There is very tasty food. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's always worth a visit.

Very good food, nice restaurant

Great and honest food that puts you in a good mood. I happened to pass it by chance on the way through and luckily stopped here. The starter with the small lamb's lettuce was deliciously dressed and the bacon was great. The autumn cordon bleu was incredibly tasty, fried to perfection, perfectly seasoned, well filled. I agree with the other reviews, I've never had a better meal. Plus large portions, no one gets up hungry. The apple spritzer was homemade and just as it should be. Very friendly and personable service. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality. The interior was charming and you can have a good time here. I will remember the address and will be happy to come back.

I can't say anything about the rooms because we only ate. The food 🥘 was very, very tasty 😋 priced absolutely ok and the portion was more than generous. We were well fed. We had drinks including wine 🍷 a salad for starters and two main courses. The pork medallions were great, as was the spaetzle. The schnitzel with fries (Vienna style) was good. The salad was particularly good. Big praise 👍very fresh and a great dressing 👏at the beginning bread 🥖 was served with a spread. There are parking spaces behind the house. We got a place for two without a reservation.

I've never tasted such good cordon bleu! Nice and crispy, not dry at all and very well seasoned. The side dishes and other dishes were also great: pork medallions and rump steak fried to perfection. Only the traffic and the flies (which nobody can do anything about) were a little annoying, but you're happy to accept that for a meal like this... :)

We stayed at the Roter Ochsen at the weekend. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was also good. We will come back. The boss was also very friendly

We can't say anything about the rooms, but we've eaten there twice in the last few weeks and absolutely loved it. The meat is on point, the composition of the dishes is simply delicious and typically Baden and the service is excellent. Price-performance ratio was impeccable. We are really looking forward to the next time at the Roter Ochsen and wish the operator continued good reviews :)

We were there for a big family celebration. The food was excellent from the first course. The pork fillet and beef steak were perfectly seasoned for my taste, and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The service didn't quite keep up with the drinks, but that was perfectly acceptable with so many guests.

Very good quality of the food. Vegetables al dente. Salad is so delicious. Meat juicy and well cooked. Homemade spaetzle. So I come here more often.

Ein Familieres Restaurant mit Eigentlich Guter Küche Heute waren wir mit der ganzen Familie erneut hier. Vielleicht hatte der koch heute einen schlechten Tag essen war maximal okay. Bedingungen wie immer sehr freundlich wir hatten dennoch einen netten Abend

Der Rote Ochsen ist immer wieder die erste Adresse weit und breit. Exzellente Küche mit frischen Zutaten und kreativer Note, perfekter, unaufdringlicher Service und angenehmes Ambiente.

Eigentlich können wir unsere Bewertung mit einem Wort zusammen fassen, vom Hauptgericht bis Dessert, sowie der Service perfekt. Jederzeit wieder

Après avoir été refoulés au Rhinkaechele, côté français, nous sommes allés déjeuner en couple dans ce restaurant ! Super accueil, service excellent et rapide et les cordons bleus énormes et exquis ! Nous avons aussi pris une coupe de glace, la glace et la chantilly sont maison ! Je recommande ce restaurant

Ein sehr schönes Lokal, alles sehr sauber und neu. Das warme Essen war sehr lecker. Leider keine Spur von Herzlichkeit, weder beim check in noch im Verlauf des Abends und am nächsten Tag beim Frühstück.Auf die Frage, ob es koffeinfreien Kaffee gibt kam nur:" Nee." Es wurde keine Alternative angeboten. Zum Frühstück hatten wir Freunde eingeladen und diese im Vorfeld angemeldet. Auf Nachfrage nach einem weiteren Brötchen wurde gesagt, die sind pro Person berechnet. Ein Teller mit fünf halben Scheiben Käse und sechs Scheiben Wurst für vier Personen. Auf der Website wird ein reichhaltiges Frühstück beworben.Das Frühstück war wenig und keine Auswahl. Kein Stück Obst, kein Joghurt etc.Nie die Frage ob man noch etwas benötigt oder alles gut ist. Beim check out das Gefühl, dass man sich freut, dass die Gäste gehen.Auch hier kein auf Wiedersehen und keine Frage nach der Zufriedenheit. Wir werden hier wohl eher nicht mehr herkommen, damit wir als Gäste nicht den Ablauf des Betriebes stören. Schade.

Gutes Essen, appetitlich angerichtet und geschmacklich sehr fein, Deutsche Küche mit netten Aufsetzern Leider wird im Gastraum geraucht und es stehen Spielautomaten da. Im grossen Speisesaal kann es wegen fehlender Akustikdecken sehr laut werden, Terrasse direkt an der Hauptstraße ist zwar ein netter Versuch, aber ungemütlich Übernachtungszimmer sind ganz okay, frisch renoviert, aber unpersönlich
