La Casa Toscana in Darmstadt

We had eaten at Casa Toscana several times before, but never as bad as today. The 5 pizzas looked so exactly alike that you wonder if they were conveniently frozen products... even the spices on the tomato sauce were dried herbs, not fresh. Plus a risotto alla marinara... rubbery seafood (except for the prawns which were ok), but even worse, no risotto rice (more like long grain or even basmati), zero shabbiness. Is there a new owner? Was the cook sick? I have no idea... but it really wasn't any fun today...

1 hour 40 until the food is on the table says a lot. We could see other tables being occupied twice while we waited.

Delicious food, friendly staff, fast service.

Too bad, ordered for 7 people, reservation couldn't be found when I arrived. Then seated at a table for 8 people. Now there were only 5 of us because two people canceled at short notice due to illness. When we reported this, we were seated at a different table, which is generally not a problem. Now we were told loudly and quite unfriendly by the waitress that we would have to pay €27 each for the 2 missing people because we had reserved for 7, which I find laughable since my reservation, which I had already made 3 weeks in advance, was virtually non-existent. After consulting with the boss - also rather unsympathetic - We then left the location without ordering anything and went to another Italian restaurant nearby, where we received excellent service and were given a wonderful table even without a reservation. Service and food excellent, we now always meet there and at regular intervals. Sometimes something bad has a good side :-) And the 1 star is only for the parking lot!

We love pizza. We've ordered pizza a few times but we didn't like it. The reviews said a lot of good things about the pizza, so we tried it again. Yes, the pizza was good and tasty. We really enjoyed it and I hope it continues like this.

This was our third time eating there. Each time there was a table with additional dishes that we chose from. The pasta, as well as the fish, were very tasty. The service friendly and attentive. We will come again.

After Bella Italia closed we came to this restaurant. The pizza wasn't very good. Today we were here again and had pizza and it was delicious. We loved the dough. Bravo.

Nice restaurant. My wife and I have been here 3 times already. The portions are simply huge. The steaks are delicious. Grilled squid and cuttlefish too. The pizzas are better than other local restaurants. The price tag for dinner with wine for two (and pizza to go) is 60-70 euros, quite adequate.

I chose lasagna from the lunch menu. The accompanying salad was very tasty. The lasagna was very hot and seemed fresh. Price-performance was ok here. The woman who served us could have been a little friendlier. Otherwise the prices are on the higher side.

The restaurant looks rather inconspicuous from the outside. We were even more positively surprised by the great food and friendly service. The starters were super tasty and varied and the main courses also completely impressed us. The wine and aperitif were also delicious. Thanks to the parking lot behind the house, you can also save yourself the trouble of looking for a parking space. All around great!

We always enjoy coming here because the food has always tasted delicious and the quality is consistent, both in terms of food and service. The staff is super friendly and have been working here for many years. Of course that also speaks for the boss ;o) Our recommendation...just try it out for yourself. We'd love to come back!

The pizza was very tasty, but the staff wasn't particularly nice to me and the atmosphere is more for old people.

We sat outside. Depending on the traffic situation, it can be very loud there as it is located directly on a main road. There was nothing wrong with the food. Solid. The service was friendly and helpful, but everyone else's dishes had already been cleared away even though my wife and I were still eating. That is not how it works!

Good honest food, nice ambience and friendly service at normal prices, unfortunately the taste has deteriorated a bit.

The food is super tasty, we had a fish platter for 2 people, it was really good and a lot, it's worth the money! The beer garden is beautifully decorated and the service is very friendly.

The staff is also very attentive, friendly and professional without being intrusive. You are warmly welcomed when you make your reservation, and this positive impression continues throughout the evening. Our waitress was able to competently answer all of our questions about the dishes and wines. The menu offers an impressive selection of traditional and innovative Italian dishes. The wine list also left nothing to be desired. With a wide selection of Italian and international wines, there was a suitable accompaniment for every dish. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience an evening full of enjoyment and Italian hospitality.

The pizza was made quickly and picked up straight away. The tuna pizza tasted delicious, but €11.50 is a little too expensive for a pizza. Therefore unfortunately no 5 stars.

Great restaurant!!! My mother and I live in Darmstadt and enjoy coming here. In the summer we enjoy sitting outside. The food is just great and we have never been disappointed. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The owner is very nice and excellent Cook . The food not only tastes delicious but it is also a pure feast for the eyes. We love eating there. We have chosen him as our favorite Italian. Highly recommended if you know and love Italian cuisine.

I'm happy to give 5 stars because I've known the restaurant for years. It's not a 'typical' Italian restaurant. However, I like the personal atmosphere, the food and especially the friendly and kind service.

Lucky that I choose this place. The service is great and they even gave a complimentary as a bonus. The food is tasty and big portion. They have also special fresh special menu.

Wir gehen immer sehr gerne hier hin. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, das Essen ist super und die Getränke sind auch Top. Hier wird sogar auf jeden Extrawunsch eingegangen!

