If the men have a motivated day, then the kebab tastes great. Just the right amount of sauce, the meat freshly cut and, if you're very lucky, a "we'll do it" after you've expressed your wishes. Otherwise, the employees are mostly very unfriendly, very, very lazy and don't put much effort into preparing the kebab. The older gentlemen are the lesser evil, but the short, full-bearded man and the lanky young man don't go at all. They are always very unfriendly and don't have much interest in their job. With them you can be sure that the meat has already been pre-cut and has been lying in the tub for half an eternity and is drier than the Sahara. Unfortunately, I still enjoy coming back because the sauces and bread taste very good. The bread is wafer-thin (if it's toasted properly, it always depends on the enthusiasm of the employees. If it's not toasted properly, half the bread falls apart and is no fun to eat) the pineapple curry sauce in combination with the The hot sauce tastes amazing and I have never eaten it anywhere else. The veal (if it is freshly cut) is juicy, tasty and goes very well with the sauces. I hope that the boss will go through the reviews and maybe say something about it. I would come a lot more often if the gentlemen performed consistently and were friendlier. Delicious food is no longer everything these days. Service also plays an important role in ensuring longevity. ---------------------------- Addendum: The quality of the meat has now become really bad. At least with the veal skewer. It is no longer advertised as in the past and proudly declared with a sign "100% layered meat". The veal skewer now has a very high proportion of minced meat. You can see, smell and taste it straight away. We haven't been going there recently because we've found this meat skewer twice in a row. It has now become the norm to sell the skewer. We definitely don't like it. It's a shame, it was my favorite kebab shop.

Unfortunately, a completely irrelevant, average kebab. Typically for Hamburg in a bread bag instead of flatbread. Not particularly big for the price. But the guys behind the counter are really friendly and attentive

Die veganen Gerichte und Soßen schmecken mir sehr gut. Mir fällt nichts vergleichbares in der Kategorie ein. Vor allem weil es woanders häufig nur die Möglichkeit gibt, auf Falafel auszuweichen und auf fast alle Soßen zu verzichten, wenn man keine tierischen Produkte möchte. Klare Empfehlung 🥙

A completely new team behind the counter. The quality has dropped a bit but no wonder the old team was well coordinated. Good quality costs money and rightly so.

I used to go there a lot, it tasted very good and everyone was friendly. For a few months now the meat has been very salty and not very saucey. Generally very meat-heavy, requests for more sauce would simply be ignored.

Super tasty food...nicely prepared...very good selection of Turkish dishes...very friendly, courteous service...appealing ambience...my food was too spicy for me, without batting an eyelid, We were served a "milder" dish by the boss...very friendly...we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Hamburg...highly recommended!

UNFORTUNATELY NO HERB SAUCE HERE EITHER... ...but from the beginning. In Hamburg while looking for a real kebab (and a kebab includes ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY herb sauce, garlic sauce and/or hot sauce!!!) I became aware of this kebab shop through an influencer (sounds like an occupational disease). Video clip gave the obviously owner-managed shop a 6 out of 10 despite the mentioned herb sauce (dear influencer, please do your job properly, the shop has NO herb sauce!!!). He somehow eats his way through the kebab shops all over Germany and rates them. Inspired and alerted by the keyword "herb sauce", I became aware of "Fuhle Grill" while I was looking for a real kebab in Hamburg and then wanted to see for myself. And I necessarily did that today. And when I look at the reviews of this store, they really have everything, from good to really terrible. So it could mean anything... but in the video clip I was at least able to make out the real kebab bread, this triangular bread bag. Very easily accessible and only about a 5-minute walk from the Barmbek subway station, the "Fuhle Grill" is already evident and certainly (like so many other kebab shops) thrives well and/or satisfactorily on the surroundings/neighborhood. And so today I walked in around 11:30 a.m. and the shop was empty except for one person (probably the owner). Another lady (looking slightly grumpy for whatever reason, maybe the owner's wife?!). I introduced myself and referenced this “Instagram” post from this influencer and wanted to take a look for myself. He himself was very open, made no attempt to hide anything or anything, and showed me everything (especially the great bread) and then we came to the elementary topic of sauces. Conclusion: NO herb sauce here either. Instead, all sorts of sauces, which are meant to be nice in themselves, but have no place on a kebab. Since from this point on the kebab was no longer different from other kebab shops in the area, I refrained and didn't order there at all. I can't judge whether the kebabs are sold there in any way or in what quality. Factually, it should be noted that the store is not a feel-good place, but rather sober and functional. But everything is fine. The person I was able to experience in the store was very nice, friendly and open when it came to transparency. I can rate that positively. I would have liked to give more stars, but the fact that there is no herb sauce drags it down and a bit of coziness certainly wouldn't hurt the place, especially if you want to eat there on site. But well organized on the Internet with all the information. I wish the owner all the best and a good hand for the business. If I ever get herb sauce here for the kebab, I would like to come here again and then maybe I can give a better rating.
