rings were cold too. We decide to leave. Congratulations on going again, no one has ever done THAT!!! Sad when you think of the Chongs from before.

The portion was very large, the food was delicious and the prices were great. Best burger shop in all of Nuremberg. See for yourself!

Great American diner. Great service and great burgers. There are only 4 points because the chicken wings and spare ribs were too dry. Unfortunately, the delicious sauce didn't help either. Too bad. But otherwise Chong's Diner is recommended.

Very tasty burgers - unfortunately the portions are too big, so you just never make it. The staff is very nice. Only the vegetarian selection could be larger, e.g. a second patty variation.

1. Food: The buns are not homemade, but bought. With the slightest pressure they fall apart, making it unnecessarily complicated to eat the burger. Furthermore, they are dry. Otherwise the burger is OK. Not bad but not sensational either, especially considering the price. Which brings us to topic 2. 2nd prize: Unfortunately, €16.90 for a cheeseburger that falls apart almost immediately due to the bun and tastes mediocre at best is unfortunately too much. A 0.5 liter beer costs just €5, 1 liter of table water (i.e. tap water) costs €11.50. San Pellegrino 0.75 liters costs €8.90. Honestly, I can be kidding myself and at some point this rip-off will end. Inflation or not. The pricing policy at Chong's is outrageous. 3. Service: Nice staff, attentive and quick 4. Ambience Nicely decorated, clean, pleasant music.

Great food, great service, great place. We found it by chance and we received a warm welcome from the owner. The food was excellent, one of the best burgers I have ever tried. The homemade soft drinks were also fantastic. The place itself is pure wander, it feels like being in an authentic diner in the states. Just a brilliant experience, I would definitely recommend it!

We were return to this restaurant after 10 years and I could confirm that quality is the same as previously. The portions were big (the kids menu available) and tasty. There is possible to modify the ingredients due the customer preferences. The salad is serve in separate small bowl. Take away packaging option available.

Yesterday I was in the area and parked the car next to the restaurant. I saw the waitress bring a burger to someone's table. I told my wife we ​​should try it too and we left. VERY tasty and good, huge portion and very friendly staff. The price is ok for such a portion. We will definitely come back.

Nice American diner with a large selection of burgers that leaves nothing to be desired. There were also really delicious fries that were prepared in fresh fat. The portions will satisfy even hungry mouths. What was great was that, even though some of the chicken in the chicken salad we ordered was not yet cooked through, the meat was fried without any problems. The service was friendly and quick, the toilets were clean. Gladly again!

The wings are very yummy and a good size portion. Also, try the Hell's Kitchen dessert!

While we were passing through and looking for a really good burger place, we found what we were looking for here. With every bite you could taste the homemade food and the quality of the individual ingredients. Burger was “smashed”, i.e. irregular, crispy edge, very tasty. Perfectly recommended!

Once again on the safe side! At Chong's you know what you're getting: attentive, friendly and fast service, the best burgers in town, great side dishes and salads, and even American breakfast on weekends until 3 p.m. Everyone in the family will find what they are looking for here. Always happy for over 20 years.

We ordered something to pick up, so no information about the service. The two burgers were very bland and unstable. The buns were disproportionately large for the patty, not toasted and not that tasty. The cheeseburger had mushy lettuce on it and the cheese could only be tasted on a quarter of the burger due to the strange structure of the burger. The chicken burger had half a chicken breast, which didn't taste too fresh. However, you get a very large portion of fries with it. ColeSlaw was more of a German coleslaw. All in all rather disappointing when you get two burgers and fries for €36.

The portions are very large. Very large plate with a mountain of salad. I'll eat it tomorrow too, I had it packed up. Facilities beautifully decorated and staff extremely friendly and attentive.

I like the atmosphere here and the variety of sauces. The fried anything is also classic (onion rings, French fries etc). They offer plenty of choices of burgers which are normally good. Service team is friendly.

I think I've eaten here 4 times so far. The food, especially the burgers and the garlic sauce, are to die for. Homemade delicious lemonades and a great ambience. The staff was super nice and competent 👍 Bringing children is no problem, whether with a baby (there is room for a stroller here) or a toddler, high chairs and a changing facility are available 👍 I'm happy to take a 1½ hour drive 😊 and will definitely come back!

I really enjoy being a guest here. Classic American style diner. In summer you can also sit on the terrace here, the location is relatively quiet on the edge of the old town. The employees are always very friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh and tasty and very plentiful. We also like to come on weekends for a late breakfast, which is served here until 2 p.m.

The restaurant is still simply great in American style. The service was good, the food was tasty and arrived quickly. The prices for the kids burgers are ok, even if they only serve cheeseburgers. In my opinion, almost 19 euros for a burger with a few more ingredients is way too much and woe betide you if you have a special request, then you pay a lot more (at least that's what it says in the menu, I decided not to try it) . Therefore only 3 stars even if everything else was really good.

