The "Grüner Baum" in Linx is a real insider tip in our area. This family-run business – a father in the kitchen, mother and son serving – does a truly excellent job. All the dishes on the menu are freshly prepared and taste delicious. The service is outstanding. Guests feel very welcome, and we always have great conversations. They really take the time to listen to their guests and are very attentive to their requests. The selection and value for money are absolutely excellent. We enjoy going there often. Advance reservations are recommended. Tables are only booked once per evening, so guests can enjoy the evening without any time pressure.

The food here is absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous. The bread and pizza dough are especially amazing! The staff is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Everything is also very clean, which adds to the great dining experience. Thank you for these wonderful flavors!

Hello, today we went to the Grüner Baum following a recommendation. Beautiful old half-timbered house from 1685, large rustic beer garden with children's play area. Friendly service, super nice owner, fine food, received quickly & generous portions. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back ☀️ August 1st, 2020 - the country event in the rustic beer garden was well attended and the weather was passable. The “Texas plate” with the wonderful pulled pork, the delicious spare ribs & the great BBQ sausages from the smoker together with the baked breads from the kettle & the American coleslaw tasted excellent. The musical entertainment skilfully met the tastes of the guests and encouraged them to sing along. We are already looking forward to the next visit 🙋 May 23rd, 2021 - Whitsun Sunday - finally open again. Eating out again with a negative corona test and hygiene measures. Wonderful feeling. 😻 June 18, 2022 - Went there for a snack ☀️ October 16, 2022 - Oktoberfest, white sausage breakfast 🙋 12/23/2022 - Simply enjoy delicious housewife food without any reason. Nino del Garda played excellently; There was already dancing before the buffet opened. We had hit the jackpot with our table neighbors. Very nice people for a fun, entertaining & enjoyable evening 🥳 02/14/2025 - Sodele, last night we went to the Italian-German Valentine's dinner. Fine starter & salad buffet, three soups & several main courses to choose from & dessert buffet (unfortunately I had to pass here; the previous courses were too tasty) 😋 The atmosphere was excellent. Nino del Garda skillfully performed it for everyone's enjoyment. Even before dinner there was a lot of dancing. At an advanced hour there was karaoke. Very funny! 🥳

The meat is excellent and the quantity more than sufficient. Very simple in the dishes but the quality and taste are top notch and we like to come back for that. Well done!

Restaurant discovered by chance. Really the typical German village bistro with the regulars having their aperitif. Really delicious and flavorful grilled chicken. Service by the owner who makes an effort to speak in French

Overall everything was perfect except that we were the only guests and the room lacked heating. Apart from this last remark I recommend this restaurant.

Nice place if you don't have a dog with you. We took our dog with us on holiday and wanted to teach her to swim here. But the picture from the front says that the dogs will not be in the water tomorrow. Which I find very strange. This is just a puddle of water, not a swimming pool or anything. It is also not explained anywhere why this should not be allowed. For the rest it was nice with a bar Enzo, they speak a little English so we could make our plan. There is a small beach where you can chill on. Quite a nice place!

We were at Schwanen in "Bische" at Easter. There was a 5-course Easter menu and it was really good. We were all super satisfied and every course was a pleasure. My personal highlight was the salad and the beef cheeks were so tender that you didn't need a knife. 5 stars!

A very cozy and incredibly stylish atmosphere. The menu has something for every taste and uses high-quality ingredients. There are also a few specialties to choose from in the small integrated shop. You feel comfortable and welcome here - you receive friendly service and never have to wait long.
