I visited the restaurant on August 29th and was completely thrilled. The food was excellent – ​​fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was equally outstanding: attentive, friendly, and very professional. The atmosphere was simply beautiful and perfectly rounded off the evening. A truly fantastic experience – highly recommended!

Exceptional dining experience at Leon d’Oro! We had an unforgettable evening at Leon d’Oro in Riva del Garda. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, truly showcasing authentic Italian cuisine. A special mention goes to our waiter, Hazem, who made the evening even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, offering great recommendations and making sure we felt welcome throughout our visit. His warm personality added a personal touch to the whole experience. If you’re in Riva del Garda, I highly recommend dining here. Excellent food, outstanding service, and a lovely atmosphere!

Conclusion: The food is very tasty, but absolutely not suitable for families. We've eaten at Leon d'oro several times, and the food is really delicious. However, we don't feel comfortable here as a family. The owner goes to great lengths to make guests with children feel as uncomfortable as possible, so they won't come back. Recently, we were told to use the back exit so "we'd be out faster." We usually eat here quite early; there are often hardly any tables occupied, and our child eats well and doesn't make a mess on the table or the floor. It's not loud, and it doesn't run around. Nevertheless, people look at you very disparagingly, and you feel like you're not supposed to come back.

The food was very solid, tasty, but not a highlight that would make me say: I definitely have to have it again. The service was very good, our waiter Cristian did an outstanding job and was very funny at the same time. The atmosphere didn't have much of an Italian feeling, but more could definitely happen here. The parasols from a brewery alone don't fit into the picture for me. Otherwise very cordial.

Poor service. I waited over 1/2 hour for a pizza margarita. Everyone else sitting at my table had eaten and were waiting to leave soon. There were no excuses either.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The pizza had a lot of cheese, but unfortunately very few other ingredients. In addition, the staff was rude: we came with a small water bottle (0.5L) in hot weather, but the waiter immediately came and asked us to put it away. Overall, the atmosphere was unpleasant and we didn't feel comfortable.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr engagierte Bedienung. Vitello Tonnato war okay, allerdings war das Kalbfleisch sehr trocken. Taglione mit Trüffel sehr überteuert mit wenig Trüffel und sehr trocken es fehlte eindeutig eine leichte Bechamel. Weinauswahl der Pinot Grigio war excellent.

A very sweet little shop located in a quiet neighborhood. The menu is a bit limited but tasty. It was a bit noisy from the patrons - no music and the staff were friendly.

Pasquale is one of our favorite Italians in Frankfurt and we can only recommend him. There is always something new to discover on the map. The pasta and meat dishes in particular are great. The service is nice and courteous, the atmosphere is good for a cozy evening.

Nice place, nothing special but with its charm. There were two of us and we had tortellini with ricotta and spinach, really good. The service leaves something to be desired, a strange thing happened, at a certain point everyone in the room disappeared, we were waiting to order a coffee, a table next to us still hadn't eaten, another table was waiting to ask for the account, we turned to see if anyone was coming when we realized that the staff was sitting at a table having lunch!!!!!!! Something I've never seen before in my entire life. However, despite what I don't know if it's customary or if it was a coincidence, I recommend trying it because the food is good.

How others can give this 3 stars or more is a mystery. I had ordered a pizza and a Diet Coke, I got a tiny (I think 200ml) Coke Zero, the tomato sauce was too watery and the dough was too thick and not quite cooked through (but that seemed to be exactly what I wanted, because everyone else had it). It was exactly the same at the table), but what makes me only give one star is the unfriendly service: simply moving someone over during the meal without even asking in a friendly way is extremely cheeky and the opposite of hospitality. Conclusion: too expensive, poor quality and unfriendly staff

It’s always pretty busy which is, of course, proof of quality. The service, too, is very good and accommodating. The price level compared to the experience you’ll get is fitting. We spent between 50-60€ per person

Heerlijke aan tafel gefileerde grote vis, verse salade, rustige italiaanse muziek, grappa vd zaak en keurige aankleding tafel en tafellinnen. Aanrader voor wie siciliaanse tafel ambieerd! Steht uns der Sinn nach italienischem Essen, dann gehen wir ins "Leon d'Oro". Ob nur zu zweit oder für eine größere Feier - in diesem wunderbaren familiären Lokal fühlen wir uns immer ausgesprochen wohl und willkommen. Sicherlich ist es oft voll und dann auch etwas lauter, aber in welchem guten Ristorante ist es das nicht? Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist topp. Mein Sohn liebt die Pizza, meine Tochter die Pasta mit Trüffeln. Meine Frau kann sich meistens schwer entscheiden, findet dann aber doch immer das Richtige. Mein Tipp sind die Lammkoteletts... und dazu einen "Primitivo". Wenn Liebe durch den Magen geht, dann ist das "Leon d'Oro" voller Liebe.

Wenn ein Restaurant auf seiner Webseite schreibt, dass man bis 23:30 Uhr zu Gast sein darf, dann ist es ein Unding, um zehn Minuten vor 22 Uhr gesagt zu bekommen, dass man nicht mehr bekommt. Wir waren zu zweit, Freunde von uns waren nach einer Lesung schon früher ins Restaurant gegangen. Wir mussten dann um eine Pizza und einen Salat regelrecht bitten, drei weitere Freunde, die noch etwas später kamen, kriegten garnichts mehr zu Essen, sondern höchst missmutig ein Glas Wein hingestellt. Und das an einem Samstagabend. Bitte ändern Sie also die Angaben auf ihrer Webseite. Das Essen war gut, aber längst nicht so großartig, wie in vielen Kommentaren angeboten. Vielleicht war mir aber auch der Appetit vergangen nach diesem Umgang.

