Rating "Cooking Course": As difficult as it is for me not to give a good review here, because the owner is really likeable and nice, you have to make it clear what the cooking course includes or really is. In my/our eyes, this wasn't a cooking course because you don't cook yourself. The mise en place is already prepared and you actually just watch the chef cook. It explains which ingredients are used and you film, photograph and write down the recipe on your cell phone. Neither before nor after was there an email with a recipe or anything similar. We didn't even know what dish we were cooking. The cost of goods was 50€ each for 4 people, so 200€ was not appropriate either. For example, there was no meat. There was rice, okra and lentils in sauce (spices, onion, tomatoes etc.). Afterwards we sat in the cold restaurant, got a drink and ate with the owner. Later Reiner came, who didn't initially introduce himself and sat down with us after pouring himself a beer with the words: "What a nice meal you've cooked for me." It was natural for him to sit with us. Whether you wanted to or not. It was really uncomfortable and everything was a bit loveless. There was no welcome drink, there was no music, only one drink was served with the meal, it wasn't heated up. Reiner later advertised his stocker boat trips and explained that it was legal if he sent the email address he used to register for the cooking course straight away joins the Delhi Palace newsletter distribution list. You can then unsubscribe when you receive the first newsletter, even when I said straight away that I didn't want one. There was no query when registering for the “cooking course” as to whether you would like a newsletter. There were four of us and some of us... We haven't seen her in a while, so it would have been nice if we had had some "privacy" to ourselves during or after the meal. Unfortunately that wasn't possible because the owner and Reiner sat at the table the whole evening. The bottom line is that we unfortunately felt slightly ripped off and can therefore not recommend the “cooking course”. Also because the “cooking course” is advertised on the homepage as €49, but we didn’t get the euro back. We would have all given it as a gift anyway, but it underlines the whole evening. We didn't want to discuss it any more. Card payment was not possible and there was no receipt either. However: the kitchen, including pans, kitchen utensils etc. was really clean!

Ordered takeaway food. The portions were large, the food was tasty and it came quickly, but there wasn't much going on.

First of all, the food is super delicious. Unfortunately, of course, there is always a but. Unfortunately, for every 3 dishes you order, you only get 1 small bowl of rice that you then have to divide yourself?... Unfortunately, the rice wasn't even enough for 2 people, which is why we ordered more. The portion we ordered again was even smaller and cost extra, which we weren't told. Unfortunately, there's no way you'll get full here, especially for the price. Unfortunately the service is also very, very slow. It took about 15 minutes before we could order drinks. In addition, the waitress walked past our table several times when we wanted to order the second round of drinks and the second portion of rice until she finally noticed us waving. In addition, the service unfortunately looked very bored. As already mentioned, it is very tasty but not for when you are hungry but rather for a snack in between.

I never would recommend anyone to dine there . Food quality very poor and very expensive. Only one plate of chicken biryani is 17 Euro can’t imagine. They also give very less portion compare to the others. However, Even chicken biryani in Stuttgart or Berlin only 12 Euro . One star is too much

Very nice waiter. The food was very tasty. Chicken and lamb. We mentioned the voucher before ordering, so no problems. Juice spritzer very diluted. But otherwise everything is fine

There was only one guest in the restaurant, now we know why. There were four of us, Garnalina Masal for €25.90 that was a fiasco, the Ajasisu Bharja for €17.90 was the most expensive rice and still contained 4 to 5 2cm pieces of meat, literally we were looking for the chunks of meat, sorry , but such a meal, for a total of four, for €94.00 with a drink each, is a disgrace. To forget. You shouldn't eat anything here

Sehr lecker und aufmerksames Personal

Sehr authentische Küche, reichliche Portionen, aufmerksames Personal. Preislich etwas über durchschnitt.

Noch nie in meinem Leben so eine Unverschämtheit erlebt. Wir kamen mit einem Gutschein aus dem Schlemmerblock und wollten diesen beim Bezahlen einlösen. Die Kellnerin weigerte sich aber den Gutschein einzulösen. Auf Nachfrage warum das nicht gehe, meinte sie nur, dass wir das bereits beim Bestellen hätten zeigen sollen. Geht garnicht!

In my 14 years of living in Germany, I never experienced such a pathetic service. The waitress/ owner was rude and impolite right from the beginning. I regret not walking out of the restaurant right at the beginning.

We had veg biriani... it was very good. Two points can be improved 1. Did not allow to drink water carried from outside 2. Cards are not accepted for bills less than 30 euros

Saßen draußen auf der Terrasse unter den Kastanienbäumen- es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis- es platzierten die Kastanien nur so herunter. Das Essen war super- die Mangocreme wie immer = super .Hinterher der Chai ebenso.Einfach hingehen und Indisch genießen.

