We picked up two delicious pizzas tonight. We're staying in a Landal Dwergtersand cottage, and the pizzas were still nice and hot when we arrived. Delicious thin crust and plenty of toppings. The pizza maker was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

La Trattoria in Molbergen really surprised me. From the outside, the place looks unassuming, but inside you quickly realize that the people behind it know what good food is all about. The pizza isn't a soggy circle, but has that crispy crust that tastes like it came from a wood-fired oven, even when there isn't one. The pasta – yes, I know, it sounds standard – is actually fresh here, not that overcooked, bland mush you often get. The service? Relaxed, uncomplicated, not that forced "Are you all right?" every three minutes. You're acknowledged, but not bothered. A little chaotic at times, but in a charming way. The prices are fair, especially considering how well-made the food really is. If you're looking for something in Molbergen that tastes like authentic Italian cuisine and not like something from the frozen food aisle, this is the place to go.

If you want to enjoy very good food at very good prices in a cozy, somewhat rustic atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Friendly atmosphere with delicious food

We spontaneously decided to get pizza: The long drive was definitely worth it. The pizza couldn't be more authentic. Fresh, with a unique and truly Italian flavor. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

Delicious food and good ambience

Picture puzzle: Where is the salmon in the TAGLIATELLE AL SALMONE? It wasn't on top or underneath. For a €16 pasta, I estimate there was only about 15g of salmon. The sauce tasted okay, but for that price, I would have hoped for more than just traces of fish.

We were vacationing in Molbergen and wanted to have a delicious Italian meal. We automatically stumbled upon La Trattoria da Carmelo. The food was truly delicious, but one thing was really disappointing. My wife ordered spaghetti, and when the food arrived, she noticed that the Parmesan cheese was missing. She immediately asked the waitress if she could have some Parmesan cheese with the spaghetti, which arrived quite quickly. But when we got the bill after dinner, the Parmesan cheese was charged at €2.50!! Unbelievable. We've been to many Italian restaurants, but we've never experienced anything like this. Perhaps they should reconsider whether this is the right approach. But again, the food was delicious.

We ate outside at the trattoria on a summer evening. We ordered, among other things, a Focaccia Sacenze (€9.50) and a Pizza Contadina (€15.00). After about an hour of waiting, the focaccia, intended as an appetizer, arrived, but unfortunately, it was nothing more than a rather unloving, very thin pizza. No fluffy yeast dough, no olive oil at all. Instead, an excess of red onion. The taste was abysmal. The Pizza Contadina was of comparably low quality. Barely any tomato sauce, thinly shaved zucchini slices, five slices of goat cheese, and a few sun-dried tomatoes. The whole thing was sprinkled with musty-tasting shredded dill. I've rarely been served such a bad pizza. Therefore, I didn't finish it. Overall, I can't recommend the trattoria, especially since the prices led me to expect at least average quality. A disappointment.

Delicious wood-fired pizza at fair prices!

Best pizza I've eaten so far. We have been there several times and have always been very satisfied. We've ordered before, but it just tastes better in person. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

After reading so many good reviews, we wanted to test the pizzas and drove to Molbergen specifically for that purpose. Rarely have I been so disappointed and angry at the same time. We ordered for the whole family and had to pay €8 more than expected because the prices on the homepage were no longer up to date. My son got the stacks of pizzas in his hand and went to the car. Then at home there was a nasty surprise. All the pizzas were mixed up and black on the outside and partly on the bottom. I had a half seafood, half meat pizza (Pizza Mare e Mondi) and then if there is ham or salami on top of the tuna or shrimp, it is not half half as the description says. Everything was too salty and the children could hardly eat the pizza with fries because the fries tasted cold and old. At €89 I really expected more. For that price you can go to the restaurant. We tried calling them several times to complain but no one answered the phone. I can hardly put my disappointment and anger into words right now.

Unfortunately a bit disappointing, pizza base too dry and hard, little cheese. Ambience mediocre, in the room on the right the light is too bright and uncomfortably cold. Wine was very good.

