We were only here for a visit. The food was or is good, the atmosphere was fine. The service is very nice. To say goodbye there was a choice of Ramazzotti or another schnapps.

Simply great. We have been coming to VIP again and again since 2019. From schnitzel to game, everything was very good. The pepper sauce is a poem! Innovative - this is where we first got to know the kookie cocktail years ago. If you want to experience a nice evening in a beautiful ambience, this is the right place for you.

Der Gasthof zum Bay ist bei unseren Besuchen im Bayerwald ein absolutes Muss. Das viergängige Sylvestermenu war (wie zu erwarten) köstlich. Die Preise für die durchaus überdurchschnittliche Küche sind mehr als angemessen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freund-lich (man kennt sich mittlerweile). Ein großes Plus ist, dass man sich beim Bay sowohl im Winter in der Stube, als auch im Sommer im idyllischen Innenhof wohlfühlen kann. Wir sind seit ca. vier Jahren regelmäßig im Bay und ein Lob für Küche, Bedienung und Ambiente ist angesagt.
