I loved these festivals. But what is being offered now is an outrage. The prices are exorbitant. And the boldest thing is that they charge an entrance fee.

€2 entry fee for a few stalls, food was consistently miserable - cheapest sausages, hardly any taste at absolutely horrendous prices. Never again

You're not completely clean anymore. The whole event is a rip-off. Ate at four stalls. The taste was okay, but I got angry with the hot dog, €8.50 for a sausage thin as a wire, surrounded by mountains of bread. In general the prices are an absolute disgrace. 12€ for a tiny portion of fries with a dollop of avocado cream on top and a couple of fried chicken pops on top. That the operators of the stands are not ashamed! I always hoped that people with a love of food would run such trucks, but unfortunately, as always, pure greed rules here too. Junk food (there were also one or two reasonably healthy alternatives) at such prices will always take care of itself, at least I really hope so.

Pure disappointment!! 2 euros entry per person aged 14 and over. For what???? We tried 4 different trucks. All 4 were miserable. The quality and quantity of the food was very poor, the taste was a pure disappointment. The price/performance ratio is an absolute disaster.

So where do I start?! I can advise anyone who likes good, inexpensive, fresh and exceptional food not to visit this festival! The festival is taking place this weekend in Hof/Saale (August 24th - August 26th) According to the organizer's website, the festival is free to attend and the stands and trucks offer "taste portions" at a reduced price of a maximum of €4 However, none of this is true! The entrance fee for the entire weekend was 2 euros for each person aged 14 and over. In order to gain entry again the next day and the day after that with the stamp you get for it, please take a photo of it in case it comes off through sweating or showering. Now on to the trucks. Yes, there was a larger selection of different foods from different cultures, but none of the stands actually had any of these sample portions. All dishes were between 5 and 10 euros, and the portions were sometimes small to average. As an example, I had a corn dog with corn flake breading and sauce for €8 and a small portion of churros for €4 (because I didn't want any sauce, normally the small portion costs €5) Except at the corn dog stand, I didn't get the impression that the sellers cared about getting their goods to the customer?! I don't think we'll come here again next year! It is an absolute shame what has become of this event!

Absolute horror! First of all, you pay €2 entry fee to be allowed into the festival in order to look at the few food trucks there are in the burning heat. According to the internet, a Langos food truck was supposed to come - but it didn't even exist. You couldn't trust what was posted on the internet at all. Much fewer trucks that almost only had unusual things, like zebra or camel, that no one wants to eat. The spiral potato, which was the only one I tried, was basically raw and absolutely overpriced at €5. The whole food was absolutely overpriced, a live band didn't play at 6 p.m. and the umbrellas were placed in such a way that you still had to sit in the blazing sun. Really not recommended at all!

Located right on the lake, great variety of food, a few activities for children such as face painting and a trampoline. A live band. But very very expensive and only cash.

Not recommended☝️ You expect a lot of choice or new dishes to try and then you are disappointed. Some cold food and small portions at horrendous prices. Admission was €2 (Regensburg). The whole festival was designed "lovelessly", although it actually had a lot of potential. You can safely skip an event like this.

It is advertised as having “lots of vegan and vegetarian dishes” and we were looking forward to it, but we were more than disappointed. Loveless selection of “vegan” dishes (e.g. flat cakes filled with lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes), you would think that progress should have arrived at least a little bit everywhere. Simply overpriced considering you already pay the entrance fee. Once and never again.

It was our first time and we had imagined the event to be different. The location is okay, but the parking situation is underground and a long walk is inevitable. On Friday evening there was a queue in front of the entrance, but after 5 minutes we went in. Admission is €3 per person, so you can expect an interesting event. In fact, there were relatively few food trucks with “special” food. Prices are all extremely expensive and portions are small. No sample portions under 5€. It's a shame that some food trucks don't advertise any prices at all. Some things aren't homemade (I'm just saying wraps), which I find disappointing because it doesn't really fit the vibe of food trucks in general and even less justifies the price. Few stalls with drinking. Nespresso food truck with capsule coffee is also totally wild, there would have been so many more interesting alternatives for the coffee offer. I don't 100% understand why the food trucks sometimes have their own music playing loudly, which made it very difficult to communicate when there was a band playing live. I can't say anything about the activities for children, but it seemed a little less to me. The area was relatively clean, but all the trash cans were completely full. All in all, I think the value for money is just bad, you pay an entrance fee and then the offerings and food are disappointing. The area is quite large, there could have been more food trucks or even more seats. Wouldn't recommend it, not worth it at all, a real shame.

