The food is good, I'd love to come again.

Okay, the waiters are very polite, very professional, and attentive, which is why they deserve 5 stars. But: the cordon bleu was a disaster! The cheese was more water than cheese and pale, like condensed milk. Either it came from a large-scale factory, frozen from a cooler, or the chef has no idea how to make a good cordon bleu. The fries were tasty, but only a handful on the plate? And for almost €28 for that? Honestly, there are plenty in the Ortenau region that do it worlds better! I personally enjoyed the salad. Conclusion: Please cook with good ingredients and don't cut corners. Thank you.

We attended a wedding here a few weeks ago. Honestly, I've rarely experienced such poor service. It was complete chaos. Aside from the tour group that was waiting outside due to a double booking, it felt like none of the staff had any idea what to do. We had to wait an incredibly long time for our drinks, even though at one point there were eight employees milling around behind the bar. The drinks, such as summer spritzer and Aperol, were mixed together haphazardly and not prepared according to the recipe. For example, summer spritzer suddenly came with Havana... all very questionable. Unfortunately, the food was just as miserable as the drinks. There was a barbecue buffet that was poorly set up. The warming containers were dirty, and the food was pre-cooked hours before it was served, which resulted in the meat and salmon being extremely dry. Barbecue sauces weren't served until half the guests had already finished eating. Due to a miscalculation regarding the quantity of side dishes, they simply improvised and put everything the freezer had to offer on the table. All in all, it was not tasty, not professional, and a completely unsuitable performance by the Brauwerk team for the occasion. It should also be mentioned that the venue was simply not clean. The windows of the building desperately need cleaning, the beer garden needs mowing, and the outdoor tables need sanding or repainting. There are tons of weeds growing on the roof terrace, and the floor in the restaurant itself was simply filthy. A child crawled on the floor and ended up with black hands from all the dirt. The restrooms were also not clean. I don't even want to start on the pile of old glass next to the venue. All in all, I find it terrible how such a beautiful venue has become so run down and how poor the service was. We will definitely NOT be back! The only positive point: The tarte flambée was freshly prepared and was really good.

I'm still wondering if there was actually meat in the meatballs. The taste was a disaster, as was the over-salted potato salad. The lettuce leaf used for decoration was a bad joke (half-rotten). The service was also poor. I was reminded twice for ketchup, and the third time I got it myself. By the way, I'm still waiting for the bread I ordered as a side dish. 🤷‍♂️I've rarely eaten such a bad meal.

Good brewery restaurant with everything that goes with it.

Cozy beer garden with a truly lovely atmosphere! I especially like that the beer is served traditionally in a stein – simply hearty and unique. A great place to enjoy a cold beer with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a real brewery feel!

We were there as a group, and everyone was dissatisfied with their food, and the dessert was also disappointing. It was actually a nice location, but there were a few negative things, such as sticky floors and tables, and unclean restroom stalls.

The food is very good, especially the schnitzel. The service is good, and the food came quickly. However, you have to keep in mind that it wasn't very busy today. I personally wouldn't recommend the non-alcoholic pilsner. The restaurant is very cozy and inviting, both inside and out.

The service was a disaster; there were very long waits from the time we ordered drinks until they arrived at our table. Side dishes were served, but the schnitzel arrived 10 minutes later. The food tasted good.

It was okay...👍🏻 I had the Baden trio. Sausage salad was good, the fried potatoes were a bit overcooked and a bit bland, and the quark had almost no flavor. Season the food a bit better, and next time I'll give it another star.

The food (schnitzel with fries and classic tarte flambée) was excellent, with fairly large portions. The salad was also very well seasoned. Very friendly and attentive service, and the host was humorous. Only the cleanliness of the dining room and the restrooms could be improved. Nice beer garden with large umbrellas. A very large parking lot.

