Personal ist wirklich sehr Freundlich und sympathisch man fühlt sich direkt wohl und Willkommen Essen ist auch wirklich Top, Fleisch ist saftig reichliche soßen auswahl und das gemüse ist Frisch und Knackig kann es aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen

Zweimal dort gewesen und zweimal absolut Top. Der Geschmack und die frische der Gerichte lässt keine wünsche offen. Personal extrem freundlich und immer einen lustigen Spruch parat. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Absolut empfehlenswert da rentiert es sich vorbei zu schauen!

Seitdem ich 12 Jahre alt bin gehe ich zu sel kebabs und er hat mich nie enttäuscht. Gutes Fleisch, legendäres Personal und geile Location!!!

Damals der Döner war echt krass, mittlerweile kriegt man Fleisch was 30 min steht und sich wie Gummi anfühlt, manchmal bockt der Döner aber so 80% ist der einfach nicht fresh, so bin keiner der Rezensionen schreibt aber bei Gott ist kein 4,7/5 Sterne. War heute Döner essen aufeinmal so ein fettes Stück Knorpel oder was das ist, ich ess den Döner aufeinmal der ist Lila ich dachte ich ess diesen lila Burger von McDonald’s Digga. Also wirklich nicht gut, hab den Döner nicht mal aufgegessen so schlecht war’s, also wenn ihr wirklich gut Döner essen wollt dann nicht hier, wirklich schlecht geworden so schade wie es auch ist. Personal auch die ganze Zeit genervt ist einfach nicht cool, ist ja nicht so das es nur heute so war sondern immer. Richtig frech

Es ist ein guter Schnellimbiss, um es mal so auszudrücken, ein echter Lebensretter, da er bis spät in die Nacht geöffnet hat. Die Produkte sind von guter Qualität, vor allem angesichts des hohen Umsatzes. Er wirkt allerdings etwas vernachlässigt, insbesondere was die Sauberkeit angeht; ich habe sogar Insekten auf dem Boden gesehen, aber das heißt nicht, dass sie nicht auch woanders waren. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, selbst spät abends.

Immer lecker mit dem Grillgemüse :)

Mega guter Dönerteller, gut gelegen und die Zutaten mega mäßig.

Der Döner war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren sehr großzügig. Ich kann ihn nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war super. Wir waren zur Stoßzeit da und haben etwas auf die Pommes warten müssen, weil sie noch frisch gemacht wurden. Der Service war sehr gut. Es war sehr stressig aber trozdem alle super freundlich.

Goated Döner. Da kann man eigentlich nichts gegen sagen. Döner, Dönerbox und Dürum schmeckt alles fantastisch und frisch. Der Laden ist gut zugänglich direkt bei der Bushaltestelle Gärtnerstrasse und trotz der langen Schlange welche da jeden Tag ist geht es relativ zügig voran mit dem bestellen. Die Leute die den Döner zubereiten sind auch sehr nett. Faire Preise für so leckeres Essen auf jeden Fall. Auch die Inneneinrichtung ist toll also gut und gemütlich und eigentlich auch genug Platz für viele Leute, da die Leute 10 Minuten essen und dann gehen. Sehr empfehlen der Laden! Der beste in Hamburg wenn ihr mich fragt 🔝

Seit inzwischen rund acht Jahren bin ich Stammkunde bei SelKebap, und diese lange Zeit spricht für sich. In all den Jahren habe ich zahlreiche Dönerläden in Hamburg und auch deutschlandweit ausprobiert, doch nur wenige kommen an die Qualität und Konstanz dieses Ladens heran. Was SelKebap besonders auszeichnet, ist das perfekt abgestimmte Zusammenspiel aller Komponenten. Die Soßen sind von außergewöhnlich hoher Qualität, angenehm dickflüssig, häufig auf Mayonnaise Basis, wodurch sie den Döner ideal ergänzen, ohne das Brot aufzuweichen oder den Inhalt zu durchtränken. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Cocktail und Knoblauchsoße, beide geschmacklich intensiv, fein abgestimmt und mit einer subtilen Note, die an Dill erinnert und dem Ganzen eine besondere Frische verleiht. Auch das Fleisch überzeugt durch seine konstant solide Qualität, während das Brot durch präzises Toasten eine perfekte Balance zwischen Knusprigkeit und Weichheit erreicht. Das Ambiente ist für einen Dönerimbiss angenehm gemütlich, und der Laden entwickelt sich kontinuierlich weiter, mit neuen Angeboten und Ideen, die das Sortiment sinnvoll erweitern, ohne die bewährte Qualität zu beeinträchtigen. Fazit, dieser Döner ist für mich eine klare 11 von 10 und gehört locker zu den Top 3 der besten Dönerläden in Hamburg. Wer sich in Hamburg auf die Suche nach einem herausragenden Döner macht, kommt an SelKebap nicht vorbei. Für Dönerliebhaber ist ein Besuch hier nahezu Pflicht.

