I ordered a Champion cream schnitzel to take away last night, and it was the last time I'll ever get anything to eat there. The schnitzel looked like it came from a customer who didn't finish it, and it was given to me with four soggy croquettes thrown into the package and maybe a tablespoon of sauce at most. It was an outrage that I had to pay for it. It was my first and last time there, and I won't be recommending it to anyone.

Even after so many years it tastes very good. I'm also happy to see that they're busy - even if it means that as a guest you have to wait a little longer. The range of food on offer is also varied, so everyone should find something here.

Price increases are all well and good. But until last week, we paid €11 for a gyro plate. Today, it's only available without salad for €12, plus salad for €15!!! A price increase of over 36%? No thanks.

So, the party platter was ordered for a family celebration, as has been the case several times in recent years. What happened yesterday was really surprisingly bad. The salad was reduced by more than half, although a new one was brought when we asked, but that couldn't prevent the dilemma. The gyro was never freshly cut from the spit. That was anything but fresh. More like frozen and fried in the pan. The meat had very little taste, some of the minced meatballs were still pink on the inside. Unfortunately, the price also seemed to be drastically increased, because the tzatziki (approx. 1kg) that came with it cost around 50 euros. Kind of strange. Very, very disappointing and that was definitely the last time. Anyone who knows the snack bar from back then will definitely no longer get the same thing they expected. The owner seems to have changed here and the snack bar "Bei Michael" no longer seems to be what it used to be.

Came from 🇺🇸 to visit. Hands down the best ice cream place in monchengladbach. Family owned for 30 years!!! Keep up the good work 👏
