Today we spontaneously went to the Opatija restaurant without registering. We were welcomed very friendly and courteously. The restaurant was well attended. Despite the good number of guests, we were quickly assigned a table. We ordered a grill plate and a robber plate. It was an overall nice visit to a well-kept restaurant. The five stars are clearly deserved. Many thanks to the Opatija Varel team. Kind regards and goodbye.

A nice ambience welcomes you and is then continued by the friendly and courteous service. The food was very tasty and plentiful, so that in the end nothing was left to be desired. I would love to come back and recommend it to others!

Unfortunately I was only a customer for 10 years, but after over 30 years it's coming to an end. The restaurant will be open for the last time on December 31, 2023. I wish the family all the best and a well-deserved retirement! Enjoy the time.

Delicious food with Ulla and Berthold

Disappointing – not recommended The visit was a disaster. Service was inattentive even though the restaurant was sparsely busy, and the food arrived lukewarm and tasteless after we had waited almost an hour for it. To top it off, you couldn't even pay by card here - simply incomprehensible in this day and age. For the money you can definitely get larger portions and better food elsewhere. Definitely won't come back.

We have been coming here for about 10 years and always look forward to our favorite restaurant. The furnishings are simple and somewhat stuck in time, but that doesn't detract from the atmosphere. A cozy restaurant with a good selection of different dishes (not too much, not too little), generous portions and fair prices. We were impressed with the taste every time. Very tasty, the meat is always tender and everything is very seasoned. We always take a plate, it's best to take a Tupperware container with you for the leftovers, because it's really well filled. Before that, bruschetta and we are happy. The starter is also well rounded and always great, even though it is such a simple dish. At the end of the great evening there is Julischka. We like to continue to eat at Filip's and are already looking forward to the next time.

70s atmosphere, but delicious food and super nice service. You definitely can go there.

Hier ist man ein gern gesehener Gast. Der Wirt ist sehr sympathisch. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist so wie ich es mir wünsche.
