Baris Grillhaus in Hamburg

We went there for the first time yesterday. The food was okay, taste-wise. However, we both spent half the night on the toilet.

Very delicious food and friendly service.

Clean establishment, delicious sauces, döner kebab. You should try the döner kebab. The sauces are also delicious. They served tea, and the staff was polite and attentive. I would like to thank Suna Hanım for her friendly manner and service.

I'll give one point for the tea. We literally ate salad between the sandwiches. It's a shame to pay €10.50 for a wrap and a bottle of water. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I won't be going back.

Only Baris is real! In my opinion, one of the best, if not the best, kebab in Hamburg. Everything is mixed beforehand, and the bread is not only perfectly delicious but also only open at the top! The sauces are delicious, and the staff are always super friendly. At least once a month, Baris is a must 😍

The Doner Box is delicious. It's great because it mixes the fries and vegetables, so you don't have to mix them in a small box. The only thing is that the fries get soggy over time because of the sauce, so I recommend eating them right away. They're really delicious when you eat them right after you make them.

A kebab that surprised me. Nice shop, centrally located, and fairly priced. I've never seen it prepared like this before. The flatbread (shaped like a tube) is filled with the pre-mixed ingredients. Delicious. I can recommend it to everyone.

It was already closed at 2 a.m. - the sign and Google said it was open until 4 a.m. EDIT: This review was reported to Google two years later as "defamation."

We went to dinner without a reservation.

Freshly cooked pasta, some perfectly roasted chicken, and a flawless salad—what more could you want? Especially around 11 p.m. And it's pleasantly relaxed and friendly.

The shop itself was nice but it was always completely catastrophic. I vomited and had a stomach ache, which was bad. For example, the meat was cold. I wanted one thing, but they mixed something else, which is why it got one star and the inside is worse than the outside.

I ate at this restaurant and was very satisfied. The place was clean and well-maintained, and the service was friendly and attentive. The counters were obviously very clean and tidy. We ordered the mixed grill and meatballs (kofte) – the sauces were truly outstanding and the meat was delicious. Everything was freshly prepared. The portions were generous and the value for money was good. I will definitely return and highly recommend it!

We arrived quite late in the evening, so it wasn't crowded, and we were seated right away. The food didn't take too long to prepare, about 5-8 minutes. However, the service wasn't great; the man was a bit unfriendly. The doner kebab didn't have much flavor and was rather dry. The falafel was also very dry. If you're looking for a delicious explosion of flavor, you won't find it here.

I went there spontaneously in the evening to buy a Turkish pizza. The owner seemed a bit reserved at first, but became much more friendly and accommodating to regular guests. The Turkish pizza itself tasted excellent, although at €8.50 it was rather expensive. Because of the good quality, I would still come back - even if the first impression of the service was a bit cold.

The food here is very tasty. I personally find it beneficial that the sauce, meat and vegetables are mixed in a bowl before being put into the bread. This means everything is mixed nicely and evenly. In addition, the staff is very friendly and the snack bar is clean. The prices are reasonable. I'd love to come back.

Normal kebab with tzatziki tastes like nothing! No seasoning, no garlic. Meat is not crispy. Only the service is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is lively and there is a bit of something to look at. But to be honest, it's absurd for me to offer such a bad kebab in this area. But the store looks neat and clean. Hence 2 stars. But I won't eat again.

I've never eaten worse!! Definitely do not try the doner kebab, you are looking for meat inside, the color of what you find is not like meat anyway!! If anyone wants to eat cabbage and sauce with bread, if anyone says they don't want to taste meat, if they want to eat something that doesn't know what it is, they are welcome to eat it!!

I eat there every day and have never been disappointed, good prices, all great!

What I think is absolutely great is that the meat and salad ingredients are mixed together before filling the kebab bag. There is seating both inside and outside and the displays are clean. Unfortunately the price level is very high, which prevents the fifth star.

Baris Grillhaus is definitely my favorite place for kebab in Hamburg. Your kebab is simply unbeatably delicious! The staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I can only warmly recommend it and would love to go there again and again.

The Dörner plate I ordered for €13.90 was initially okay in size until I paid for it. Unfortunately, as usual, there is no piece of bread here. The quality was ok and the service was ok except that when I ordered I wasn't asked about the size of the plate (large or small). The interior could do with a makeover, as the seat cushions on the benches, chairs and stools, for example, already look very worn. There were discussions when paying because the supposed small plate (round) had the same area as the large one (oval), which means you should definitely order the small one because the quantity is the same as the large plate. I won't come here anymore.

I got a medium kebab bag. The bag is toasted, which I like. The filling is mixed in a bowl so that the pocket is filled evenly and not in layers, but too little, no hardly any meat and a lot of lettuce were used. It was almost a vegetarian bag, so I can't declare a satisfactory result.

Went for a late night bite, the hours posted stated they were open. There were employees inside and we ask if they were open from outside, the doors were locked. They looked at us in the eyes and completely ignored us and went back to what they were doing. Great establishment. Can’t rate the food because we didn’t order anything.

Wir waren mit fünf Personen spontan hier in späteren Verlauf des Abends essen, es gibt eine große Auswahl an Speisen und gekühlten Getränken. Wie wurden schnell und höflich bedient. Alle Speisen waren heiß und haben wirklich gut geschmeckt. Man kann drinnen oder draußen (überdacht) sitzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

An sich ein solider döner aber die verteilung der Soße läst zu wünschen übrig nur oben und ab der Mitte keine soße mehr

Also, geschmacklich war es in Ordnung. Habe da schon schlechtere (Presshack-) Döner gegessen. Auch die Sauce war gut. Allerdings wurde ein Jumbodöner bestellt - das Brot war hier zu einem guten Teil mit Luft gefüllt und enthielt maximal die Fleischportion eines normalen Döners. Das ist nicht in Ordnung...

Essen war ganz lecker aber der Laden war etwas klein und stickich aber sonst ganz gut.

Das Fleisch ist super. Allerdings handelt es beim Döner um eine Döner tasche die mot der Fleisch Gemüse Mischung gefüllt wird. Dadurch hat man meiner Meinung nach zu viel Brot. Aber trotzdem hat w sehr gut geschmeckt ....

You can try their meat doner it's really delicious especially with bread. I can't say same thing for chicken doner but for meat it's delicious and easy to eat

Best place to get affordable and great tasting Doner in the hauptbahnhauf Mitte of Hamburg. Went there two nights in a row because it was so irresistibly good. Would highly suggest their Doner pockets, so good !

Der Dürüm Fladen ist ein Convinince Produkt - Sehr Schade ☹️ Die Cocktail / Kräuter Sauce enthält TK Kräuter die keine schöne Farbe haben, es wäre wirklich sehr einfach hier ein Pubkt mehr zu bekommen, Schade Baris Grillhaus. Zusammen mit einem Efes habe ich 10,50€ Bezahlt Preis Leistung ist nicht gegeben für die Qualität wären 7,50 sprich 5€ Lebensmittel 2,50 Getränke o.k gewesen. Sehr sehr schade. Ich empfehle Batman.

Auf den ersten Blick ein unscheinbares Bistro, aber das Essen ist sehr, sehr lecker und hochwertig, und man kann auch relativ gemütlich sitzen. Insbesondere ist die gefüllte Aubergine (Nr. 20 🍆) zu empfehlen. Da können sich manche teure Restaurants eine Scheibe abschneiden! Auch der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne 🌸
