Unfortunately, I'm always disappointed when we go. During the week we waited 1 hour for spaghetti and pizza when the restaurant was half full, and the food was lukewarm. The noodles are very al dente, pizza is not spicy but very salty. Tomatoes on the bruschetta ice cold etc. Friendliness on the phone was great. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.
What’s the benefit of having a big family? Apparently, it means you’ll always get good reviews. Otherwise I could not understand the good reviews.
The first impression you get when entering this restaurant is that something’s missing. It seems like they ran out of money before they could afford any proper decoration. The room feels empty and unfinished.
Next, you’re greeted by a rather unmotivated waitress who, in my opinion, reminded me the service at the bakery on a train station. Not friendly, no smile, and absolutely no interest in the guests.
To be fair, the shorter waitress was friendlier — a small but noticeable difference.
But the surprises don’t stop there. As soon as you open the menu, you’d think you’re dining at a high-end Italian place on Brennerstraße. The prices are steep — dishes start at €16, with pasta over €20.
It gives off the impression that the owner wants to turn €1 of ingredients into €22 profit.
It’s a shame, really, because you actually look forward to the food — but then comes the next surprise: the food itself.
When ordering fish, no one even offers to prepare it properly.
The pizza bread was crispy and tasty — we had the one with tomatoes. But the Spaghetti Marinara were a disappointment: overcooked noodles and ingredients that tasted like they came straight out of a Metro pre-packed bag.
The Penne with four cheeses tasted more like Penne with one cheese and a lot of milk.

Walked in and was greeted personally by the boss and given a great table.
Then had a really delicious meal and experienced a little piece of Italy.
Read the other reviews and treat yourself to this really good pizzeria.

A nice little pizzeria. The service was extremely friendly. The food was good and the portions were sufficient. The highlight came at the end: the espresso! We all melted away.
Be careful when paying!
A dinner for two here cost us over €1000 on top of the actual bill. Requests for a refund have been rejected and ignored for >a year and the claim is now even being denied at great expense by a lawyer, despite witnesses. According to previous information, only 3 other tables were occupied on the day of our visit - unfortunately the incorrectly debited amount could no longer be assigned...
I would strongly advise everyone to avoid a restaurant where the landlord personally exploits his guests in this way. You shouldn't be blinded by host Giuseppe's initial friendliness and look for trustworthy alternatives (there are enough in Munich / Maxvorstadt). Avoid visitors!
A great restaurant with excellent food and extremely courteous service (the boss is funny and communicative!!). We felt comfortable from A - Z and felt like we were staying with friends!
REALLY 100% recommended! Very nice and friendly service! Food was super tasty… drinks (especially in terms of price) were absolutely fine. We come from further away and were looking for something close by... And we weren't disappointed! Multi-cultural (probably Italian-heavy) and therefore lively, but that doesn't detract from it! Quite the opposite! We felt very comfortable! Absolute recommendation!
