Pepe e Sale in München

Came here for lunch with my partner and had some ravioli al limone and a classic lasagna. Including two schorle the total was 36.50€ which is neither cheap nor especially expensive. Service is friendly, fast and there's complimentary bread with the order. The ravioli were very well balanced. Refreshingly lemony and creamy. The lasagna was done very well too. Overall it's a great spot for Italian food.

A very authentic Italian restaurant with very friendly staff and flair. The menu is displayed on the wall inside and is updated daily. The sauces for the pasta dishes are authentic Italian and not from a can. Everything is beautifully presented. The taste is very good, and the prices are mid-range.

Excellent food (gazpacho and salmon in dill sauce) at a fair price. A singing chef and motivated staff serve a focused menu. The decor is bistro-style, with high tables and bar stools. I would go back anytime!

A great, owner-operated Italian restaurant. I came here primarily for lunch and really enjoyed it. The daily menu is always varied and always delicious. Unfortunately, the location currently has a negative rating, as it's currently besieged by queues of frustrated customers from the Smartphoneland parcel shop next door, sometimes 100 meters long, whose owner regularly shouts out and verbally abuses his customers. It's very unpleasant; it's not pleasant to eat in such a state of karma. As soon as it's possible to sit outside in peace again, I'll gladly come back.

The shop next door is absolutely terrible. I actually quite like the food and the staff, but the owner of the parcel shop next door acts like he owns the whole city and treats his customers so unpleasantly that it's even affecting the people next door.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience here. Right from the start we were lied to about free tables being reserved, but we insisted on waiting. After 10 minutes we were allowed to sit at a table and ordered 2 drinks and a tiramisu. Our drinks came quickly, the tiramisu said “coming immediately”. After a table that came 10 minutes after us got their tiramisu before us, we decided to pay and leave. We also observed that the supposedly “reserved” tables were given to spontaneous walk-in customers. It's a real shame that people have a derogatory manner here, as the place actually looks like a super authentic Italian restaurant.

A small, simple, friendly and incredibly tasty trattoria. Not one of those intrusively stylish Neumunich shops, but a piece of real, authentic Italian feeling. The true quality is also demonstrated by the fact that you can order the house wine without hesitation.

The menu is changing depending on whatever they write on the board. I think it's great for wine and some food, but not a food focus place.

Authentic small restaurant run by three older men from Italy who cook what they buy at the market that day. Very tasty, casual and good atmosphere.

Simple, traditional Italian food, delicious and priced fairly. The menu is simple and targets Munich needs, but the food is high quality and the recipes are not adapted to weird local demands (sorry, Germans). Very kind and fast service. Highly recommended.

Gute Weine, Essen eher mittelmäßig. Preise aber okay. Eher was zum draußen essen.

Zum ersten und leider definitiv zum letzen Mal. Vielleicht hatten wir Pech, aber das Essen (Trüffelpasta mit trüffelöl und zwei Scheibchen Trüffel und eine Carbonara, oder wie man es nennen mag - es hatte nix mit einer Carbonara gemein, gestocktes Ei, keine typische Soße, kein Guanciale) waren leider unterirdisch. Ein Hobbykoch kann dies besser zubereiten. Wahrlich schade! Persönlich kann ich die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen… eventuell bin ich einfach auch eine bessere Küche gewöhnt bzw die vorherigen Bewerter haben andere Geschmacksnerven. Service war lieb und bemüht, aber das war’s auch schon wieder. ….ich kann es leider nicht weiter empfehlen. Sehr schade. Alles gute weiterhin.

Gerne wieder! Wir kamen spontan vorbei und hatten Glück das der Kellner uns schon nach kurzer Zeit einen freien Tisch anbieten konnte. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und offen Empfangen und konnte draußen im Scharnigarten platz nehmen. Das Ambiente war puristisch. Die Motorengeräusche störten wenig nur das blendende grüne Licht vom Geschäft neben an passte nicht so richtig. Schnell konnten wir Getränke und Essen bestellen. Die Gerichte waren überschaubar und trotzdem ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Es wurde sogar 2-3 zusätzliche Gerichte die nicht auf der Karten stehen angeboten. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr fein. Meine Trüffelnudeln und Gazpacho waren köstlich. Die Preise absolut fair! Hintenraus verlor der Service etwas an Aufmerksamkeit aber nichts was den netten Abend wirklich stören konnte. Es lohnt sich vorbeizukommen.

Mehr als ein Bistro! Leckere, schnörkellose italienische Küche mit einer ausgezeichneten Auswahl an Weinen. Für mich eine Entdeckung mit Potenzial zum Stammlokal!

Eine gute Adresse für das Mittagessen zwischendurch, mit leckeren Mittagsgerichten zu fairem Preis. Die Gerichte waren alle authentisch italienisch, von den Bedienungen des Familienrestaurants ganz zu schweigen. Die offensichtlich vorzufindenden Stammgäste und Anwohner stehen als Garant für gute Qualität und Atmosphäre.

Essen lecker. Die Weine sind absolut günstigste Preiskategorie im Einkauf. Ich würde lieber 1 € pro Glas mehr zahlen; damit ließe sich ein ganz anderes Niveau bei den Weinen umsetzen.

Schicker, kleiner Italiener direkt im Herzen von Schwabing. Karte ist sehr übersichtlich, dafür ist jedes Gericht außerordentlich gut. Preise sind auch fair und das Personal supernett. Klare Empfehlung.

Wirklich gute, authentische Gerichte. Gehobener Service und angenehme Atmosphäre. Klientel ebenfalls ansprechend. Es stehen sehr feine, aber wenige Speisen zur Auswahl.

Lo mejor del lugar el camarero que canta mientras hace su servicio. Muy amable además es un lugar donde encontrás siempre una menú original e único todos los días., si todos los días diferentes platos. Recomiendo los tallarines con gambas. Además tienen cerveza Menebrea, todos sus productos 100% italianos. Altamente recomendable 👌

Freundlicher Wirt, gutes Essen, nette Atmosphäre

Habe dort letzten Monat meinen Geburtstag mit 15 Freunden bei live Musik nachgefeiert. Alle Gäste waren vom Essen, Service und der Musik sowie der Atmosphäre begeistert und haben alles mehrmals gelobt. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Abend dort. Das Pepe e Sale ist eine italienische Restaurant-Institution mit Charme, welches von den Stammgästen sehr geschätzt wird. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und zuverlässig. Das familiengeführte Restaurant in der Wilhelmstraße, Ecke Hohenzollernstraße, hat eine abwechlungsreiche, mediterrane Karte für den täglichen Hunger. Die Gerichte sind von gleichbleibend guter Qualität mit ausgewogenem "Pfeffer- und Salz-Verhältnis". Das Restaurant ist ein beliebtes Ziel für Anwohner:innen und Geschäftsleuten in der Umgebung sowie für Kunden aus aller Welt, die für eine kurze Zeit in das italienische Lebensgefühl eintauchen wollen. Im Sommer kann man auf der schattigen Terrasse einen aromatischen Cappuccino oder Espresso nach einem leckeren Mahl genießen, während man mit Gästen am Nachbartisch nette Gespräche führt.