Ich hatte gestern meinen ersten Falafel Durüm. Und er war unfassbar lecker. Mega Service, tolle frische Produkte und ein guter Preis. Gerne nochmal!!

Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit habe ich es endlich geschafft und nachdem ich diesen Laden mehrmals aus dem Auto aus entdeckt und neugierig wurde. Was soll ich sagen? Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Zur Mittagszeit wurde mit Frau und Kind in das Sel Kebap eingekehrt. Vorab: alle kamen auf Ihre Kosten! Der Gemüsedöner mit ein wenig Hähnchenfleisch und Kräutersosse war ein Gedicht und ich weiß nicht ob Holle hier schon war, aber es würde sich lohnen! Die Mitarbeiter waren alle super freundlich, obwohl recht viel los war. Super kinderfreundlich war vor allem die Frau die heute hinterm Tresen gearbeitet hat. Man merkt einfach das die Eigentümer richtig viel Herz in den Laden stecken! Es war wirklich schön zu sehen. Für alle Sparfüchse noch eine kleine Anmerkung: guckt nicht so sehr auf den Preis. Ein Döner kostet heutzutage halt um die 8-9€, bei dem hier ist man aber danach wirklich satt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, auch wenn wir eigentlich am Stadtrand wohnen und rund 25 min fahren müssen. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es nur für das Ambiente, obwohl schon wirklich alles aus den kleinen Gegebenheiten gemacht wurde.

Für mich mit Abstand DER beste Döner. Ich komme seit Jahren her. Wohne mittlerweile nicht mal mehr in Hamburg aber lass mir das natürlich bei einem Besuch nicht nehmen einen Döner von Sel mitzunehmen. Von der Sauce bis zum Brot 10/10. Allerdings muss auch ich zugeben, dass man leider merkt, wenn viel los ist. Nicht unbedingt am Service sondern bei der Hygiene. Tische und auch teilweise Teller werden dann wirklich unhygenisch hinterlasen. Klar ist menschlich aber im Bezug auf Essen nicht schön. Empfand ich persönlich früher etwas besser, aber naja. Ist für mich kein Grund nicht zu kommen. LIEBE diesen Döner! Ich spreche übrigens vom Hähnchendöner.

Das Essen dort schmeckt gut. Leider wird jedoch kein großer Wert auf Hygiene gelegt. Das Essen wird auf benutzten Tellern serviert, die, wenn überhaupt, kurz mit einem trockenen Tuch abgewischt wurden (schon mehrfach erlebt; Beispiel siehe Bild). Bei meinem letzten Besuch stand ich in der Schlange und sah, wie einem Mitarbeiter der Schweiß - Tropfen für Tropfen - von der Stirn über die Nase hinunterlief und in das Essen der Kunden tropfte. Daraufhin ist mir der Appetit komplett vergangen und ich habe den Laden ohne eine Bestellung verlassen. Ich werde aufgrund der mangelnden Hygiene nicht mehr wiederkommen. Schade, dass man dadurch seine Stammkunden verliert. Dadurch, dass man keinen großen Wert auf Hygiene legt.

Das ist wirklich der leckerste Döner in Hamburg. Köstliches Essen, freundliches Personal, faire Preise.

Unfortunately, I can't agree with the previous reviews at all. The restaurant has a modern design and looks good. However, it was extremely cold. The service was also very good. The meat was already sliced ​​and, consequently, cold. I ordered it spicy, but even with plenty of chili flakes, it wasn't spicy at all. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were cheap and tasteless. Paying €8.90 for a doner kebab/dürüm that doesn't taste very good and isn't filling (I could easily have eaten another one) seems excessive to me. I'd rather go for lunch, get full, and eat something delicious.

I came in here on a Sunday evening. I received a very warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and chatty. The doner kebab was delicious, the meat was nice and crispy, the vegetables were very fresh, and the sauces were excellent. I highly recommend it! Erkan is the best!!!!

I've been a customer for over eight years and have always praised you for having the tastiest doner kebab in town. Today, I was disappointed to find that my girlfriend's Turkish pizza was the size of a börek and so dry it was almost inedible. My doner was so sparsely topped that only the last two bites hinted at any sauce. Sorry, but the size and quality have declined so drastically while the price has increased. You'd better cover up your current situation.

I ordered, the food arrived hot and tasted good. However, the online listing advertises an extra portion of vegetables and an extra portion of feta. These were combined and barely fill the box. The crumbled feta is a bit of a nuisance. What a shame! But it was still tasty!

