We booked the Valentine's Day event and we really, really enjoyed it. Tasteful three-course menu, excellently prepared by Kilian Schön, and we were allowed to help with the preparation. Great ambience, great food, great atmosphere! Gladly again!

In Amberg - the locals say - there used to be 9 different breweries ( nowadays there are only 5 left? if I'm not mistaking too much) and Bruckmuller is one of those places. Situated in the central area of the Old Town - inside the old city walls - in the building of the former monastery ( hence the logo with the happy, beer drinking monk) - same building that is home to the Stadttheater too. The location is great - old stone building - and a large seating capacity in several different rooms - however if you want to be sure, just book a table in advance , it tends to get crowded. Service is very fast - like every where in Bavaria. The food , well a lot of good choices on the menu - I went for the Schaufele a typical Franconian dish - but I was happy to find it here too ... Beer selection is also great - I've tasted a few of the ( like 5 ) but there is more to be "tasted". Prices - very decent - and you can pay with card. Overall a great place I do recommend you try it when in Amberg.

Durch Zufall hier gestrandet, die Servicemitarbeiterin war super freundlich und hat ein wirklich gutes Fachwissen und ein ganz besonders Lächeln. Wir saßen wunderschön im freien,aus der Nähe hörte man leise Livemusik. Essen war toll, tolle Auswahl und wirklich sehr schmackhaft. Es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt hier in Frankreich äh Amberg. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder und genießen einen Kurzurlaub. Herzlichen Dank dafür

The tortilla I ordered was inedible. Carelessly packaged so that the contents fell apart. Previously, this place had positive reviews for me. After today I don't know if I will stay here again.
