Fantastic pizzas, some of the best I have eaten, and really friendly service

The food was delicious, we had a bowl, a pizza and pasta, everything tasted delicious and the waiter was very friendly :-)

We ate at Cafe Stein and were truly impressed. Fresh vegetable bowl Fantastic tortellini and a dreamy panouzzo with cold ingredients. Everything was top-notch! The food is full of flavor, freshly prepared, and tastes amazing. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service...highly recommended!

My favourite place to stop when Ibtravel from Germany to Portugal. The pumpkin soup is delicious and gives me the feel that I had a stop at a family member house to have the homemade taste.

A true discovery in Offenburg! The food at Café Stein is truly excellent. You can see and taste that the food is freshly cooked and of real quality. The menu is small but delicious, and that's exactly what makes the difference. What we particularly liked: The dishes are different from anywhere else. Not run-of-the-mill – they really have flavor and character. The homemade bread from the in-house bakery was also a real highlight. You usually only find something like that in big cities, so it's all the more impressive to find it in Offenburg. We'll definitely be back!

A unique café/restaurant in Offenburg, the service can't be topped. It's outstanding from the very beginning. We started with a free soda, then two homemade dips and bread to try, also on the house. I've never experienced such service before. I wish the restaurant only the best! I'll definitely be back! Thank you.

Absolutely delicious! We hadn't heard of this restaurant before, so we stopped in for lunch one afternoon. The service was very efficient and pleasant. The terrace is also lovely. The food is simply excellent and plentiful, and great value for money!

Great restaurant. We celebrated our wedding here with 30 people. We had the entire upstairs area to ourselves. Decorated with beautiful fresh flowers. Everyone enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was really nice. Service was also good. It's also worth mentioning that you could also order in French. That was very helpful. I would do it again. Once again, a big thank you to everyone. You made a beautiful day even more beautiful. :)

Super nice staff. Food tastes very good and tasty

I had lunch there today. Beef steak, grilled vegetables, fries and salad €22.50. Everything was very tasty. And the price is really unbeatable. Very attentive service. I often eat there, especially in the summer. I can't understand some of the negative reviews. There is no restaurant in the city center that can keep up with this, especially hot food all the time. Always happy😋

It certainly doesn't taste bad if you take a look behind the scenes. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it to anyone.

We were there for coffee. Price for coffee and (mini pieces) extremely sweet cake is too high. Nice atmosphere with historical pictures of Offenburg. We'll come back in the summer to try the food and sit outside.

We chose this restaurant based on the Google rating. The green ambience and uncomfortably bright light (at least on the ground floor) almost made us turn back, but in the end the delicious food made up for it. If the weather is good you can also sit outside at tables in the pedestrian zone. The menu offers a good mix (pasta, meat, local specialties), value for money is okay. Our service was professional friendly.

Ich weiß nicht, was ich zu dieser Gastronomie sagen soll. Wer gerne sein Geld für nichts aus dem Fenster rausschmeißen möchte , ist genau hier richtig. Das selbe Essen, was Sie dort anbieten, könnt ihr auch in Aldi aus der Tiefkühltruhe für 4€ Euro kaufen.

Turkey schnitzel that tastes like fish, probably fried in the same oil as the fish... inedible! The rooms are not heated! Cola stale. The tomatoes on the side salad were mushy. Flädlesuppe a week old.

We visited this cafe a few days ago. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was a bit strange and the order took an unusually long time, even though we were the only guests. The staff seemed to be busy on their cell phones during this time, which left an unprofessional impression. In addition, it was the case that the staff appeared to embarrass each other in front of the customers, which was somewhat unpleasant for everyone involved. Overall, the experience wasn't as cozy as one would hope for when visiting a cafe. For anyone who wants to have a relaxed coffee, I would advise against visiting this café.

Delicious food, but it took a very long time for the food to arrive.

Totale Enttäuschung: bin früher gern wegen der südländischen Küche hingegangen; nix mehr davon: keine Pasta, keine Pizza, kein Grappa. Bedienung eine Katastrophe: essen kam vor dem Getränk! Essen war dann was für den hohlen Zahn, fast keine Beilagen. Restaurant hat sich um 180 Grad gedreht! Kann man vielleicht zum Bier drinken hingehen, essen kann man nicht empfehlen! Schade, war mal ein tolles Restaurant

We were here this afternoon. Had cafe and cake with cream. We really enjoyed it. ☕🍰🎂 Almost all tables on the ground floor were occupied. There is additional seating upstairs. Interesting dishes, my favorite is the roast beef, venison and the goulash.