The food came very quickly after a short wait. The burgers were very well topped and the portions were so large that everyone was full. The meat is of very good quality and the sauces were also great. The fries were just right, crispy on the outside - tender on the inside. Only the bun was a little too soft for my taste. The service was courteous. The ambience in the classic American diner style is a matter of taste. All in all, you can eat very well here at a really fair price.

Das Essen ist nicht mehr so, wie es mal war

toller Laden, richtig guter und netter Service. Wenn man Abends dort essen will, empfiehlt es sich aber vorher vielleicht zu reservieren, da sonst die Wartezeiten etwas länger werden können. Dennoch ordentliche Portionen in anständiger und solider Qualität :). Immer wieder gerne..

Wir hatte an einem Sonntag Abend spontan Lust auf Burger und haben seit längerem mal wieder Chong's Diner besucht. Anscheinend hat hier der Fachkräftemangel ebenfalls zugeschlagen. Der Service besteht „leider“ komplett aus neuem, eher unmotivierten und nicht wirklich aufmerksamen Personal. Ebenfalls muss es wohl auch eine Wechsel in der der Küche gegeben haben. Unsere Burgen waren, ganz im Gegensatz zu früher, sehr lieblos angerichtet, mit kalter BBQ bestrichen, das Fleisch doch sehr trocken und der sonst selbstgemachte Cole Slaw leider deutlich zu schmecken aus der Packung. Als kleinen Bonus zur doch saftig ausgefallenen Preiserhöhung, wurden die Portionen auch merklich kleiner. Na ja, zumindest das Ambiente versprüht noch das typische American Diner Feeling. Schade, hier ruht man sich anscheinend nur noch auf dem guten Ruf der letzten Jahre aus.

Ein schönes Diner im Amerikanischen Still. Sehr hübsch und angenehm. Das Essen ist auch im amerikanischen Stil sehr groß. Richtig große Burger und eine gute Portion pommes. Hiet wird man für sein Geld satt. Geschmacklich ist es gut aber leider nicht sehr gut, habe es trotzdem geliebt.

Schon mehrmals hier zum Essen gewesen. Portionen sind üppig und satt wird man hier aufjedenfall. Parken gehe ich meisten im Parkhaus beim CineCitta oder beim Prinzregenten Ufer. Reservieren würde ich, vor allem Abends, empfehlen.

I went with the impression that of having Chinese food or something like more Asian because of the restaurant name … The food and atmosphere was really nice , I guess the price is also quite affordable.simple menu with tasty and delicious food . Having a parking space is going to be a real problem while visiting the restaurant.

Die Ambiente ist wunderschön und im 60er Style gehalten ebenso die Musik. Die Portionen sind riesig. Ich hatte den Salat und war aber nicht begeistert davon. Ich wollte den House Salat und als ich diesen bekam hat er mich fast erschlagen so groß war der. Leider war gebratenes Gemüse mit drauf sowie Croutons. Das stand aber nicht auf der Karte. Ich bin wohl die einzige die sich beschwert das mehr kam als ich bestellt hatte. Die Knoblauchsoße hat mir auch nicht so geschmeckt. Beim nächsten Besuch hatte ich die Chickenwings. Die waren sehr gut und würzig. Mein Partner hatte das Chilli und war sehr begeistert. Der Milkshake ist mit Eiscreme und Milch gemixt, viel Sahne und Schokosoße drauf. Preis-Leistung passt hier auf jeden Fall.

Super Restaurant. Auch ein sehr netter, sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Besitzer. Als Schüler der danebenliegenden Schule ist der Schülerburger zudem stets sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich liebe es hier. Auf jeden Fall reservieren weil es immer sehr voll ist und man sonst eigentlich keinen Tisch bekommt. Richtig leckeres Essen und Trinken. Mein Favorit ist der Funny Bones Platter mit Chongs Special Sauce. Kann ich auf jeden Fall nur weiterempfehlen.

Ziemlich große Portionen für faire Preise! Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt, quasi alle Burger sind auch in vegetarisch möglich (dafür wird ein Gemüse-Patty benutzt) und neben Burgern gibt es auch anderes typisches Fingerfood. Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, Ambieten auch sehr angenehm man fühlt sich tatsächlich wie in einem Diner

Die Burger sind zu trocken. Wenn man mit der Gabel reinsticht, fällt das Fleisch auseinander. Die Pommes und Onion Rings waren viel zu salzig. Der Oreo Milkshake war total flüssig und hatte gar keine Konsistenz. Wir waren schon öfter hier und früher war es deutlich besser.

Super burger die den USA nichts nachstehen! Toller und freundlicher Service und liebevolle deko an Halloween echt super! Wir haben uns gefreut das Chong’s unverändert top geblieben ist auch wenn wir nur alle paar Jahre in Nürnberg sind. Ist und bleibt unsere Pflicht Adresse bei jedem Besuch.

Bedienung war freundlich und der service war gut. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert, wobei dafür auch der geringe Betrieb verantwortlich gewesen sein kann. Die Chicken Wings und die Pommes waren sehr gut. Bei den Burger habe ich bis auf die Brötchen nichts auszusetzen gehabt.