Das Leon d‘oro ist das beste Restaurant in Frankfurt. die Trüffelnudeln sind ein Traum. Ich habe auf der gesamten Welt kaum bessere gegessen. das Mousse au chocolat ist ebenfalls super lecker. Das geaamte Team ist sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr angenehm. der Lieferservice klappt ebenfalls einwandfrei. Großes Lob!!!

Ein schönes Restaurant, mit einem netten Flair und einem Ambiente, was etwas von Noir hat. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und sehr familiär. Wir hatten soweit auch einen schönen Abend an dem wir Spaß hatten. Leider kann hier die Küche nicht mithalten. Die Speisen waren oft kalt und es hat hier schon an der Grundqualität der verarbeiteten Lebensmittel gemangelt, sowie verwendeter Convenienceprodukte, was auf dem Niveau nicht vorkommen sollte. Zudem waren die Gerichte extrem lasch gewürzt. Weinauswahl und Cocktails waren ok. Hier wäre mit ein paar wenigen Handgriffen noch viel Luft nach oben.

Ein sehr angenehmes Restaurant mit stark zurückhaltendem Personal, also nicht aufdringlich, sondern da, wenn man sie braucht, daher 5 Sterne für den Service. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber leider mit extrem kleinen Portionen. Die Pasta bestand aus 15 Ravioli Stücken bei der Nachbarin, bei mir aus einer Handvoll Nudeln. Diese sehr ansprechend zurecht gemacht, aber jeder normal gewachsene Mensch müsste rein theoretisch zweimal bestellen, um satt zu werden. Daher nur vier Sterne. Unter Ambiente zähle ich auch den Gesamteindruck des Restaurants im Bereich Behaglichkeit. Zu einem Restaurant Besuch gehört für mich Einkehr, Wohlfühlen, befriedigt und gesättigt gehen dazu. Das ist hier in zwei Teilen nicht gegeben. Das Willkommen war freundlich professionell, die Einrichtung ist für einen risikofreudigen Alkoholliebhaber exakt richtig. Jede andere Person bekommt bei teilweise kunstvoll gestapelten Wein- und Spirituosen Flaschen in allen möglichen Konstellationen, wenige Zentimeter hinter den Gästen drapiert, Beklemmungen. Das viele Glas fängt die ohnehin extrem laute Geräuschkulisse auf, verstärkt sie und schallt sie in den Raum zurück. Entsprechend werden die Gäste immer lauter, um sich verständigen zu können und eine Lärmspirale verselbständigt sich. Wohlfühlen ist so, trotz des sehr guten Personals, nicht möglich. Entsprechend habe ich den Abend auch nicht als befriedigend erlebt und gesättigt war ich ebenfalls nicht, wie oben erwähnt. Daher nur drei Sterne. Herzlichen Gruß aus dem Westerwald Sven

Sehr schönes italienisches Restaurant, in welchem man in herzlicher, familiärer Atmosphäre empfangen und als Gast geschätzt wird. Authentische, superleckere Pastagerichte, tolle Weinauswahl -vielleicht die beste in Frankfurt-, sehr gute Steaks und Lammkoteletts, Riesengarnelen immer wanhsinnig toll zubereitet und die Desserts immer ein Gedicht. Zu guter Letzt auch eine sehr gute Auswahl an Spirituosen, was in Frankfurt eher in klassischen Bars anzutreffen ist. Die Einrichtung ist mit Geschmack gewählt, von der Wandgestaltung über die stets frische Tischdeko bis zu Gedeck und Gläsern. Ein tolles Ambiente, um mit Freunden und/oder Familie einzukehren. Eine absolute Empfehlung!!

Bel ristorante vicino allo zoo, piatti italiani veramente buoni, assolutamente consigliato.ho ordinato la parmigiana di melanzane, essendo un antipasto non sapevo se porzione piccola: il cameriere mi ha fatto preparare una porzione più grande x essere sicuro, gentilissimo!

Der Service war freundlich und nett, die Küche aber wohl auf Grund des Andrangs völlig überfordert: Fast eine halbe Stunde auf den Vorspeisensalat zu warten ist eindeutig zu lange! Die Pasta war allerdings lecker. Ob wir aber - schon wegen des immensen Geräuschpegels - noch mal kommen, ist zweifelhaft.

Lieblingsitaliener Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gern zum Essen und zum Wohlfühlen - es herrscht diese unnachahmliche italienische Gastfreundschaft, die den Besuch immer besonders macht, auch wenn man mal "nur" eine schnelle Pizza essen kommt. Vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis her, ist das Leon d´Oro für uns ins Frankfurt unübertroffen - wirklich sehr hohe Qualität der Speisen, ständig optimiertes Ambiente und toller Service zu immer noch fairen Preisen. Unsere Lieblingsvorspeisen sind die "Parmiggiana" und das "Rote Beete Carpaccio", bei der Hauptspeise ist das Rinderfilet ebenso jedes Mal perfekt gegart wie der Loup de Mer taufrisch ist. Erstaunlich wie das Leon d´Oro über so viele Jahre Top-Qualität liefert und sich dabei immer wieder neu erfindet. Wir sind gern hier und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch!
