This restaurant was a huge disappointment! After reading the reviews, we chose this over a long list of recommended Italian restaurants in San Miguel. The atmosphere was a zero. Right on a very very, very noisy busy street. They seated us upstairs in a messy kitchen area. Still very noisy. Plants were not taken care of ...dying. service was awful. Lots of really better choices. Food was a 3.

I was there on Saturday with my girlfriend and I was thrilled. Friendly, attentive service even though it was busy. The food was delicious and the atmosphere made you feel good. I would love to come back!!!!

Can I recommend this ristorante? Absolutely! Marburg's city center is cozy, quiet and simply beautiful. It's hard to find a nicer place to stay than the Valente. You feel personally invited and as a guest you are the king. Grazie for your ospitalità, friends!

I found a feeling of home, Italy despite being in Germany. Traditional dishes, excellent service and courtesy.

The restaurant is a bit out of the way - but the walk was worth it! The lasagna is in my top five and the pizza was also delicious.