Das Lokal war früher am Obstmarkt (in der Nähe des Hauptmarkts). Dort war ich nur einmal zu Gast...war nicht so toll. Putenfleisch war nicht durch. WCs in schlechtem Zustand. In der neuen Lokalität (für junge Leute: Location) ist beides viel viel besser geworden. WCs sind in hervorragendem Zustand. Essen ist ein Traum. War schon mehrfach dort...Weihnachtsfeier mit meinem Unternehmen war auch toll. Preise sind ok. Leider ist mein Lieblingsburger nicht mehr auf der Karte. Steakburger mit Frischkäse...war super lecker. Empfehlenswert sind auch die eigenen Limonaden. Update 08.10.23 Immer noch top... heute den Blackforrestburger probiert. Top, wie alles.

Ich kann das Essen nicht ein mal bewerten, da wir nach 25 Minuten das leere Lokal verlassen haben. 2 Bedienungen am Feiertag haben es nicht auf die Reihe gebracht 7 Tische zu versorgen. Studieren und Gastro passen eben nicht zusammen.... Aber der Fisch stink von Kopf. Schade, schade. Für mich war's das mit Chong's. Da geh ich lieber ins Five.

Ein guter Burger zu essen ist eine Freude. Diese werden hier keines Wegs erreicht. Der Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Doch das was aus der Küche kommt beschämend, obwohl noch nicht viel los war. Bei beiden Essen kamen die Pommes nur lauwarm. Sie waren sichtbar überfrittiert als wären sie aufgewärmt worden und dann nochmals stehen gelassen. Der Farmersalat zeigt sich als Eimerqualität. In einem Lokal erwartet man frische und hausgemachte Kost. Das Brötchen vom Burger eine Frechheit. Trocken, nicht gerostet oder geröstet. Keinen Geschmack. Der Bürger nicht gewürzt und na ja geschmacklich eine Note mangelhaft. Nicht zu empfehlen. Die hohe Qualität die auf der Homepage beschrieben wird ist nicht zu finden.

I would rate a 2.5 here if I could... One has so much choice these days when it comes to finding a good burger restaurant in Germany. This place is not one of them. The place looks cool style-wise with its 1950's diner look. That's the best I can say about it. Burgers, whilst being massive, seemed greasy and stodgy. Too many layers and toppings. Fries also a bit overcooked and crunchy. Value for money seemed poor, as the prices were quite high for a Burger. If you want to sit outside (Corona summer 2020), there are much nicer and quieter locations. Will not come back here, this was disappointing.

Der Burger war ganz okay, in meinen Augen nichts besonderes. Ich hatte den Chicken Burger, er hat gut geschmeckt aber das war’s dann auch. Ich finde die Preise zu hoch und die Portionen viel zu groß. Wer soll das alles essen? Keiner schafft die Pommes als Beilage, die meisten lassen viel zurückgehen. Schade, so viel Essen wegzuschmeissen. Macht lieber kleinere Portionen und passt die Preise an! Der Nachtisch war lecker aber auch viel zu viel ..

I lived in ATL until mid 2018 and know Buffalo Wings (Wild Wings Cafe) and pulled pork (Georgia)... Both dishes were faaaaar away @ Chongs. I assume it’s the sauce that’s ruining it . Even if you haven’t been to Buffalo / NY or lived the food truck culture , you’d come to the same conclusion. Chong -Nice guy- needs to do a reality check! :(

Wir (2) waren zum Mittagessen dort. Die besten Zwiebelringe mit selbstgemachter!!! Salsa, die ich je gegessen habe. Der Thunfischsalat: SPITZE!!! Burger und Pommes top!!! Man sollte ordentlich Appetit mitbringen, denn die Portionen sind richtig groß!!!!! Ich wollte erst nicht hin, aber bin total froh, doch dabei gewesen zu sein!!!! Typisch US-Diner mit allem Drum und Dran!!!! Wir sich hier nicht wohlfühlt und nicht satt wird, wird’s nirgendwo sonst!!!

Im Chong's stimmt die Preis-Leistung. Riesige Portionen in guter Qualität. Die Burger gibt es mit verschiedensten toppings, hier ist für jeden was dabei und falls nicht kann man immer noch auf ribs oder steak ausweichen. Die Burger schmecken gut aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Was ich allerdings super fand waren die Pommes mit dem speziellen Schnitt, perfekt geeignet für die leckeren Soßen. Wer Lust auf authentische Diner-Atmosphäre hat, ist hier genau richtig.

Die Burger hier sind wirklich lecker, vor allem aber sind die Portionen für die Preise riesengroß. Außerdem ist die Auswahl so riesig, dass garantiert für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Die Atmosphäre und das Ambiente sind auch sehr nett, man fühlt sich, wie in einem echten amerikanischen Diner. Service ist auch gut.

We were here on a Sunday evening and the place was about 30-40% full. The service was extremely friendly and also prompt, and the order was delivered in quick time. We had ordered Buffalo Wings, a Chicken Burger and a Bacon/Swiss Burger. The food presentation was okay and so also the taste, nothing major to write about as compared to other burger joints in Nuremberg. Hence, rated as average.