Seit 45 jahren hier! Das ist die Inkarnation der Nachbarschaft pizzeria ums eck. Inzwischen vieeeel besser mit fisch etc. Aber das lokal lebt vom Betreiber, hassan. Ein wunderbarer Mensch, tolles lokal!!

Leckeres Essen und angenehmes Ambiente. Wir haben trotz weniger Gäste lange auf das Essen gewartet. Die vegane/vegetarische Auswahl ist extrem klein. Sie konnten aber gut Auskunft über die Inhaltsstoffe geben.

Ich habe bei euch sehr leckere italienische Gerichte genossen (sowohl vor Ort, als auch schon abgeholt). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Ambiente gemütlich und die Preise fair. Sehr leckeres Essen und es ist immer Recht viel los. Reservieren ist auf jeden Fall sinnvoll. Wenn das Restaurant sehr voll ist muss man teilweise etwas auf den Service warten dennoch ist die Inhaberin total herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist echt TOP

Erstaunlich gute Qualität für kleines unscheinbares italienisches Restaurant. Der Service war freundlich und entspannt Punkt die Speisen waren auffallend frisch und keine Dosenware. Auch der Kaffee hatte eine besonders gute Qualität! La casa Toscana ist das am nächsten erreichbare Restaurant von der Burg Frankenstein kommend Richtung Wiesbaden. Ein Lokal wo man gerne wiederkommt. Weiter so!

Nur zu empfehlen! Bei unserem heutigen Spaziergang, liefen wir an dem Restaurant La Casa Toscana vorbei und da es gut gerochen hat, haben wir uns spontan für eine Reservierung am Abend entschieden. Obwohl wir seit mehr als 2 Jahren in Eberstadt wohnen, war heute unser erster Besuch. Das Restaurant ist uns vorher noch nie aufgefallen, obwohl wir kaum 50 Meter entfernt wohnen. Angekommen wurden wir an einen Tisch im Lokal gesetzt. Der Empfang war herzlich. Der Boden und die Vorhänge sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber trotzdem herrscht eine gemütlich Atmosphäre, was auch an der italienischen Hintergrundmusik liegt. Die Speisekarte ist sehr ausgiebig, es gibt verschiedene Gerichte, von deutscher bis italienischer Küche. Da wir in anderen Kommentaren gelesen haben, dass die Pizza die beste in Darmstadt sein soll, bestellten wir uns zur Vorspeise eine Pizza Burrata, die wir uns teilten. Dazu bestellten wir uns noch etwas Wein. Der Wein schmeckte hervorragend und wurde von einem Gruß aus der Küche begleitet. Der Gruß aus der Küche bestand aus Bruccetta und eingelegten Oliven. Das Weißbrot der Bruccetta war perfekt getoastet und die Tomaten schmeckten frisch, die Oliven rundeten das ganze noch ab. Jetzt kam also der spannenden Teil, hält die Pizza was sie verspricht und das Fazit ist ein klares ja. Der Teig ist dünn und gut gebacken, die Pizza hat genau die richtige Menge an Belag und ich würde tatsächlich behaupten, dass es zu den besten Pizzen in Darmstadt und Umgebung gehört. Weiter ging es dann mit dem Hauptgang, Lamm und Muscheln. Auch hier wieder großes Lob! Leider waren die Augen größer als der Magen, deswegen haben wir am Ende etwas kämpfen müssen, aber wir haben letztendlich alles geschafft. Am Ende haben wir für 3x0,25 Wein, Wasser, Pizza, Lamm und Muscheln, 69 Euro bezahlt, was total fair ist. Der Service ist auch noch mal hervorzuheben, da dieser sehr aufmerksam war und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder und sind trotzdem etwas traurig, dass wir La Casa Toscana nicht früher kennengelernt haben. Durch die große Auswahl an Gerichten, haben wir aber jede Menge Gründe wiederzukommen.

Immer und immer wieder gerne. Essen absolut super. Service top und viel Spaß ist auch dabei. Bis zum nächsten Mal, wir freuen uns jetzt schon 😉

Nette Atmosphäre Gutes Essen Netter Außenbereich Zu teuer für die Lage

Das Essen war super. Und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Ausgezeichnete Küche. Sowohl die Fleischspeisen als auch die Pasta waren von außerordentlicher Qualität und hervorragend zubereitet. Ebenso die Vorspeisen und Desserts. Der Service ist routiniert und unauffällig. Nachteilig im Sommer ist die etwas einfach gestaltete Zeltterrasse und der sehr laute Straßenverkehr.

Mega lecker. Egal ob von der Speisekarte oder Tageskarte. Immer wieder kommen wir gerne.

Gemütliches kleines Restaurant mit freundlicher Bedienung und für meinen Geschmack sehr gutes Essen. Man kann draußen sitzen und ist zur Hauptstraße durch Hohe Büsche abgeschirmt.

Mmhh, sehr leckere Pizza. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Preise sind im normalen Segment. La Casa Toscana kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Das Essen (wir hatten Steaks) war makellos. Ich empfehle dazu Bratkartoffeln und Pfannengemüse. Wer noch nicht hier war, dem ist es wirklich empfohlen, hier einmal einzukehren.
