Nothing special. Unfortunately, the food was also completely tasteless.

It was my first time there. The food was delicious and the service was friendly.

We've been regulars at Prec Grill for years. My father has celebrated his birthday there for decades 🎂. The food is still absolutely delicious.

It's a shame, I can no longer recommend it. The good times when the food was tasty are over. And the service leaves much to be desired.

The food was okay, but not perfect, which is a shame. Prices are reasonable. As for the service, I'd give it negative stars; it was so bad. It's possible the service was a bit slow for the rush of customers, but after waiting 20 minutes, they finally came to our table to ask what we wanted to drink, and then after another 10 minutes we still hadn't received it, or only received part of it. I could overlook that, but when we wanted to order more, it was all over for the six of us. We had to wait again. The worst part was the grumpy old man who gleefully threw the bill at us (speechless). If we ever want Croatian food again, we definitely won't be going there.

Very disappointing! Unfortunately, it was German food... Canned vegetables, and the djuvec rice was overcooked white rice with tomato sauce and no seasoning whatsoever. The only good thing was the pork tenderloin—tender and well-cooked. Despite having reserved a table weeks in advance, five of us were crammed into a small table for four. Neither we nor the other guests had enough space! The service was very friendly. Would I recommend it? Unfortunately, no!

I'm currently reading a review from a guest from three months ago. Looks like nothing has changed in that time. This food has absolutely nothing to do with cevapcici. It's pure convenience food; every piece looks exactly the same, with no texture inside. The rice in our meal was watery and over-peppered, just like the rest of the food. We weren't the only guests who sent our food back that evening. Sorry, but for that kind of money, I expect quality in a restaurant.

Fancy a Yugoslavian meal? Then you've come to the right place. This small, slightly quirky restaurant offers numerous delicious specialties. We ordered a platter for four, which would have been enough for about eight people. The prices are still fair, and the food is excellent.

Would I recommend it: No, not if you've ever eaten real cevapcici (I doubt the kitchen or the owner had eaten any, given the service, or was it because they were on vacation?), because these weren't. Dry and probably more "filler" like meat. I had the feeling they were vegan. No real ajvar and not enough onions. The djuvec rice was... wet. That had nothing to do with cevapcici. I don't understand the many good reviews, but maybe it's because of the large portions.

The Shepherd's Steak (27c) has changed its flavor. The coleslaw is now finer and therefore softer, and the fries are a bit thinner. Just try it for yourself! Oh yes, NEW!! Card payments are now accepted! And the inside has been spruced up! Very well done. ––————––––————––––————––– Delicious as always. Large, tasty portions without a lot of frills at a reasonable price. Not much sauce, not many vegetables, but the meat is juicy and delicious! And there's always a salad included. We go there several times a year and have never been disappointed. This statement still holds true in 2025!

Hi, we went to eat with two people. And we were very full. (€50 for two people including drinks). We were impressed by the following: The lovely decor. The clean restrooms. The friendly service (both senior and junior). They tried to fulfill our every wish. Price-performance ratio is really amazing: around €50 for two people plus two drinks. But the best comes last. The pear schnapps, a sweet schnapps, is simply amazing. Keep it up, we'll be back. Best regards, F. Bosch

This restaurant had been on my list for a long time so I stopped by. The facility was ok for me, a little old but I still felt comfortable. The service is sometimes grumpy but mostly attentive. The food was served quickly and tasted good. Not a taste explosion, but solid. Before my visit, I checked out the website that is linked to Google. The prices on the linked website no longer match. It's a lot more expensive. An update should definitely be made on the web. Price/performance okay. Separate billing and tipping with card payment are not possible. I had number 18 Poreč Grill in Empelde, a Croatian restaurant. Mega tasty, super friendly service, always packed, reservation is necessary, unfortunately the toilets are not for me as a wheelchair user. Otherwise you will be carried up or down the front entrance steps if you don't have enough helping hands. Thank you very much boss and team for the great stay in your house.

It's a dream that I found a Balkan restaurant here with two friends where the robber plate was such a treat. Every piece of meat was tender and very flavorful. The portion satisfied even the hungriest. Nice quick service. Really nice evening for us and thank you for that!!!!

Fast service and nice employees. But the food is nothing special. Unfortunately, it also seemed rather carelessly prepared to me, the rice was overcooked and very soft and the meat was rather blandly seasoned. The space in the rugged interior is quite tight. Overall, unfortunately my expectations were not met, even if the contact and service were top.

We had dinner with a larger group and were looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately, our patience was put to the test. We had to wait over two hours for our food. Unfortunately, my dish was burnt and the rice had an unpleasant taste and smell that was very reminiscent of an ashtray. What was particularly annoying was that two people didn't get their food until the rest of the group had long since finished. Unfortunately, the service was also disappointing; some drinks were either forgotten or only arrived after half an hour or an hour. When we politely asked about a discount due to these circumstances, we were told "we are not in the market here". We found this answer neither appropriate nor customer-friendly. After this experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant and will not go there again.