If you want to spend a lot of money on poor quality, below-average taste and small portions, this is the place for you. Admission is 3 euros so that you even have the opportunity to buy the completely overpriced and very poor-tasting food options. Here you can tell that Hinz and Kuntz set up a booth with little experience. Our highlights: 14 euros for a handful of dry paella that consists almost entirely of rice after a very long wait. 10 euros for a children's portion of fries with a few nuggets. 4 euros for water. Despite the entrance fee, the money is still taken away for the children's fun and games, be it a mini carousel or a trampoline. Of course, completely overpriced here too. I can only advise you to save your money. You miss absolutely nothing.

I give absolutely no star. I think it's a complete impudence to charge 3 euros for entry. For what???? When I go there I want to eat and drink and have fun. I guess I spend enough money there. I went there and preferred to go to a church fair because I had fun too

Unfortunately we couldn't rate the food because we didn't even have the chance to get in. Over 30 minutes after regular opening time the gates were still closed!!! Catastrophic organization! In addition, there was an entrance fee, which was not written anywhere on the posters etc. They saw us and many others who also left. It's just a shame for the food trucks.

Entrance fee 2€ 😞. Attractions for children, 5 minutes 5€ 😳 Otherwise ok.

It was my first time there and unfortunately I have to report that I was really, really disappointed. It started with, they had to move the location. The route there is not for those who are lazy. Entrance fee 2€? for what ? the food there is super expensive. And the taste isn't even great, no matter what you see in the pictures.

The atmosphere is quite nice. The food was just overpriced and unfortunately not of great quality.

One star is already too many! Absolute impudence, 2€ entrance fee, 7 mac'n cheese noodles for €6.50 and only one stand where you could buy a coke for the cheap €4.50. Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be

2 euros entry? For what ? Completely overpriced and the selection is all pretty much the same. fries burgers burritos and co.... Was there for the first time today, I can't recommend it. No card payment possible. Beer garden would have made more sense than stopping by there

Two euros entrance fee to go out to eat. The accompanying program is more reminiscent of a bad company party. No card payment possible. Drinks offer more than poor. In addition to the usual burger trucks, there are at least some exceptional food. But overall it's not worth it at all.

Were there today. It's a shame to pay a 2 euro entrance fee there with the exorbitant prices. On Father's Day even a Father's Day hot dog for 5 euros...ridiculous little thing. Not again. If you do something like that then get better prices otherwise the entry fee wouldn't be justified. Nuremberg is apparently bankrupt. It's sad to advertise something like that because there have been so many bankruptcies lately. For a big city like NBG, the embarrassment after the lockdowns etc. is something like that. Who pays 9 euros for macaroni with cheese 100g pfff never again

Were there for the first time today. Paying €2 entry is really cheeky for no offers at all. It's overpriced and for that money you can eat out properly. I would have expected more, really sad because you could have saved the money and spent it elsewhere.

Foodtruck Festival, schön dass so etwas in der Pandemie Zeit existiert. Aber, die Organisation ist katastrophal. Zu viele Besucher, oder zu wenige Mitarbeitern? Sie haben nicht mit einem so massiven Besuch gerechnet,oder? Warten, warten und einfach nur warten: Eingang, Essen, Getränke, freier Platz am Tisch, und schließlich die Ausfahrt…40 Minuten im Auto vom Parkplatz bis zu ersten Ampel(ca 100m)?! Ein Euro Kaution für eine Flasche Cola ( oder egal was), und bei der Rückgabe eine weitere Schlange von ca 50 Personen? Frechheit! Drei Sterne sind für Ribwich und Holländische Süßigkeiten!
