I don't usually review the restaurants I go to, but the food is simply excellent. Finally, a place that serves good, traditional Baden cooking. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

We were there late at night and had a good experience. The service seemed a bit hectic, but was consistently friendly. Drinks arrived promptly, and the food arrived after about 15 minutes – absolutely fine. The portions were fair for the price and very tasty. Overall, a pleasant evening; we'd be happy to come back!

We sat for about an hour and a half until our food was ready, then another hour before it arrived. Service wasn't great, and the food wasn't anything special for the price.

Terrible service. We had to wait an hour before we were allowed to order. Meanwhile, guests who arrived after us had already received their food. We constantly made eye contact and were consistently ignored. After ordering, it took another hour for the food to arrive. No one apologized. The food was solid, but nothing special for the price.

Poor, uncaring service, so many staff, and no one seems to have a plan!! The beer garden is just as uncaring as the service and the dishes. We won't be coming back.

I would give it zero stars if it were possible. The service was absolutely terrible, very slow and not at all customer-oriented. You get the feeling that you're not welcome there and the staff doesn't really want to serve any more guests. The laminated menu is very cheap, the food is mediocre at best, but the prices are way over the top. We were there on Sunday, August 31st, with three children. The beer garden was full. But there were also six waiters and one barman. A total of a maximum of 120 guests. So, for six waiters, no stress. We had to wait 45 minutes for the food (we ordered the same thing four times!). The salad that accompanied one schnitzel didn't arrive at all, and the waiter didn't respond to our reminder when paying. If you want to be full for an exorbitant amount of money, then you can do it; otherwise, I can only advise against it.

We were there two years ago, and I ate sour kidneys, just like on Sunday. They were absolutely delicious back then, but on Sunday they weren't worth the price they charged for them. The side salad was inedible, only the fried potatoes, which were also getting smaller, were OK. It's a shame how they're trampling on the quality there now and still charging money for something that was 100% different two years ago. It's a real shame; we won't be going there anymore.

We arrived in the evening and had something to eat there! We received a friendly welcome and were given a good table! The service was friendly and helpful, and the food came relatively quickly! It was truly delicious, so you know why you're treating yourself! The price/performance ratio was absolutely perfect, and the portions were just right! Good quality! We'll be back! We were there again yesterday evening, August 23rd! The service had declined!

We discovered it by chance and ended up in a very nice beer garden. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was very friendly. If it weren't 700 km away, we would definitely come back. We highly recommend it. 😋👌👌👌😋😋

It's a really good, cozy, classic German beer garden. Not particularly suitable for vegetarians, though, but what else would you expect from a classic beer garden that focuses on schnitzel? You can even get a seat for a larger group if you've been let down by the inferior L'Osteria.

Especially in summer, there's a large beer garden and the price/performance ratio is also good.

I had dinner here today with my whole family (10 people). The food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long. The service was very friendly, especially our waiter, Raphale. Maybe he'll be the waiter at my confirmation reception, too; that would be great. We'd love to come again.

THE beer garden in Offenburg. No frills—and that's a good thing!

There were six of us there. The service was poorly coordinated and at times unfriendly. A simple "hello" and "goodbye" shouldn't have been enough. The food was okay and came quickly, but paying was difficult, as some of us wanted to pay with cards, while others wanted to pay in cash. This apparently earned us the displeasure of the waiter. He was annoyed because he had to come to the table to collect the cash. The separate accounting for the drinks and food also seemed to be a nuisance.

It was very nice and we would love to come back. Are often there to eat. It's just beautiful

The worst service I've ever experienced!! First time there and absolutely shocked! Drinks were forgotten several times and even after asking, they only arrived 10 minutes later. Asking if I wanted another drink was never even asked. There was no apology for repeatedly forgotten drinks either. The schnitzel I ordered arrived relatively quickly, but the tarte flambée didn't arrive for another 20 minutes!!! The other plates were empty by the time I could start. The spaetzle I ordered later simply didn't come with any salad, even though it's included on the menu. To top it all off, the bill was incorrectly numbered for drinks and there was no acknowledgment or apology for all the shortcomings I mentioned!! At least the food was delicious.

Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside because of the weather. Inside traditionally German decorated. Very nice and quick service. Dinner of the day was pancakes with asparagus and minced meat. Very special combination and we had to get used to it. But certainly not bad.

This place is a bit of a lunar place, zero service, we waited for a waiter to seat us for a very long time, only to be told to go and sit down on our own - then we waited a very long time for someone to come and no one came. We left... The staff pretended to ignore us, even though no one seemed underwater. Not a very welcoming place...

Unfortunately, the beer garden has a more than questionable reputation. Known for the fact that right-wing groups regularly meet there - that speaks volumes about the audience and the attitude that seems to be tolerated here. For many people it is an absolutely unpleasant and unsafe environment. Anyone who likes exclusion and intolerance may feel comfortable here - everyone else is better off avoiding the place. A clear no-go.

Visited a Saturday evening in November. Walked in, no reservation, and seated at a table promptly. Menu offered English version of items. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Salad was amazing. Entree good and generous portion.

The old brewery and the old LIFA cinema around the beer garden were demolished, apartments are now being built around the beer garden. We just hope that the beer garden will continue to be preserved and that no new residents will complain about the noise, after all, the beer garden was there BEFORE them there!

Sehr, sehr schneller und freundlicher Service, obwohl der Biergarten voll war. Kühle Getränke.. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker und kam sehr schnell. Wir hatten: Schlemmersalat, Schnitzel und Saure Leber bestellt. Es gibt überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Da trinkt man lieber Cola. Und die Schnitzel waren so schlecht. Das kann jede Kneipe besser. Der Laden ist genau so schlecht, wie das Stadtbild von Offenburg. Nie wieder gehen wir dahin.
