Hopeless food and service. No one should order food from this place or even do not dine in. They don't have respect for customers and their taste sense. I would recommend German food and hygiene authority to shut down this restaurant.

Wir haben im Kohinoor Gelsenkirchen gegessen. Es gibt Hinweise, dass "die Kohinoors" eine Kette sind. Mal selbst recherchieren. Im Kohinoor Gelsenkirchen fanden wir es nicht sooooo gut. Als häufige Indienreisende sind wir aber auch verwöhnt und vielleicht zu kritisch.

Suddenly everything is 2-3 euros more expensive, 16.50 for butter chicken with bread. It's a damn shame to always pass on all costs to the customer. Previous review has been deleted! That says it all :)

The food is very good and the host is very nice!

We ordered 2 x chicken masala for lunch for €14 each and received around 5-6 pieces of chicken, lots of sauce with rice and a small salad (iceberg/2 slices of cucumber/corn). There were almost no vegetables in the sauce. This meal was not worth the price. We felt ripped off.

The store has been closed since 2024. The premises will be renovated and renovated and are expected to be opened by new owners with a different concept from May 2025. Apparently the Taj Mahal was able to stay afloat with the delivery service. The restaurant was unkempt and the surrounding area was anything but appetizing. Deliveries were often made to the NDT Reichenau, where complaints could be ignored and customers were put off with false promises. When pizza and Indian cuisine are combined, it is obvious that neither of the two dishes is mastered.

After 1 1/2 hours of waiting, a “pizza” arrived that I don’t want to declare as pizza. I hope that with luck the food will leave my body firmly tomorrow. With a frozen pizza you are better off in terms of time and taste.

Ordered for the first time, after 90 minutes the call, delivery not possible because it was too far. Ordered via Lieferando. Payment has already been made. Very rude on the phone.
