Were on the way back from a family vacation today. Spontaneously with 8 people to the Siegls. Three tables were immediately pushed together and before we knew it we already had the drinks. The food is great, I haven't had such a good sauerbraten for a long time! All of the food was truly to die for! Many thanks to the boss and his team for this great end to the holiday.

As always, completely satisfied.

Der Gasthof zum Bay ist bei unseren Besuchen im Bayerwald ein absolutes Muss. Das viergängige Sylvestermenu war (wie zu erwarten) köstlich. Die Preise für die durchaus überdurchschnittliche Küche sind mehr als angemessen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freund-lich (man kennt sich mittlerweile). Ein großes Plus ist, dass man sich beim Bay sowohl im Winter in der Stube, als auch im Sommer im idyllischen Innenhof wohlfühlen kann. Wir sind seit ca. vier Jahren regelmäßig im Bay und ein Lob für Küche, Bedienung und Ambiente ist angesagt.

We were only here for a visit. The food was or is good, the atmosphere was fine. The service is very nice. To say goodbye there was a choice of Ramazzotti or another schnapps.

Went there spontaneously with my child and dog. The dog wasn't a problem at all, everyone welcomed it very, very kindly, asked the service whether a water bowl would be desired. (Thank you very much for that) also free choice of seats. pleasant atmosphere, not too rustic/modern, just very inviting. Despite the name and appearance, not taken off! the food was first class. The roast pork, salmon steak and schnitzel "Viennese style" 🤤 Value for money... Absolutely great! (Diesel, juice spritzer, water, coffee, latte and the three dishes + piece of cake for 64 euros) However, one thing totally threw us off our feet.. The piece of stuffed bee sting🙌 MEGA. Many thanks to the service and chefs for this all-round great stay with you. 🙏