Das Essen lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Die Pizza war nicht lange genug im Ofen und der Belag war völlig unausgewogen und geschmacklos. Der Servis war ganz in Ordnung etwas unsicher und zurückhaltend, dennoch aufmerksam und freundlich.

Cordonbleu ist an der Füllung vorbei gelaufen... Pommes waren sehr lecker und frisch. Vorspeisen Salat lecker. Getränke kalt, wenig Kohlensäure.

Heute im Café Stein zu Abend gegessen. Das Personal total überfordert und auch nicht wirklich freundlich. Hatten noch weitere Getränke bestellt die dann einfach nicht gekommen sind. Bezahlen kaum möglich, keiner zuständig und unhöflich Antworten der Bedienung. Das Essen war mittelmäßig, nicht wirklich richtig heiß, Tortellini hatten wir bestellt, die Cola zu warm und leicht abgestanden. Werde hier sicher kein zweites Mal zum Essen hingehen. Kann diese Lokalität nicht empfehlen.

Notre expérience était vraiment top, nous y avons bien mangé, nous avons était bien reçu et bien servi (rapide dans la commande et le service). Si je devais mangé a nouveau sur Offenburg cela sera chez vous que je m'arrêterais.

SCHADE---SCHADE---Schade!!!!Bisher bin ich schon öfters hier zum Essen gewesen und konnte mich über gar nichts beschweren. Jetzt allerdings: EINE KATASTROPHE!!!!! Essen sehr schlecht. Fitnessalat (sollte mit Käse serviert werden) fehlte total-auf Nachfrage bekame ich die Antwort-kein Käse da !Salat mit Putenstreifen-Putenstreifen waren Steinhart.. und bei den Tagliatelle mit Pfifferlingen -waren genau 3 kleine Pfifferlinge dabei. Ich habe noch nie beobachtet ,das soviel Essen an den Nachbartischen zurück ging. !!!!!!Die Bedingung konnte nur sehr schlecht deutsch und bei der Bezahlung hatte sie uns auch noch falsch Wechselgeld gegeben. Bislang (noch letztes Jahr im Sommer) hatte diese Gaststätte sehr viele liebenswerte freundliche und kompetente ausländische Mitarbeiter ,die SUPER waren. Jetzt nichts mehr. Ich war leider das letzte Mal da.

My family took a day trip to Offenburg from Strasbourg and stopped at Cafe Stein for lunch. We had the pasta bolognese, tortellini pesto and a caprice salad. All were delicious!

Wir waren jetzt schon öfter dort essen. Sehr netter Besitzer, freundliches Personal. Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Essen schmeckt immer sehr sehr gut und ohne lange Wartezeit. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang konnten wir bei unserem vierten Besuch in diesem Restaurant den effizienten Service und die stets ausgezeichnete Küche genießen. Wir besuchen es und werden es wieder besuche, denn bis jetzt wurden wir noch nie enttäuscht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut.

Bin beeindruckt und das für Offenburg. Von außen ist es eher nicht zu bemerken und man hat keinen Drang hier rein zu gehen aber wenn man dann doch mal rein geht ist man nicht enttäuscht. Nur jedem weiter zu empfehlen. Super nette Bedienung wo sehr aufmerksam ist. Alles total schön dekoriert und sauber. Immer wieder gerne.

Zum Sitzen sehr gemütlich und auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksame Bedienung. Leider war auf der Pizza „Crudo y Rucola“ eine Schwarzwälderschinken und kein richtiger italienischer Schinken. Daher hat diese nicht geschmeckt. Nächstes mal einfach Bescheid geben, dass gewisse Zutaten aus sind ;)

Cute place. We ordered 3 very different dishes and they were very good.

Wir waren kurzfristig zu zweit ohne Reservierung dort essen. Das Ambiente und war ziemlich kühl, lag aber auch an der großen Fensterfront (denke im Sommer bestimmt schöner) Das Essen war sehr lecker ich hatte die Spinatknödel mit Gorgonzola. Mein Sohn Das Cordon Bleu mit etwas wenig Füllung. Aber trotzdem lecker. Komme auf alle Fälle wieder.
