La Dolce Vita on the plate – My favorite Italian! 🇮🇹🍕 You can recognize a good Italian restaurant by three things: the atmosphere, the quality of the ingredients and – of course – the pizza. And this little gem delivers absolute top values ​​in all categories. As soon as you enter, you feel like you are in a trattoria in Italy: the warm staff not only bring the dishes to the table, but also the Italian lightness. A friendly “Ciao Bella!” here, a charming wink there – and everyday life is forgotten. The menu is deliberately reduced, which is a reliable quality feature in gastronomy: less selection, but fresh, carefully selected ingredients. The seasonal specialties are particularly worth a visit. My personal highlight in autumn: the beetroot carpaccio with pear and walnuts - a combination that I had to recreate at home (with moderate success, because somehow the magic of the original is missing). The pizza? A poem. Excellent base and sides, perfect seasoning, topping chosen with sense and understanding. So far none have disappointed me - an experiment that I'm happy to continue. And if you still have room after your meal (or have cleverly kept it free), you should try the homemade tiramisu. Particularly charming: As a couple, you get what feels like a VIP version with two forks and an extra portion of love. Conclusion: If you are looking for real Italian flair, you will get your money's worth here - at least in terms of cuisine. If my bank account was as full as my stomach after an evening here, I would probably make a weekly reservation. A real insider tip that deserves much more attention - perfect for everyone who not only wants to enjoy good food, but also a little bit of Italian joie de vivre! 🇮🇹

Unfortunately not recommended, for me it has nothing to do with Italian cuisine Salad was ordered with vinegar/oil, which were served separately in a small bowl, unfortunately far too little for the amount of salad. The salad consisted of some arugula and a lot of poorly cut iceberg; the pomegranate seeds sprinkled on top didn't really make it any better. The pasta al olio was drowning in garlicky fat and the green, coarsely chopped peppers neither looked appetizing nor were they spicy or even spicy. The dish lacked any sophistication. Finally, the pizza, a seafood pizza with 90% surimi (imitation crab meat) rounded off the poor quality of the food.

Absolutely underground! We had dinner there with around 30 people. An hour later nothing had happened. No waiter to offer drinks or offer the menu. Several of our participants then made their way to the bar and organized drinks. Now we waited again - nothing again for almost an hour. One of our participants took a piece of paper and wrote down the order and handed it to the kitchen. It took quite a long time until the first meals arrived. Five dishes were delivered completely incorrectly because they were not ordered! Three orders were completely forgotten. I've never experienced anything like that! The pizza tasted like cardboard and was dry, the pasta dishes were surprisingly good. The waiters calmly served all the other guests who came after us while we waited and waited. Never again!!!

Very good food, everything homemade. Unfortunately we have been there twice for free, even though it was supposed to be open. There was a “Closed” sign on the door, but there were people inside. It would be nice if unscheduled closures were announced on FB and Google Maps. We could have saved ourselves the trip out of Langen.

When I read the reviews, I almost have to say I was in a different guesthouse. I was immediately greeted with a very familiar “you” even though I had never been here before. The wines are manageable and not special in any way. For dinner I ordered a bruschetta with anchovies, which was good. The carpaccio wasn't special and the seafood salad consisted of squid, octopus and two mussels and green salad, not special either. When I wanted to pay, they couldn't even give me a receipt. I'm not coming back.

Very warm service and great quality. The best gluten free pizza I've ever eaten. The Viebrock family offers a level of service and warmth that they will not get again. That's a waste of money, it's a shame. Every visit to the model house park was rounded off first-class and the service and food made us happy after a strenuous sampling.
