Blackmail instead of improvement: That's not how customer service works!
Shortly after placing my order via Lieferando, I received a call: I always gave poor ratings and even lied (“2 hour delivery time”). Therefore, I would still receive this order, but only if I give a better rating.
The fact is: I never said that the delivery took 2 hours. To portray me as a liar is a bottomless impudence.
What I actually complained about was that the food never arrived hot, only “lukewarm” to “not quite hot” at best. The instructive explanation on the phone that the 6 minutes of travel will cool you down a bit doesn't help much; Keeping warm or heating elements in the transport box (or simply rejecting the order) would be helpful.
Some of my other points of criticism concerned...
– Consistency: e.g. soft, sticky fries
– Taste: e.g. barely perceptible cheese taste
– Seasoning: e.g. uneven or far too salty
– Topping: e.g. forget cheese or mushrooms instead of onions
I gave it an average of 3.5 stars - perhaps strict, but in my opinion always justified (and justified in writing).
After the food was delivered, I tried to clarify things over the phone. The employee mumbled that the previous call must have come from the boss - and hung up. Ohhh. I then complained to Lieferando. But even a week later I received no quarter for the lies I was accused of or any attempt at clarification.
This makes it clear: Anyone who reacts to legitimate criticism in this way only wants the best reviews and no improvements.
Sorry if I only give one star for food but unfortunately I didn't like it. That's nothing bad but that's my rating because you should rate the food and you shouldn't start with a lie and say yes, the food tasted good. Unfortunately it didn't taste like anything to me. I ordered a pizza prosciutto, unfortunately it didn't taste like anything, it wasn't salty. It had no taste whatsoever, so this is my honest review. I hope you don't mean any harm, but a review is a review👍
I would prefer not to give a star at all 🤬. We ordered the food today at 6:15 p.m., saying it would take about 50 minutes. After 1 hour and 25 minutes the food finally arrived, not only was half of it missing, it was also cold. Large pizza according to the menu 28 cm that we ordered and paid for. This "LARGE" pizza was not even 26 cm in diameter (we measured it again). When we asked on the phone we were told that we had gotten a large one and the missing part of the order had not been ordered. The lady repeated the order on the phone twice... If you can't even finish two kebabs and a large pizza because you're overwhelmed, then perhaps you shouldn't offer a take-out service... really absolutely impossible, especially if you're told on the phone that you're lying... never ever...
Food tastes very tasty. Communication when ordering is sometimes quite poor. The ambience is ok for pick-up but not so good for eating there and too small.
