I ordered & picked up today. Unfortunately, it wasn't a particularly great experience either, from the high price (even higher at Lieferando than locally, but even there they have different and outdated prices and you never really know exactly how much it costs) to the long waiting time to the raw vegetables in the curry 🥹 it's a shame, I used to like it too
Our visit this time was preceded by a previous one, both of which can be described as “mixed”!
We were happy to give this a second chance because the food is great and the value for money is absolutely right!
First of all: the food was great on both visits, and the quality of the food was also impeccable, really! But service and “drum-rum” are rather inconsistent!
We made reservations in advance by phone and the interaction was friendly and warm. The two of us arrived at Weitblick at the agreed time, the restaurant was well attended at that time.
We were hectically allocated a table ("the one over there") and we happily took a seat with (still good) optimism. From that moment on we didn't see anyone from the service for a full 25(!) minutes! No menus were brought and no drink requests were accepted! 25 minutes long! Unfortunately, we also noticed that guests who arrived significantly later received a card and drinks promptly. The whole thing is incomprehensible!
Just as we decided to leave the restaurant, cards were hectically brought and drinks were taken. From that moment on the “machinery” worked
Drinks arrived, the soup we ordered was really good and shortly afterwards the main courses with side dishes. Everything is consistent. The steak was roughly English (as ordered) so plus/minus... Within the scope of possibilities.
Cordon Bleu was great and salads were great too!
It took a long time to clear the plates and unfortunately also until we could pay! A lot of time has passed!
We like the food but what's around it isn't fully represented here, unfortunately!
As we all know, the eye eats too😉The show with the dry ice makes a great impression, but the sushi itself wasn't good and unfortunately not worth the price.
Been there twice recently. The first visit was for brunch, then recently for “Neuburg bar hopping”.
The brunch was very solid, the food was good, the service was friendly and overall we had a good time. Personally, I don't find the view of the street through the large windows, where half the city is watching you eat, that appealing. Overall it would definitely have been worth 4 stars to me.
However, when bar hopping, the Elisenlounge team seemed completely overwhelmed. The store was well stocked but not overflowing at the seams. Nevertheless, our second round of drinks was completely lost. We sat in front of our empty glasses for almost an hour and wondered where the drinks we ordered were. The few waitresses were completely on the dive, even though we were sitting relatively centrally. When our original waitress actually came back, they said two trays had fallen down and our drinks were probably there. There was a brief apology, but in other bars I was at least offered a small discount or a coffee on the house for such problems. It's a shame, all the other bar hopping stations we went to afterwards accommodated the additional guests better.
Very great restaurant.
Nice service, nice view.
Also very good food 🍴
There is a playground for children so that parents can let the children jump without having to worry about a car coming.
In addition, the parking lot is not a 1-minute walk away as described on Google Maps, you actually almost fall into the restaurant.
You can sit comfortably outside and enjoy your drinks 🍻 with a great view and good food.
We were here on business trips, really good food, everyone was very satisfied. Visually the restaurant looks a bit boring, but the chef knows what they are doing.