I was at Brauhaus Baden with guests from outside Germany who were looking forward to typical German classics like sauerkraut and pretzels. Both were on the menu, but neither was available. Regarding the sauerkraut, they said, "Only available in winter" – this wasn't stated on the menu or the website. The white sausages came without pretzels, and when asked, the only response was, "We don't have any left." That was particularly disappointing when you're really looking forward to them. The cheese spaetzle were also very bland and lacked any real flavor. The portions were large and filling, but overall, I got the impression that the young team clearly lacked restaurant experience. Another negative: The restaurant isn't air-conditioned. Upon entering, we were immediately met with a wall of heat; it was really uncomfortably warm inside. For me, this was my first and last visit.

Yes, it's a lovely place, the owner is very friendly. The food is home-style and very tasty. The food arrived after only a 12-minute wait.

Authentic Baden specialties: None today. On a somewhat rainy Monday, they decided to send the staff home. The service was listless, unmotivated, and complained to us repeatedly that there was nothing going on and therefore it wasn't worth running the kitchen. The chef, who was still there, made himself (!) a meal, but the few guests weren't offered anything: no alternative, no fries—nothing at all. The pretzel basket was still full, but that wasn't offered either. A disgrace for a brewery at 8:30 p.m. We were disappointed.

Beer is a matter of taste, but it's solid. The schnitzel and fries were unseasoned, as was the sauce (salt and pepper would have been good). The staff were unprepared for the amount of money and were generally very unprofessional. The price-performance ratio wasn't good. A shame :(

The food was truly delicious—nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the service was anything but good. We waited 18 minutes before anyone even came to our table and brought us the menus. Another 15 minutes passed before our order was taken. The restaurant was occupied by about 8 people outside and about 30 inside—so it was manageable. Nevertheless, the staff seemed overwhelmed. When asked why everything was taking so long, the only response was, "I can't do much more than walk."—understandable, but not exactly customer-friendly. Perhaps they should consider hiring more staff. After all, good food deserves good service.

Food was acceptable. Service forgot half of the order, handed out the wrong menus and came across as completely overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't even remotely full. Overall it was a rather disappointing visit.

I've been there several times, unfortunately with mixed experiences. The beer and the schnitzel are good, everything else is a matter of luck. The staff isn't always very friendly, depending on the shift. Furthermore, the quality of some of the dishes is subpar; for example, the spaetzle were soggy twice. On one visit, my companion ordered steak, which was not medium, but rather raw and rare. The chef took it back and cooked it well-done, after which it was as hard as a shoe sole.

Different beers, delicious food, good service

Visually nice ambience, but the space available during the dart tournament is a disaster. How can you accept a dinner party when there is so much going on here? You can hardly get through. The players also complain. I would recommend not putting such fat tables in the middle at all and working with bar tables. I won't come to a tournament like this again.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that tasty and the prices were quite ambitious. It was pizza day when we were there. The pizzas were all pretty dark or black on the edges and consisted of very! lots of edge. That can be quite tasty, but the dough, especially the edge, was quite crunchy and soggy. Of all 5 pizzas we ordered, the crust was mostly gone. Unfortunately, this was not questioned. The tarte flambée was good. I didn't know what the masses of parsley had lost on the salad. Unfortunately, the selection for vegetarians was rather limited, which I always find a shame. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was typical brewery. If you like it meaty and hearty, you're in good hands here. I think it's a bit out of date.

Cozy, quiet atmosphere and delicious food

We visited this place today with great expectations and unfortunately we were completely disappointed. There was no food ordered and nothing was mentioned in advance. Unfortunately there is also a lack of hygiene and it is very dirty. We were very disappointed and left after a drink without food. It's a shame, because you could do something really nice out of this location.

Side salad was good and tasty, Flädelesuppe was not outstanding, meatballs and potato salad were not appropriate for the price. In terms of taste, the meatballs seemed to be older or at least had been reheated several times. Other guests at the neighboring table had their spaetzle cold and complained about this. Overall, it is no longer the usual good level from earlier days.

Unfortunately very disappointing 😕. Were there with 15 people for a company outing. On the positive side, the quantities were very large and the waiting time was OK. With my herb quark potatoes there was no herb quark but cottage cheese, the bad thing was that it had tipped over!!!!! The fact that this is happening is bad enough. ......But there was no serious apology!!!!! There was the same dish again... I think that's the least of it! No compensation, no compensation from cook or waitress! By the way, the cook was very grubby when he was outside. There was a very dirty apron hanging in the cloakroom, the outside area was filthy and the toilets were a mess! He was very rude, bad and loud, and on top of that he called his employee a sweetheart... That's not possible. Was there for the last time. Not recommended. Oh yes, the hot chocolate didn't taste good either...

