We've always enjoyed our meal here. While there isn't a huge selection, everything is very tastefully prepared. You're always left feeling full. The roast pork with dumplings and gravy is a poem.

When we arrived, we were told at first that we weren't allowed to sit at the table where we were sitting, so we moved. A few seconds later, the waiter came out and saw that we had just sat down. When we called him over, we were ignored for the first time and then had to get our menus ourselves, which didn't make a good impression on us either. The food wasn't exactly convincing... But of course, you always have to gain experience, whether good or bad.

The Schäuferle doesn't deserve the name Schäuferle. It was sour and tasted more like rotten meat. The meat was not fresh at all, the sauce was off. The floor in the restaurant was absolutely filthy. My daughter's schnitzel was perfectly fine, but the rest would be 0 stars if that were possible.

We had dinner today for the first time in a while. Once again, the entire meal was oversalted. I also found pieces of plastic in my soup. We won't be eating here again.

They serve generally good food at fair prices. It's a good concept. If I want a schnitzel, I like going there. They might not be able to keep up during festivals. However, everything has been at least good so far, and I've been coming back for over seven years.

The fries were okay, although one frozen one found its way onto my plate. The cordon bleu was dark but still raw in the middle.

The blue house is unfortunately a bit dated. The decor shows that it hasn't been given much attention. Some of the glasses and cutlery are dirty, and the restrooms were tolerable, but anything but presentable. The food is actually decent value for money. However, some dishes were simply poorly portioned. The salads looked like they had been cut yesterday. All in all, an experience you can skip.

After our trip to the folk festival, we were simply hoping for a relaxing dinner. The beer garden was quite nice, hidden behind the large beech hedge, and there was even a small tree. Unfortunately, the first disappointment came when ordering when the dish we wanted was no longer available. Unfortunately, they didn't tell us what was left from the regular menu, which is why subsequent attempts to order something else were unsuccessful. Finally, we found a dish that could still be prepared. The side salad was very generous and delicious. The second person was lucky with their first order, but only when ordering. The beef looked great on the outside, but wasn't cooked through and was therefore neither cut nor chewable. Even after being returned to the kitchen, where it was sliced ​​and seared again, it was still not cooked through on the inside (see photo). The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at this time, early evening; there were a few people sitting with us in the beer garden, and service was quick. We were the second to order. Accordingly, both of us were disappointed with the food, and the service offered no apology. At least there was a dessert on the house, upon request, but unfortunately that didn't make the disappointment from before any better.

Such a shame. Really great card. The soup was very good. The liver was well but partially fried black. Some of the lettuce was from yesterday with a taste and smell from the refrigerator and the lettuce had brown spots and some were weak. Don't save money at the wrong end.

The good, large schnitzel with quite a few fries unfortunately comes with no salad for the price. Drink prices are probably adjusted for the current situation, but not cheap for a poor schoolchild, student or pensioner.

also wir waren ja schon öfters hier aber die letzten 3 mal einfach ein desaster , der harteste schweinbraten der welt der war so hart das ich kauen musste , die sosse wie wasser , der knödel war auch nicht gut, meine beschwerde beim der bedienung , kostet ihn ein müdes lächeln keine kulanz keine entschuldigung nichts, wir hatten noch einen beilagensalat bestellt , angebot war ja der schweinebraten mit wassersosse und knödel für 13 euro 90 ohne salat , als der nach 35 min immer noch nicht gereicht wurde, habe ich ihn wieder abbestellt, die nachspeisen waren auch nicht der burner , kaiserschmarn sicherlich nicht selbergemacht , alles im allen war es das letzte mal das wir dort waren, sehr schlecht geworden und überteuert .... nie wieder

Wir waren zu viert am Samstag 07.09.2024. Mit Essen und Service waren wir alle sehr zufrieden. Wir mussten nicht lange warten und bekamen große Portionen, die auch richtig lecker schmeckten und das zu einem fairen Preis. Ich habe nichts zu meckern oder auszusetzen. Gerne wieder.

We were here after climbing. The service was quick and attentive. The food was good, even with my companion. They could have pointed out before eating that there was no card payment because the device was broken. But I would come here.

Had dinner there at the beginning of June. About the ambience: small but nice beer garden right on the street but that's just how it is in a city 😉 Service: The cellar was quick and very friendly and responded to our every request. Food: normal prices for very good food.

The food tasted really good and the portions were very generous. The side salad was also fresh, large and nothing from a jar. I really liked that the schnitzels were out of the pan. The service was friendly. The ambience is a bit thrown together but functional. Conclusion: Delicious food and large portions at a fair price. I would go there again.

Nine of us were here for dinner on December 30th, 2023, everyone ate something different. The entire meal was outstanding, totally delicious and hot! We can highly recommend the restaurant for eating. One employee handled the entire service plus the counter perfectly. Gladly again.

The food was very good. The portions are large. The schnitzels just fit on the large plates. Points were deducted for service because one force was not enough for the size of the restaurant. Take the order, prepare the drinks at the counter, bring the food to the tables and then collect the money. You have to bring some time, especially on special days like Christmas.

Ein nettes kleines Restaurant, wie einer recht bunten Auswahl an Speisen, das Angebot reicht von Schnitzel bis Gyros. Ich hatte das Schnitzel Cordon Bleu mit Pommes, es war lecker, auch wenn das Fleisch an ein paar Stellen etwas zu zäh war. Und das Personal hier ist auch sehr freundlich.