Es war eine meine Lieblings Restaurant bei Indische Essen aber das leste Mal , dass ich dort war bin ich entauschen geworden da die Essens Portionen waren sehr klein für dem Preis. Wir hatten ein Teller ab 2 Personen die 25 Euro pro Person gekostet hat es haben wir für 2 bestellt. Es waren Schälchien mit Soßen und Fleisch bei der Fleich schlachten war am meisten Soße dabei ich Zahlte 8 kleine Stücke Fleisch bei der Lamm und 9 bei der Hanchen Gericht die linsen Gericht Schalchien war fast nur Soße. Mein Sohn hat andere Gericht bestellt aber der Reis, dass wir bekommen haben war für 2 Personen gedacht die sehr knapp war. Ich denke es war das letzte mal, dass ich dort hin gehe, weil wenn der Fall war dass sie nicht genug für dem Teller hatten, hätten uns gesagt und hätten wir anderes bestellt. Den die Gerichte dort sehr lecker sind.

Wer indisches Essen mag wird die Gerichte lieben. Der Einrichtung ist etwas altbacken aber okay. Der Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein.

Für uns definitiv weit und breit das beste indische Restaurant. Sowohl das Essen, als auch das Ambiente sind wunderbar und daher bin ich seit vielen Jahren gerne zu Gast im Delhi Palace und nehme auch gerne die etwas weitere Fahrt auf mich.

Die Gläser waren komplett verkalkt, sodass sich ein Film auf der Cola gebildet hat. Auf Nachfrage haben wir keine neuen Getränke bekommen. Das Essen war mäßig und die Preise sind für die Leistung viel zu hoch. Ich würde das Restaurant nicht weiter empfehlen.

Really great! The owners are very nice and can even produce some stuff not on the menu. Their garlic naan has a TON of garlic in it which is awesome. They can make it super spicy or not depending on what you want. The kheer is very good as well. I always look forward to visiting when I travel to Tubingen.

Preisleistung stimmt nicht überein ! Achtung! Beim Essen für zwei Personen ist der Preis nicht richtig ersichtlich. Es wird der Preis von 1 Person angezeigt was ja völlig unrelevant ist bei einem Essen für zwei Personen. Die Rechnung war also doppelt so teuer wie gedacht :( Das Essen war okay, aber bei weitem nicht den Preis wert ! Dafür gab es keine lange Wartezeit…

Got a dish as takeaway - it's nice that they have clear vegan options on the menu but the food itself is disappointing. Tastes OK but bland (basically curry for white people but taken too far), extremely oily and I still have indigestion the day after. Would not really recommend.

Un ambiente discreto con ampie vetrate, carico di accessori. Il servizio è buono i pasti sono buonissimi. Consigliato. Eine diskrete Umgebung mit großen Fenstern, voll mit Accessoires. Der Service ist gut, das Essen ist gut. Empfehlenswert. A discreet environment with large windows, loaded with accessories. The service is good, the meals are good. Recommended.

Kleine Portionen und eher zu süße Hauptspeisen, leider dafür nicht besonders würzig und aromatisch.

A great, authentic restaurant! We were passing by and the smell made us come in. The food is wonderful, there's a variety of dishes, also with vegan and vegetarian options. The restaurant itself is big and beautifully decorated. Very much recommended!

Wir haben unsere Suppen und den Mittagstisch sehr genossen. Angemessene Portionen und Preise, ein schönes Ambiente, und eine freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Toll gewürzt und die Suppen waren sehr fein. Wir kommen wieder!

Sehr leckeres Mittagessen und rasche Bedienung. Den Preis fand ich auch angemessen. Wir hatten ein Chicken Curry und ein vegetarisches Gericht, wobei die Soße identisch war, was aber okay ist, Schärfe und Würze waren nach meinem Geschmack.

Good indian food place located near Neckarbruke. Food was nice. We went there with group of 12 people and they had arranged a table for us to sit together. We booked the table well in advance. There was some confusion with the order of a few but it was replaced with the correct dish soon. No tap water available if you ask.

Das Essen schmeckt wirklich hervorragend (ich hatte Tandoori), die Portionsgrößen sind angemessen und der Service sehr freundlich. Es fühlt sich an wie eine kleine Reise nach Indien. Ich war mit meiner Freundin dort und wir waren beide begeistert

Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen super lecker! Große Auswahl an Essen und Getränken und die Möglichkeit eine kleinere Portion zu bestellen. Hat nur etwas länger gedauert. Man kann draußen und drinnen sitzen, geeignet mit Kleinkindern.

Good selection including vegetarian and vegan. Had only one dish, which was reasonably hot, as requested. Waiters did not speak much German but were fluent in English. They probably hadn't worked out in which country the restaurant was.

The food is great!! I was with an Indian friend and she told me that it’s the most original Indian food that she tried in Tübingen! Although the price it’s high but you don’t really think about it when you’ll have eaten the food 😊
