A small family business where everything is freshly prepared - and you can taste it too. I've been eating at Umut for a few years now and I have to say: the kebab is simply outstanding. In my opinion there is no one better in our area. Anyone who knows a little about kebab will agree with me. With the first bite you can immediately taste the freshness of the vegetables, the meat is juicy and the bread is wonderfully crispy. Especially in the last quarter of the kebab, the meat juice collects in the bread - that's the icing on the cake for this unique taste. Try the kebab, whether it's veal or chicken - you won't be disappointed. By the way, the chicken kebab here is prepared completely differently than usual and is a real recommendation!

We ordered for the first time about 3 weeks ago. Three pizzas and an Italian salad. Everything was really delicious. Ordered again today. Three times of pasta and another Italian salad. Unfortunately the paste was a bit dry because there wasn't enough sauce. There was leaf parsley in today's Italian salad, which was definitely not there last time, and so much that the salad only tasted like it. Unfortunately we would be disappointed today.

Quaint village pub. The food (schnitzel with fries and salad) was delicious. We were there without a table reservation during the week, there was no free space left. We were then allowed to sit down somewhere. That was a nice gesture, something you almost don't find anymore these days. This is how you get to know nice people. :)

Weltklasse Wiener Schnitzel von Kalb. Großartig. Toller Service. Uns wurde die Zubereitung auch genau erklärt und die Bedienungen waren äußerst freundlich. Wir waren begeistert.

Good food for a pleasant price.

Food is very tasty and plentiful. And thanks to the new coffee machine, the coffee is very good. I know of 2 employees - both very friendly and accommodating. As is usual in canteens, self-service is the order of the day. The furnishings are essentially practical and functional, but not without a "basic" charm.

Die Preise sind total überzogen. Dafür die Getränke zu klein oder zu viele Eiswürfel. Der Aushilfe Service wechselt ständig. Die Inneneinrichtung verbesserungsbedürftig. Essen mal gut mal weniger.

War mit einer Freundin im Januar 2025 da. Hatte einen Teller mit Dorade und Rosmarinkartoffeln. Das war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war superfreundlich. Weiß nicht, woher die schlechten Bewertungen kommen, vielleicht fand auch ein Pächterwechsel statt. Wir waren auf jeden Fall sehr zufrieden. Meine Freundin hatte Pasta mit Garnelen, auch diese Portion war reichlich. Ich kann das Restaurant empfehlen.