War mal ein gutes lokal. Leider hat alles sehr nachgelassen. Hätte eigentlich ein Foto von meinen Essen machen sollen und hier reinstellen.

Immer der gleiche hohe Qualitätsstandard

Waren zu zweit im Blauen Haus essen und hatten jeweils einen Salat. Dieser war reichlich und schmackhaft. Leider wird dieser gute Eindruck massiv durch den schlechten Service sowie unzumutbare sanitäre Anlagen getrübt. Die WC-Anlagen sind marode und feucht, das kann man keinem Gast zumuten. Werden deshalb leider nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Leckere Schnitzel aus der Pfanne. Mit üblichen Beilagen. Der Speisesaal ist angelegt wie in einer Kantine mit gutbürgerlicher Stimmung. Weißwein Schorle 5.90€, Guinness 5,90€. Schnitzel Tag Samstag und Sonntag.

Großen Respekt und Lob an die nette Dame im Service. Es war sehr viel los und sie musste alle alleine bedienen und zusätzlich die Getränke ausschenken. Der/die Chef/in sollte das sehr zu schätzen wissen.

Hm hat ein bisschen nachgelassen. Preise ok für Schnitzel wo die Panade blättert. Beilagensalat nur auf Bestellung - Pilze aus der Dose… naja und die Bedienung hat beim Zahlen nicht mal „danke“ übrig gehabt fürs Trinkgeld. Schade; oder hätten wir anstelle von deutsch eher pakistanisch sprechen müssen?! Sehr seltsam; es gibt bekanntlich ja immer ein Wiedersehen und das mach ich auch. Immerhin ist es warm und Pfingstmontag; wer will da schon arbeiten —

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant in Nürnbergs Süden. Da ich nur etwas getrunken habe kann ich zum Essen nichts sagen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man sitzt hier sehr schön. Vollste Zufriedenheit. Ich komme gerne wieder.

War jetzt paar mal am Sonntag Mittag da.... Der Service sehr nett..zuvorkommend ...das Essen bis auf einmal Braten lecker! Braten war nur in Fetzen ..keine Scheiben....kann mal passieren...darf aber normal nicht !

Verzehr im Restaurant | Mittagessen Sehr ansprechende Speisekarte. Großartig zum außen in der Sonne sitzen mit Schirm und Schatten, wenn gewünscht. Wechselnde Angebote am Wochenende. Tipp: Vorsichtshalber ein Gefäß zum Mitnehmen dabei haben, wenn es wieder zu viel ist. Parkplatz: Großer Parkplatz. Darauf achten, das es zwei Zeitzonen für die Parkdauer gibt. Die Plätze sind kostenlos. Zudem ist die Endhaltestelle der Linie 7 nicht weit entfernt.

Super Essen, nette Bedienung und schöne Ambiente. Wir waren zum Abendessen da und die Portion war groß.

Picked up food there twice to get a quick fix during our 2021 takeaway experiences. Their portions sized are huge, so it's kind of good value for money. Do not expect culinary highlights. It's solid, hefty meals like Schnitzel, Corden Bleu, Käsespätzle... all a bit on the heavy side for digestion. Tastes fine though

Am Sonntag gibt es Schäufele, Käsespätzle und Braten als Angebot. Typisches fränkisches Lokal mitten in Nürnberg. Nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Essen war gut und preiswert. Wir kommen wieder.

Wollten am Samstag, um 14.30 Uhr (!!!) Schäufele essen und es war schon aus. Hatten noch reserviert. Es wurde nichts gesagt. Leider hat man uns vorher nicht drauf aufmerksam gemacht. 🙁 Wenigstens war die Bedienung nett.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Bedienung freundlich und ging auch auf Sonderwünsche ein. Ein Geheimtipp mit lecker en Gerichten auf der Karte.

Wir waren mit ein paar Kollegen zum Mittagessen dort. Die Preise sind wirklich niedrig und das Essen ziemlich gut! Keine kulinarischen Höhenflüge, aber gut gemachte Hausmannskost.

Wir gehen eigentlich gerne ins blaue Haus. Das Essen kommt schnell, ist lecker und die Wochenend-Angebote sind unschlagbar. Schade ist jedoch, dass bei den Angebotsessen kein Beilagensalat dabei ist, was immer etwas komisch ist. Wir waren zu 5. da und haben uns zusammen zu den Hauptgerichten einen großen gemischten Salat bestellt,da jeder nur ein bisschen Salat möchte. Erst mal mussten wir uns die extra-Teller selbst holen, wovon einer dreckig war (Essensflecken) und um dann festzustellen, dass wir pro Teller 0,50 EUR Aufschlag zahlen mussten. Bei einer Rechnung von fast 70 EUR ist das nicht gerade gastfreundlich. Vor allem, weil wir wirklich regelmäßig auch ohne Familenfeier ins Blaue Haus gehen. Leider hat das den Eindruck etwas getrübt und in der nächsten Zeit wollen wir erst mal nicht mehr hierher kommen !!! Schade !!!!

Lokal um die Ecke. Gut um den Hunger zu stillen und man kann im Freien sitzen. Nix besonderes...einige Fertigprodukte (gebackener Schafskäse, Spätzle,Pommes). Es schmeckt aber alles. Hatten Schnitzel und Käsespätzle. Der gemischte Salat besteht fast nur aus Grünem Salat. Der könnte besser sein. Wirkt ein bisschen wie ne Dorfwirtschaft