The food here is okay, but that's where the enjoyment ends. The owner (the big guy) is quite a character who manages to make me laugh on some level or another. However, a car can't drive with only one wheel. Bad service is an understatement here. You guys need to do better.

Very disappointed! We really enjoy coming here from time to time. But they are probably not so-called regulars in this sense, maybe that was also the reason that both the owner of the restaurant and the waitress didn't care at all that we complained about the loud group of men. We asked for a different table (we had ordered a table days before) and right at the beginning we noticed that the volume didn't even change much when the gentlemen got their food. There were 5 of us including a child. And we could barely understand our own words. Even addressing the group on my part didn't bring any improvement! It's a shame, the atmosphere that evening was like being in a crowded bar! Of course I am aware that this group left more money (we were happy to get out of there as quickly as possible when we were finished eating) otherwise we would be happy to sit a little longer. Nevertheless, you should offer all guests a pleasant atmosphere. It remains to be seen whether we will come back again. If you want to get extremely drunk, be in a large group and don't have to be considerate of others, then you've come to the right place!!! And we like to be louder and party, but we know how to behave in a bar. ! My child couldn't even go to the men's toilet. He told me, at 9 years old, that everything was peed (probably because of the alcohol level) in a disco, okay, but in a restaurant? At the end the owners told us we could stay at home! Without words!

We have been eating there off and on for decades. Actually, since the restaurant opened and we have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately not at all this time. The meat was completely dry and tough. The coleslaw was again very tasty. The service staff were still very accommodating and the drinks were brought to the table immediately. The hot sauce was really spicy! There were four of us there and unfortunately we had the same taste experience. At the next table, a woman had even returned her food three times because the meat was still frozen. What a shame!

So delicious. Even without pre-booking a table, you can get a seat. Nevertheless, I would recommend ordering a table.

After asking by phone whether there is still room, you don't feel like going because the boss comes across as a little grumpy on the phone. But I still went and am 100% satisfied. The ambience has to be like that... the spicy Oberhammer sauce... boring fries and the plates are rather listlessly prepared, but it tastes fantastic. Everyone has to decide for themselves when it comes to price. I'll definitely be back!!!

We had to wait a little longer for our food because it was quite full. But when it came (and it didn't take that long and we were apologized for the "long" wait) we had to realize: it was super delicious!!!! You're happy to wait a little longer for that 😉 We'll be back, no question about it!

Absolute legend - you don't have to write much about it.

After 7 hours of traveling to Benthe, we were hungry. After we looked for a restaurant near the hotel, we found what we were looking for. The price-performance ratio is 100%. We had the Porec platter and a few things left to take away. We say thank you and will definitely come back.

We were there on the recommendation of friends, and it was totally worth it. We were greeted very nicely, the service was very attentive, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks, nor for our food. We had a platter for two people with Croatian Specialties, including coleslaw, fries and rice as well as vegetables and spicy! red sauce. The plates were hot, the plate was kept warm on a recho on the table. The food was very good and plentiful (large portion) the guest is guaranteed to be full here. Price / performance is right. Finally, this Croatian is highly recommended, we will definitely come back. Oh yes, you should reserve in advance, otherwise it will look bad with a place because in our opinion there are apparently a lot of guests.

The Poreč Grill is a “rustic” Yugoslavian, with usually generous portions! Nobody goes home hungry here. Here the boss also serves personally and asks whether everything is OK! Very pleasant and accommodating. The interior is unfortunately a bit old, but it is still cozy and there is a cool Gilde Ratskeller on tap! The picture shows the dish “Pola-Pola” with minced meat rolls and a skewer with a side dish. I'll definitely come back!

Anyone who likes to eat a lot of meat is in good hands here. If you don't get enough here, it's your own fault!

Been here again after a long time. And my conclusion: Time seems to have stood still here. Even after 42 years of Porec Grill, there is still a decent amount of delicious, juicy grilled meat at very moderate prices in the atmosphere of a restaurant from bygone times. It just has its own charm. The boss and the service staff were quick with food and drinks, but friendliness was never neglected. All in all, highly recommended and happy to come again.

Today I went to my favorite restaurant for a long time and, as always, I was very enthusiastic about the food. My Pola Pola was really tasty and it was so nice to see Dragan again. It is 8th and remains by far the best Croatian restaurant in Hanover. Meeeega! 👍👍👍👍

My son and I received a warm welcome and were given a table straight away, even though the restaurant was very busy. Pola Pola was more than plentiful, juicy and very tasty. I found the atmosphere to be very cozy, even if it was a bit old, but that's exactly what makes it so cozy. In short, we were thrilled and will definitely come back again.

The food was quite good, although a lot of it was from the freezer or canned. The atmosphere could be a bit brighter and more modern.

Alles wie man es erwartet. Portion wie man sie von "früher" kennt. Eine sehr leckere "Scharfe Soße" zum dippen. In jeden Fall eine Empfehlung 🙂
