Nice place if you don't have a dog with you. We took our dog with us on holiday and wanted to teach her to swim here. But the picture from the front says that the dogs will not be in the water tomorrow. Which I find very strange. This is just a puddle of water, not a swimming pool or anything. It is also not explained anywhere why this should not be allowed. For the rest it was nice with a bar Enzo, they speak a little English so we could make our plan. There is a small beach where you can chill on. Quite a nice place!

Unfortunately, the cooking wasn't going well. Unfortunately, our fries were completely full of fat and the cordon bleu wasn't particularly big either. The deep fryer was probably too cold, or the fries were pre-fried even though there was nothing going on. The salad was lukewarm and unfortunately not cooled. I'm sorry, but your cook can't actually cook and her boyfriend drinks behind the scenes when no one is looking. But the boss and the boss are really cute. Very attentive and nice and always with a little small talk at the table. I think it's great that there's still a pub like this, but unfortunately the food isn't that special and a lot of it comes from the freezer. Two other guests complained during our stay.

Everything is perfect here: quaint, cozy inn, super friendly service, great service (the dog was also well looked after) and very good food - the schnitzel dishes are "gigantic" in the truest sense of the word and extremely tasty. The Oxen is not for people who want chic or event catering, it is a real recommendation for those who like good cuisine, great service and a cozy inn. We'll be back!

Beautifully renovated, old half-timbered house with modern furnishings. The map is manageable. Everything is cooked fresh from regional products. Monday & Tuesday is “chicken day”, Wednesday there is tarte flambée. Each with a few daily recommendations. The chicken was super tasty, nice and crispy and juicy. The fries are a hit. You sit comfortably and pleasantly warm, thanks to the beautiful tiled stove. We would love to come back 🌻 Hey, we stopped by the “Goldener Anker” again last night. The historic half-timbered house was built in 1710 as a schoolhouse and later also used as a town hall 🤩 The meals are very tasty and lavishly sized 😋 As an “insider tip” the special seasoning and preparation established the “Poschdgarde-Hähnle” 🌸