We love the restaurant. Whenever our family or friends visit us, we always go here. The pizza is so incredibly tasty, the crust is so crispy. Even with special orders it always worked. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the noodles. The pasta was totally soft and obviously overcooked, which unfortunately significantly reduced the enjoyment. The sauce wasn't convincing either - it seemed like a ready-made sauce and tasted neither fresh nor aromatic. There were no spices and herbs and the whole dish seemed very carelessly prepared. The portion was large, but unfortunately the quality couldn't make up for it. Overall, I had the feeling that there was little emphasis on authentic taste and good ingredients here. For the price I really expected more and will probably go somewhere else for pasta

We ate at Carmelo's and had a very special experience. We didn't want to go home! We simply enjoyed such a warm and familiar atmosphere! The boss in particular was very attentive and took care of his guests despite a lot of work. You very rarely experience that. The food? Of course just as great! 😋😋😋

Incredibly delicious Italian pizza, a culinary delight with high-quality and fresh ingredients! Great service and nice ambience. We canceled an ingredient for a pizza and it was even deducted from the price on the bill! Where else is that?! We were very positively surprised. If we lived nearby we would probably be regular customers. Thank you for this culinary highlight on our vacation!

What delicious pizzas we got here. Both the 4 cheeses and the tuna. Deliciously thin base, straight from the wood-fired oven. Recommended! Tip: they are closed on Tuesdays, the site still needs to be adjusted.

If you appreciate real Sicilian pizza, Carmelo is the right place for you! The antipasti with vegetables, sausage, cheese and olives are also a poem. There is also a very friendly team around the boss, who personally stands at the stone oven and conjures up pizza and treats his customers in an almost friendly manner. It's a shame that we live so far away and could only enjoy this magical trattoria on vacation. Grazie Carmelo!

We are excited. We always enjoy coming to Carmelo and his wife. The trattoria is cozy and invites you to linger. In summer the outdoor terrace is open and you can sit there too. Carmelo, keep it up. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately disappointing, with the charm of a train station hall. Too unromantically loud and bright for a small Italian restaurant. The staff is friendly, but not necessarily attentive. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The Parma ham was relatively tasteless, the carbonara strangely flaky. I won't visit a second time.

Ontzettend lekker gegeten! Normaal eet ik een lekker stuk vlees met gorgonzola saus bij de Italiaan. Dit keer pizza. En ik was echt verrast. Gebakken in een hout oven, en dat proef je! Afgelopen week 2 keer geweest. Bij ons volgende bezoek komen we zeker nog een keer.

Geweldige Italiaanse pizza’s (zeer dunne bodem), antipasti en desserts! En dat met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Zeker een aanrader!

Super leckeres Essen. Unsere 2 Vorspeisen Antipasti Misto und Carpaccio waren so groß, dass wir sie mit 4 Personen geteilt haben. Die Pizzen und Pasta waren wirklich großartig und das Tiramisu und das Canolli-Dessert waren göttlich lecker. Wenn wir jemals wieder in der Gegend sind, würden wir gerne wieder hierher kommen.

Hier hat alles gestimmt. Leckeres, authentisches Essen und super freundlicher Service. Die Kinder durften sogar helfen ihre Pizza zu belegen. Und preislich total in Ordnung.

Ein nettes kleines lokal, draußen kann man gut sitzen, innen ist es etwas beengt, von daher eher bei gutem Wetter zu empfehlen. Das Essen war gut, die Bedienung freundlich. Es wurde zu Anfang zwar ein falsches Getränk serviert, da das bestellte angeblich nicht mehr vorrätig war, was dann aber auch wieder nicht stimmte :-)) aber sowas kann in der Gastronomie mal passieren. Einzig beim Pavillon sollte nachgebessert werden. Das Gestänge auf dem Boden ist eine stolperfalle.da sollte dringend Abhilfe geschaffen werden, bevor jemand stürzt. Im ganzen ein ganz "normaler* Italiener ohne zipp und zapp.

Bester Italiener im gesamten oldenburgerischen Münsterland. Pizza ist aus dem Steinofen super lecker. Tiramisu ein Traum.

Wij hebben vanavond met de hele familie, 7 personen heerlijke pizza's gegeten in dit gezellige restaurant. Zeer vriendelijke bediening een echte aanrader.
