We were in the Amalfi and were very curious to see whether it lived up to its reputation. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Unfortunately, the owner who served us wasn't particularly friendly and wasn't in a good mood either. Slightly annoyed by questions and a bit of arrogance didn't make the stay any better. His employees, on the other hand, tried to satisfy the customers. The food wasn't actually bad, although the starter plate wasn't that of a real Italian restaurant. For example, vegetables were missing. It was more of a sausage-cheese-calamari plate. The ambience was interesting and imaginative. You got a lot out of a few opportunities. But everyone should still test it for themselves.

It's hard to believe, but this department store has a pizza that is second to none! I've been there a few times and the quality has impressed me every time. Every pizza I've tried has been simply sensational - crispy base, fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. You actually have to look for a good pizza place for a pizza like this, and it's even more surprising to find it in a place like this. The combination of excellent taste and an unexpected ambience makes the visit a special experience. If you're looking for really good pizza, you should definitely stop by here. Absolute recommendation!

Pizza was terrible. I ordered a salami. Salami was just on top of the pizza. Salami was a cheap salami from Rewe. Pizza was ice cold and I had a slight stomach ache after the first bite. Bit by bit it got worse and then I had to urgently leave the table and when I went to the toilet I had unbelievable stomach pains the rest of the evening and had to bloat unbelievably every 5 minutes. I think the dough was thrown around in the kitchen. In the end the fun cost me 20 euros for a pizza that isn't even on the level of a Dr Oetker frozen pizza. A golem is cooking in the kitchen. Be careful that you don't get attacked.

So friendly, you feel welcome right from the start. Excellent food and not to forget great wines. I've been going there for many years.

It was our first time at Georges, which I had only seen from the outside. The ambience while sitting was really pleasant, which - in my personal opinion - is more the exception than the rule these days. However, the music was a bit too loud, which is unfortunately often the case. The service was friendly and quick at the table, there was nothing to complain about here. Unfortunately, after ordering, we were told that the gnocchi had run out - at around 8:00 p.m., which in my opinion just shouldn't happen on a Saturday evening. The drinks and food were served quickly. The food itself was good (in my case Tagliolini Tartufo), but not outstanding and the portion was clearly too small for the price of €25, even taking into account the significantly higher prices overall in the catering industry. Overall, I give 3 stars - especially in view of the poor price-performance ratio, even though I rated the individual areas - food, service and ambience - individually with 4 stars. Overall, I give a limited recommendation for a visit to Georges.

The following problem is that I ordered pasta with a side salad and there was a dead shag (German Krakalake) in the salad. I would like to give minus stars, but that's not possible, so I'm writing the review here now. After calling the store to describe the problem, all I got was the stupid answer: “We can only send new lettuce”. That really doesn't work.

We were there on Sunday evening with five people without a reservation, were greeted in a friendly manner and given a free table. The food was delicious and the pizzas were so large that one pizza could easily feed a person for three days. We shared a pizza (separate toppings possible) and were more than full. The salad was also very fresh and tasty. We were also impressed by the garlic oil that was served free of charge with the pizza. The music was great (salsa mix), but it was a little too loud for my taste. We'd love to come back!

Were here today with several people in this restaurant. I would have liked more. We were the only guests for the two hours we were here. It is well located on the market square. Food was only averagely good for an Italian. I can confirm that too. The tiramisu wasn't that great. Overall it's not that nicely decorated.