The pork schnitzel with spaetzle and cream sauce was very tasty. The spaetzle were homemade and the breading was very fine. The ambience with the cauldrons was very attractive. Six of us were there at 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday and got a table without any problems. Our dog also received a friendly welcome and was given a bowl of water. Gladly again.

Haven't been here for a while. But again... Food delicious, service friendly. The order was taken quickly and 10 minutes later it was there! Top. I absolutely cannot understand the bad 1 star reviews here. ((Everything in the last 4-5 months)) Presumably there was a new team that had to get used to it?! Or just some complainers who give extremely bad reviews because of little things!?! Either way. Everything was great! 👍

The beer garden is nice and beautifully designed. What overshadowed the visit, however, was the following experience: It is offered to request reservations via WhatsApp. So I did this too. In response to my query I received a simple “ok”. Apparently you are only partially valued as a guest here. Well, that's the only reason we didn't let that stop us from visiting (contrary to my initial intention). When we arrived there, we were warmly welcomed and offered a free choice of reserved tables. However, the first drink order failed because the waiter mixed up “Pils” and “Naturwolke”. The food was tasty and good. After we received noticeably little attention from the service staff after our meal, we were no longer able to have our empty glasses refilled and finally moved on to another location.

We've actually always been happy so far. The last two times it was not recommended. After I ordered my Schäufele, the waiter went past the boss and got the order “but smaller portions”. My portion looked like someone had scraped out the pots in the kitchen. We were there last time. For the price we went home hungry.

I like to be outside in the beer garden in the summer and it's also good to sit inside in the cold season. The food is always good and in pleasant portions. I've never been disappointed with what I've been served. Overall, a solid and tasty meal.

Super friendly service, good food, it's nice to sit inside and outside, everything works like clockwork. We'll be happy to come back - and now (October 2024) you can finally pay cashless with a card again, we've got the 5th star and we'll come back more often (I almost never have cash with me)!

We were here with almost 35 people. Eating together was not possible at all. The service already cleared away, then the last meal came (waiting for an hour and asking 4 times). Eating alone is exactly the thing if you are traveling as a group. The cordon bleu I ordered was completely missing vegetables, some were missing the side dishes or you only got the side dishes after the meat was cold... it was delicious. You have to say that, but something like that just doesn't work.

The käsespätzle had nothing to do with käsespätzle at all, friends of mine waited forever for their food and then there were side dishes missing that sometimes didn't come at all, like spaetzle and sauce

Some dishes can only be ordered with alternative solutions or are no longer in stock, sometimes served incompletely.

At the beginning of the year I went there for dinner with my mother. My mother (89) likes it there. I ordered Weißürste with pretzel. I got white sausages with a dry pretzel with the bark falling off (frozen goods?). 3 months later my mother really wanted to go there again. OK . What don't you do for mom? I ordered white sausages with pretzels. I got white sausages and dried-out BREAD. I complained immediately. . The service person's answer was: "Yes... that's just a scheduling error." And shrugged his shoulders and left. The other service staff were hanging around at the counter and loudly gossiping about the guests present, so loud that even my mother (89) noticed. Since then my mother didn't want to go there anymore

Unfortunately, service is NOT a priority here. Ordered drinks, then the wrong drinks came. It took 40 minutes for the right ones to arrive. Food wasn't included and we didn't want it anymore.

Very nice beer garden, with delicious food. If anything, I would reconsider the vegetable side dish with the Cordon Blue. Brussels sprouts are a winter vegetable; zucchini or peppers would be more suitable here in summer. In any case, we will come back again.😊

Very nice beer garden, the kitchen also offers different dishes every week. The boss is very personable and takes personal care of his guests, the staff is very friendly.

It is very, very nice to sit here in the open air. And I have another tip: that the tables are not so close to each other.
