Only had soup, but it was very good, happy to accommodate special requests, great conversation with the waitress.

New owners have kept the menu and recipes, but I don't really feel comfortable there anymore.

Honest, direct, good. Anyone who wants everything clinically sterile and standard hipster furnishings for an extra 200 flakes is in the wrong place. Thank God. Everyone else just eats well, makes stupid jokes with the staff and enjoys life. 2023: still damn good food and great guests and service staff!

The tortellini alla panna and the pasta from the daily menu were always delicious, but the lasagna was unfortunately a disappointment. Overcooked pasta sheets with pureed tomatoes and small pieces of minced meat. The veal schnitzel in white wine sauce was also unconvincing, as was the Aperol Spritz with the lemon wedge. But the service is always helpful and quick.

Great ambience, very good food and very good service. I can highly recommend the cannelloni. Unfortunately these were sold out yesterday, but we were offered a similar alternative. That made us very happy and happy. Unfortunately, I'm not from Darmstadt myself, but whenever I'm here for work, I'll come back here for dinner. It's a great restaurant.

I chose lasagna from the lunch menu. The accompanying salad was very tasty. The lasagna was very hot and seemed fresh. Price-performance was ok here. The woman who served us could have been a little friendlier. Otherwise the prices are on the higher side.

Outrageously overpriced appetizer platters. A mixed starter platter was charged for 100 euros for 3.5 people and included 2 slices of salmon carpaccio, 3 slices of vitello tonnato, 3 slices of parma with melon, 3 slices of beef carpaccio, 3 calamari rings, 2 slices of tomato with 2 burattas and a spoonful of grilled mushrooms. Since we were in a small group, 4 plates were served for 400 euros for 14 people. If everyone had ordered the most expensive appetizer individually, it would have cost a third of what we paid. When we asked why it was so expensive, we were told that we were only served fresh produce and no slices of salami. Actually, it goes without saying that you will be served fresh products in the restaurant. As a thank you, there wasn't even grappa on the house.