I watched Abu's video about Sel Kebab and wanted to see for myself, since Kollegah and Abu presented the doner kebab in a positive light. Tastes differ, but for me, it's just like the reviews here: The staff are overwhelmed, one of the doner kebab vendors is also unpleasant, customers are served before you even if you were there first, and the vegetable doner has more vegetables and salad than meat. The tables are dirty, and people ignore it. I know better doner kebab shops.

Update: Unfortunately, I was very disappointed the last two times! No more nonsense, I'll leave my original review below. Both times I had terrible stomach aches and diarrhea after the döner. Once there was even a burnt toothpick in my döner. I generally don't have a sensitive stomach and have been eating at Sel's for ages without any problems. I have no idea what's going on; maybe it's due to the questionable hygiene. Greeting colleagues with a check, taking money, doing some kind of work in front of the shop, and then not washing your hands afterward isn't exactly great. SORRY, I loved you guys, but I can't come back anymore. It's a real shame 😓 One of the better, maybe even the best, döner shops in Hamburg. Almost always delicious, consistently good quality for years. The shop gives a clean impression. Everything's great!

I haven't eaten this badly in a long time. The staff were completely unfriendly and seemed overwhelmed right from the start. Friendliness was nowhere to be found. My wife and I ordered two doner kebabs and a meal deal with fries and fried chicken. The doner kebabs were an abomination. The bread was hard and papery after toasting, the meat was cold and dry, and there was hardly any sauce. While eating, I even discovered a hair in the doner kebab—that pretty much says it all. The chicken meal deal was equally terrible. The fries and the meat tasted strongly of old oil; there was no trace of freshness or good flavor. I didn't actually want to write a review, but now that I'm sitting at home with nausea and heartburn, I simply have to warn others. For €34, you get cold, unappetizing food, unfriendly staff, and an atmosphere that's just as cold as the food itself. Never again. What a waste of money…

I have no idea why, but strangely enough, it always tastes best when Ercan is working and preparing my food. I'm here often, and this time I'm leaving a review. What has to be done, has to be done 😊✌️

I always enjoyed coming here. But the kebabs have really gone downhill...in terms of size and quality...and the price has gone up. And the staff doesn't seem to enjoy working there anymore...at least that's how it seems. I won't be going back anytime soon.

I can recommend the homemade herb sauce

Basically, a really good kebab, with decent quality. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio hasn't been right for some time. The employees often seem stressed and irritated. Overall, a shop with good and bad days. Recommended for lunchtime; it's usually very busy in the evenings.

The staff were actually pretty friendly. The seating inside was comfortable. There was also some hot spice at the table, which I usually need and use. The doner kebab meat looked good. The chicken and veal looked layered, so it was a proper doner kebab. The portion, however, was unfortunately a bit small, and the doner kebab wasn't that full, but more flat like a sandwich. On top of that, in my case, the bread was left in the toaster for far too long, or was pressed down too hard, so it became hard, and after three bites, the doner kebab ripped open at the bottom, so half the doner kebab practically fell out, and I had difficulty eating it; I even had to eat it with my fingers in the end. The meat itself tasted okay, but it was somehow lacking in spices, so it was pretty bland. I'm used to it being different here in the Ruhr area, and in general, the doner kebab was far too small for the price, and I have to say, too poorly filled. If the two points of the "triangle" touch at the top, that's usually not a good sign. According to the signs, the sauces were homemade and delicious. The salad was fresh but unfortunately a bit too small. The sauce was spread on the bread beforehand, which is very good, but overall, the kebab wasn't satisfying enough for me, as I was still hungry afterwards and had to buy more to fill me up. Generally speaking, though, there are kebabs on every corner in Hamburg, but I've never found one here that impressed me more than the one here in the Ruhr Valley/Münsterland.

Solid kebab. The shop was clean, tidy, and modern. I would definitely recommend the vegetable kebab + meat. I would give it a 7.5-8/10. The meat is crispy, the vegetables have a good kick, but for me, it wasn't mixed enough. The bottom was 70% meat and hardly any vegetables. Hi, I ate at your place with my sister-in-law on Saturday. The food was good as always, but the service 👎👎👎 There were two employees serving the customers... One of them was complaining the whole time. When he burned his hand (on the toaster), he blamed his colleague in Turkish, went back to the kitchen, banged on the countertop, and complained. So in itself a great shop with great kebab/dürum, but delivery is an absolute disaster! Instead of the promised 30 minutes, I had to wait 1.5 hours for my dinner. Then you can leave the delivery service straight away. Food was appropriate for the circumstances. Very disappointing, I cannot recommend a delivery order from SEL Kebap, especially if you value punctual delivery.

Went to Sel Kebap yesterday – juicy kebab, crispy bread, great sauce. Fast, tasty, honest. There was no skimping on the portioning of the meat - the kebab was full to the brim with meat. Come again!
